View 1 RepliesOn one of my computer i'm having multiple issues. when I am on most websites it pops up " TypeError: object unexpected" or just "object unexpected" and I have to refresh the page for them to go away, but if I hit the back button or go to another section of the web page they pop back up. The same computer is now having connection issues and only has "unidentified network no internet access" as the only option, and after everything I have tried it will not budge on the wifi.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm having an issue with port-security on a cisco 2950 switch. The port-security is setup to user sticky mac-addresses and was working just fine. Recently when a computer was changed out and I needed to clear the security on the port it wouldn't let me.I would type clear port-security sticky int fa0/## and it would give me an error. The error would be that the sticky command doesn't exist. So I went back and type clear port-security ? and the only option was dynamic. Even if I try to take the port security off the switch it wont let me, it never shows the option for sticky. If I change the maximum number of mac-addresses allow the computer will work, but I can never clear the old addresses out.

View 1 Replies View RelatedDoes the ASA treat an object-group with a network-object containing a range of IP addresses as a netmask? For example, I can apply this configuration without the ASA throwing any errors though the configuration calls for a 'net mask':
object-group network test
network-object 192.168.0.0 192.168.63.255
?
network-object-group mode commands/options:
A.B.C.D Enter an IPv4 network mask
sh run ob id test
object-group network test
network-object 192.168.0.0 192.168.63.255
I found that in the documentation it requires a netmask as oppose to a range. Is this a bug in the code? I am running code version 8.0(5)23 on a 5520. If this is not a bug how does the ASA treat this type of configuration when applied to an access list? When I ran a quick packet trace and denied access from that range it looks like the ASA doesn't read that configuration properly.
I have just upgraded one of our 4400 to 7.0.98.0. Most of the AP re-registered with out issues. I have two AIR-LAP1142N-E-K9 on a remote site that will not re-register.I have pointed them to another 2125 WLC (7.0.98.0) and they register fine. Point them to yet another 4400 (7.0.98.0) I get the same issue.I am getting this error when the register on the 4400s.*Jan 11 14:39:24.000: %CAPWAP-3-ERRORLOG: Selected MWAR 'abzewwlc'(index 1).*Jan 11 14:39:24.000: %CAPWAP-3-ERRORLOG: Go join a capwap controller *Jan 11 07:05:55.000: %CAPWAP-5-DTLSREQSEND: DTLS connection request sent peer_ip: 144.46.211.5 peer_port: 5246*Jan 11 07:06:55.000: %DTLS-5-SEND_ALERT: Send FATAL : Close notify Alert to 144.46.211.5:5246 I suspect it may be as they both have In the client config. Then again maybe not.Configured Switch 1 Addr 158.139.177.203Configured Switch 2 Addr 144.46.214.25
Question 1 if I do a "clear config except static IP" will I still be able to telnet tp them or will they default to no telnet no ssh ?
Question 2 any idea how to get past this DTLS error ?
I've got a LAN set up with a server and printer, no internet connectivity to it. When I need to access the internet, I connect through a wireless hotspot. The only problem is that I have to unplug the ethernet from my LAN connection for the wireless to work.Is there a way to have both connections coexist, so that when I need to print something or access a file on my server I can do so without it interfering with my internet connection?

I am brand new to Cisco products so it is taking me a while to get use to them and to TelNet but from what I have read in about 6 different manuals none have explained how I can access the configure terminal command when It doesn't show up. I am in privileged mode with access of: AP001c.588e.a266#show privilege. Current privilege level is 15.If I can't get into global configuration mode I cant enable the GUI, turn on the wireless.

Will I need to downgrade the router IOS to 12.4?Additionally I'm having trouble finding an answer to the following:Is there a way to set up the embedded AP on the same network as the Data VLAN on the router, or do I need to create a separate IP network for the embedded AP? I've tried using 'ip unnumbered vlan10' (vlan10 is the data vlan) on the wlan-ap0 interface but then when I try opening a session to the AP it doesn't connect.

