Cisco WAN :: Configure Backup Redundant Link On 2951 With IOS 15.0?

We have 6 sites which are connected through E1 links.All sites connected from HQs.
Site A is HQs.
Sited B, C, D, E, and F are Branches.
Site A is directly connected with site B, C, D and E.
Site D is connected with Site F.
Now we have another redundant E1 link for site C and Site F.we are using Static Routes.i have configured Qualified-next-hope on Juniper Router but i am unable to configure IP SLA on Site C Cisco 2951 with IOS 15.0 router.is there another solution for my scenario plz share with me for Redundant Link.

I am looking to setup a solution for backing up a Metro Ethernet connection on a 2951 using an 1841 and 2 T1's in a Multilink. The Metro E will be primary, and if the BGP peer goes down, I want it to switchover to the 1841. Can it be done and is there an example of the BGP setup to work off of?

I have two 3750 switch.switch A(main) and switch B is connected by OFC but i have another wireless link for backup.Now if OFC goes down then i manually connect wireless link with switch B for this reasons i am faceing a lot of problem. I want without any changing of cable if my primary link goes down then my backup link automaticaly goes up and vice versa .
Switch-A port gi1/0/9 and Switch-B port gi1/0/9 is connect by OFC Switch-A port gi1/0/8 and Switch-B port gi1/0/8 is connect by Wireless link (backup) i attach my network diagram kindly find the attachment file.

I configure HSRP on Router 2951 as a primary router, and Router 2811 as backup router. But when I am switching off my Primary router the backup router is taking 2 mins to take over form primary router.

I currently admin a WAN link between two international sites. I have a 2800 at each end. The primary connection between the two sites is 20MB Ethernet PIP MPLS BGP circuit. I also have a pair of T1's in a PPP multilink that I switch over to in the event the primary circuit goes down. I currently am doing the switch over manually. It takes me about 15 minutes to complete it, but I know there must be a way to make this an automatic process.
So a couple questions:
1) Is there a way to create an "enhanced multilink" with the 2 T1's and the Ethernet circuit in the same bundle, in effect giving me 23MBps bandwidth while still being able to maintain connectivity if one of the 3 links goes down? This is my preferred solution
and if 1 is not possible then
2) Is there a way to configure the router so if the Ethernet circuit goes down, all traffic will be automatically directed over the T1's, and then come back to the Ethernet when it's back online?

Can someone give me a sample router config (Cisco801) for the below scenario. I have one problem regarding a configuration (or setting up) of 3G SIM card for 887G router backup. That SIM card had a PIN code, so I disabled it, and now I can see that 3G light flashes Blue, so it detects 3G network. Also I can see that modem tries to dial up to connect to network, but with no luck. It has CHAP APN. Also in configuration I've found that there is PPP CHAP username and password, but I don't have any of those. I've tried to configure my SIM card with Username and Password, but it doesn't save. At the moment I have: Cellular 0 is down, line protocol is down. Dialer 2 is up (spoofing), line protocol is up (spoofing).
SIM card status is OK. Network detects O2 - IRL - yes.
It detects the network, but cannot connect to it. I'm not sure how to setup the SIM card or how to unlock it.

I'm looking for some documentation I can share with a customer to explain why I can't configure them a back-up sticky server farm when we're not terminating SSL on the the ACE (we pass SSL from the client through to the rservers, sticking the client to the rserver by source IP address). I've not been able to find anything that addresses this particular scenario in my googling so far. I remember discussing this in my training class with the instructor, but I can't find any reference to it. Have any of you run into this and have a link they can share?

