View 1 RepliesI just set up my 655 and it hooked up to the internet right away. I also connected my x box and wi-fy iphone without a hitch. THen I tried to connect my blue ray player that has a wireless feature. My last dlink router recognized the blue ray without a problem. With the 655, the blue ray can see my router and network, but can't connect, saying their is a dchp issue or I need to fix the IP address. Dlink support told me to upgrade firmware but my version is 2.0, and the only thing I can find is a V1.34.

View 1 Replies View Relatedhow is calculated heat dissipation of ethernet modules for c6500? For example, heat dissipation of WS-X6908-10G-2T - 2083.32 BTU/hour.. This heat dissipation of the empty module, without transceivers? Or including all installed transceivers?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI am trying to figure out what is heat dissipation of a C6509-E configured as follows:
1 x WS-C6509-E-FAN
1 x VS-S720-10G-3C
1 x VS-F6K-PFC3C
8 x WS-X6748-GE-TX
8 x WS-F6700-DFC3C
2 x WS-CAC-6000W
I have tried two ways: 1) the power calculator and 2) manual calculation using the C6500 installation guide.
1) The power calculator says 13630 BTU/h
2) Manual calculation says: [code]
The there should be also the two PS in the picture, and the new total should be: [code] Well, 62711 BTU/h looks quite a bit too much and I think that the heat dissipation of the power supply should't be considered in the calculation.Isn't it an item that takes power from the grid and that generates heat according to its efficiency as the other modules?
Is there any commands to know the Current Heat Dissipation of high end routers and switches 7600,6500? Even though we can calculate thro. corresponding calculators, i eager to know is there any commands to do that?

I would like to get it clarified, that Cisco WLC 2504 running the code ( 7.2.110.0 ) does support IPv6 or not ?
From Cisco Documents they are asking to enable IPv6 support under WLAN > Edit Page, and Enabling mulicast on Ethernet Multicast Mode under Controller > General.
But from the GUI am not able to find the above two field, Even in Interface i created under Controller > interface is not accepting IPv6 address. I am able to configure IPv6 ACL .
Is any deployment document is available to show different scenarios with configuration.