View 7 Replies View RelatedEveryone speaks about video and music streaming, however I am under the understanding that there isint actually any such thing as legitimate real time streaming, ALL files are saved to the disk or the RAM. If this was not the case, disrupting your Internet connection would cause an instantaneous crash of the streaming media, and well, I have had my Internet crash a lot of times while viewing streaming median and in every case it continued to play for some time.

View 2 Replies View Relatedso far i also knew that if u assign an access-list to an interface:
for example:
int vlan1
ip access-group 150 in
and the access-list does not exist in the configuration it will block everything meaning it will be an implicit deny empty access-list but lately i've noticed on new routers that its different,if i assign an acl to an interface where the acl doesnt exist in the configuration it acts as permit all,
I know my Modem/router is old but I am connecting okay to the internet with my laptop, the thing is my husband has just bought a Google Nexus Tablet and although it finds my Belkin Modem (model F5D7632-4) it says it's finding IP address, then says its saved and then connecting, but it dont connect. Also there is no security on it and it wont find my model number to add the security, is it me or what?

I have created a VPN client account on my RVS4000 router. I have installed Quick VPN on my laptop in the default directory -- Program Files (x86) / Cisco Small Business / Quick VPN Client
I have generated and exported a certificate -- RVS4000_Client.pem -- and placed that in the Program Files (x86) / Cisco Small Business / Quick VPN Client directory. When I attempt to connect using the Quick VPN client, I get the warning "Server's certificate doesn't exist on your local computer."
If I ignore the message I can log in, and ping resources inside the network and log into the router. However, I cannot mount any drives and the router shows that no VPN tunnels exist. I've read several posts here and elsewhere and can't seem to see where I've gone wrong.
Let me try to give as much info as I can to start. Running Windows 7 64bit Ultimate have all updates as of 01-16-2012. Recently had some malware that I removed not sure if there is a correlation. I am trying to connect my wireless connection on my pc to a router to run xbox and BD player. So I connect to my wireless network have my network card plugged into my router, connected to both networks. I go to properties on wireless connection click sharing tab check allow other network users to connect to the internet through this computer connection, also checked allow other network users to control or disable the shared internet connection. I click ok and get a error window that says in the title bar Network Connections the body of the window says, "An error occurred while Internet Connection Sharing was being enabled. The dependency service does not exist or has been marked for deletion. I looked through services and device manager in non pnp drivers everything looks right to me... I am not super familiar with networking issues so I may have missed or overlooked something easily.

View 3 Replies View RelatedAccording to product bulletin no 3209 for the Cisco 4400 series, the Access Point supports 802.11e WMM.
My question goes to DSCP mapping, according to IEEE and your bulletin the DSCP field in the IP header should be set to 46 (10110 00) for mapping to a 802.11 QoS voice priority 6/7.But my Wireshark trace revealed 4400N is mapping toward with 802.11 QoS is set to Priority 5 Video.
If I google DSCP mapping toward 802.11 QoS all IEEE documention I found says EF /Voice should have 46 or 101xxx in the DSCP IP field but running through Cisco and HP docs gives 46 or 48 as value, that is the correct value. [code]
We have 4 x 4xxx WLCs setup in our Core. I just created an AP group in one of WLC and in theory I should see that AP group in the other 3 x WLCs
For some reason, I do not see that AP group appear in other 3 x WLCs. Very much appreciated if someone could point me to the right information or trouble shooting steps.
I posted a few days ago but don't have a good response. I've dig high and low and haven't come across a solution yet. I've been trying to get a customized web Authentication typed. I didn't need a user name or password to get through. All I need is a web pass through and an accept button at the end of the HTML agreement policy or splash page.
I was able to create a log in.HTML and download to the wireless controller, but my problem is how would I get an agree button and when a user click on it and it would redirect to a website. I've followed the following link but no luck. {URL}. the link doesn't tell me weather I should create an accept button manually or is there a setting on the controller that need to check? the link also provide some info. about: Configure Client Machine for Web Pass through, but where should I download the Cisco Aironet Desktop Utility? I've download ACUv502005.exe file for my windows 7 but after the installation it didn't work for me. if you know how to configure the web-pass through. I been working for this for a week now and didn't find the info. that I was looking for.