QoS on an MFR interface/subinterfaces. We have a remote site with two bundled T1's terminating on a 2951 router for a total bandwidth of 3072. The circuit is provided by Paetec and the subinterfaces are designated for internet and MPLS traffic respectively. The issue we are facing is with outbound voice quality. It seems that no matter how we apply QoS, either to the main MFR interface or the MFR subinterfaces, voice packets do not seem to be prioritized. We tried FRTS, which slowed the entire link down to a crawl, we tried applying a class map to the main interface as well as a service policy, none of which seemed to affect anything.

how to configure a backup route to the internet. My client has 2 ISP and basically they want to use 1 ISP and in case the ISP fails, use the other one as backup route to the internet.
The problem I’m facing is that each ISP is plugged to a dedicated ASA 5510, so 1 ISP in one firewall and 1 in the other. Both ASA are plugged to an internal network in a dedicated VLAN with a L3 switch and that L3 switch manages the internal network.
My question is, how can I tell my switch to use ASA1 to go out to the internet and in case the ASA 1 OR THE LINK TO INTERNET used by ASA 1 fails, use ASA 2? It would be great if I can send traffic to the internet thru both connections at the same time. Also, I know the ASA has High Availability configuration, but that applies only if both licenses in the devices are the same and I have a mismatch with the SVPN license, and also I don't know if with my current topology I can use the High Availability model, so I think I can’t use that option and the solution must be applied in the L3 switch, but I don’t know how to tell it to use ASA1 and if failure of the device or the outside interface plugged to ISP 1, then use ASA2. Besides, I would like to know how to optimize this config to do the switch between internet connections seamless to the users if possible (there are VoIP calls on this floor, so I don't want to drop the calls).

I have two switch SG300-10 that need to be interconnect togheter with a simple redundant "cable fail safe" configuration.My idea is use the two uplink copper port of the first switch, connected to the two uplink copper port of the second switch.
How to create a working setup configuration? The first setup that i need, is with only one VLAN1 for all ports,
The second setup is with the VLAN1 assigned to the ports 1-2-3-4 of all the two switch, (linked togheter by uplink ports)
and the VLAN2 assigned to the ports 5-6-7-8 always linked togheter with the same uplink ports.
Is possible use the two uplink port at the same time, as cable fail safe? or use a uplink port 1 for the first group and the second uplink port for second group?
I need to use this configuration for audio cobranet transport, and i need to test the correct configuration for the primary and secondary audio stream, if can work togheter on the same VLAN or i need to separate the two stream, from start to the end.

I thought I saw a post/question in regards to "how to" configure a Broadband backup for a MPLS circuit.. What I am trying to do is use a cable/dsl/ broadband (secondary) connection as a backup to a MPLS circuit (primary). I have EIGRP and BGP configured on both the branch endpoint and the tunnel headend. The tunnel is used by the interface that connects to the secondary circuit. The branch location router is a 1841 and the "headend" tunnel router is a 3825. I am wondering about the configuration/syntax of a "weight" or static route that can be used to have data flow over the tunnel when the MPLS circuit goes down - and then switch back to the MPLS circuit when it comes back on line.

We are using CSS 11503 with one 16FE line card. We have connected 3 servers with redundant link. So FE1-2 in Server1, FE 3-4 in Server2 and FE5-6 in Server3. Our system team has configured APA in their servers as they are using HP-Ux.
1) Do we need to do any configuration at line card.
2) Do we need to do ether-channel at loadbalancer end. if yes, can you share me any cisco doc on how to do it.

I have a two fiber connection from our Central Office(6513) to Remote office (6509). I have a requirement that on the remote office if one of the fiber goes down, the second fiber should work as a failover. I am planning to use SUP720-3B SFP to connect to the CO.
Can I connet one fiber to Sup720-3b G5/1 & another fiber connection to G5/2? or Can I connet one fiber to Sup720-3b G5/1 & another fiber connection to G6/2? I am running EIGRP between sites. Any sample config.

Installation of 2 x 4 Mbps MPLS circuit on primary router (CISCO 2951) and 1 x 8 Mbps Ethernet link on secondary router (Cisco 2951). We have successfully implement the primary router with 2 x 4 Mbps MPLS circuit. Site is having two computer room CR1 and CR2 and distance between both room is 200mts. CR1 is having primary core router and primary core switch where the service provider terminated the new MPLS circuit and we have done the successful implementation. CR2 is having Secondary core router and secondary core switch where we needs to have the termination of Ethernet link but service provider has delivered the Ethernet link on the CR1 which is incorrect DMARC Location.
Both the computer rooms are connected via optical copper can we use that copper to connect the circuit on CR2, as per my understanding we can use the optical fiber to connect the wind circuit on secondary router on CR2 by using the media connector.

I periodically have my ISP's DNS go out. I actually prefer to use the default DNS they provide (and not hard-code it), but still, it occasionally goes-out for an hour from time-to-time.Is there a way on the DIR-825 to add a "backup" DNS (3rd DNS), that is fed to the PeeCees via DHCP, in addition to the 2 my ISP provides?

Basically we are having a Multicast setup. both A and B offices are being connected with STM-4 (622 Mbps) with IGP as OSPF. As of now everything is working well with this setup and no complaint .
Now since Primary link bandwidth is touching upto 622 Mbps we are planning to send some traffic to backup STM-4 link .
1) To send some unimportant (Traffic) Source IPs ( say 10.20.1.1 to 25 ) to backup link what would be best way to achieve it. Is it possible policy based routing ? does multicast support pbr?
2) When primary STM gets down and entire traffic shift to backup STM these IPs ( 10.20.1.1 to 25) should be given low priority on the backup link or traffic from these ips can be terminated.

I'm working on setting up a backup link for our ASA 5505 and I've followed these directions: [URL]
The backup ISP gives us a dynamic address, however, when I enable the backup ISP's interface on the ASA, my vpn tunnels drop. As soon as I disable the backup interface, the tunnels come back up. I'm attempting to configure this across one of these tunnels, so obviously this is an issue, as is the fact that other people need the tunnels as well. I'm not sure what I did to make this happen, but I've been over the config many times and can't see anything different from the instructions in the link above.
I thought it might be trying to route traffic across the backup interface, but my primary interface is tracked and has SLA running on it, so I would assume it wouldn't roll over onto the backup interface.

my question: is that applicable to register single A record with different real ip addresses? and also is the AnyConnect method the best solution for them?
note: i have single firewall 5520 behind the cable modems.

My requirment is to drop the Internet traffic once the Cisco HWIC 3G backup link will become active(attached) .Because I should allow only Business Critical Data allow through that and others should drop. Here are the config I used. In here I used a standard access list to generate intersting traffic which allow all the traffic traverse through the backup link.Can I drop the packets to the proxy (192.168.1.100) using this access list and allow other traffic.access-list 1 deny 192.168.1.100access-list 1 permit anydialer-list 1 protocol ip list 1.Is this the proper way I should follow ? We have 2 dsl lines coming in and the modem is in bridge mode while the router handles the pppoe information. Each line is 6mb down and .5 mb up. It's ****, yes I know, but this is pretty decent for a small town in the country. To double our bandwidth, I put it in load balance mode. When load balance, I get anywhere from 9-12 down and .8 up. Here's where it gets tricky.
When anything is uploaded, the speed drops from 9-12 down and .8 up to about .2-.7 down and .2 up. I realize that we will lose some down and up speed but I wouldn't think it would be this drastic. Is this normal?When they upload to a specific https site (file is about 50mb), it never initiates the upload. If I switch it to Link Backup, it will upload fine. I still lose the speed but at least it does something. I've read that some https sites have issues with grabbing data from multiple IP's so I figured this is the case since it's a medical site that was probably developed in house. Is this true?Does protocol binding work in Load Balance mode? I binded all http and https traffic through WAN 2 interface however, when I do a speed test or check my external IP, it is not indicating the WAN 2 IP address. Is this a common issue in rv042's or is there a firmware update that solves all these issues?
