View 6 Replies View RelatedI have been searching but unfortunately not successful in finding appropriate documentation on how to configure the ASA such that a user using AnyConnect SSL VPN client is prompted for their username + AD credentials + RSA SecurID token (all three must be presented/entered by the user) in separate fields before the VPN tunnel is established. On latest version of AnyConnect (3.1) and ASA version 9.x on 5500-X.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWe are using an ASA 5510 and remote access (SSL VPN) using the AnyConnect client.
Is it possible to display a user message when a user connects using the AnyConnect client, matching a specific dynamic access policy? Can the message be displayed when the action is "Continue" rather than "Terminate"? I can't seem to get this to work and wondered if there was a LUA function to do this.
We have a DAP which gives a restricted ACL when the user's anti-virus is out of date, and I wanted to notify the user to update their anti-virus and reconnect.
I want to create a local user in my Cisco ASA 5520 to allow the user to use the ASDM in Read-Only mode. I want the user to view the Dashboard only.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI am trying to find a tool that will monitor the web traffic for one specific user. If it is capable of bundling it into a report that would also be a benefit. I have searched, but not come up with much aside from broad network monitoring tools. All that is really needed is to capture all the activity from http traffic for this one specific user/PC (since she uses the same PC all the time). We have a Sonicwall NSA 2400 as our internet filter, but I was not able to locate anything on there for specific user reporting.

home users ------ internet ------ ASA 5510----- CORP LAN
we have anyconnect VPN and remote Ipsec VPN, i think the solution should works on both of them. my question is : "How to enforce home user internet traffic to VPN tunnel ?" we have "split tunnel" to pass only ""interesting traffic" to VPN tunnel access CORP LAN. but now , i need enforce all user traffic (internet +CORP LAN) pass through VPN tunnel. so far , i did what i know :
1. remove "split tunnle" from group-policy
2. the address in "remote VPN user address pool" are could be NAT/PAT through ASA5510
but i don't get that why it doesn't work.
Actually i have a design from my customer who have ( Cisco core switch 3750 (allports fiber ports) which is connected to L2 switches , these switches carry servers and end users .the only routing protocol on the access switches is static route ,
My question how can i route the traffic from the server to the end user , as the the server is not direct connect to the core switch.
I make qos on VPN Tunnel, but i make command service-policy output name, it show the error below Traffic Shaping feature is not supported in user defined class of parent level policy. My cisco router 1921, IOS : c1900-universalk9-mz.SPA.150-1.M5.bin

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a WLC 2106 and 1242AG.it's a hotspot configuration. So in WLC, under controller tab, i have set my ap-manager ip, my management ip, my virtual ip (1.1.1.1) and my hotspot network range ip.I set also a DHCP range for the hotspot network.
In Wlans tab, i set my hotspot wlan, with no layer 2 security and for layer 3, i set none for layer 3 security and i use web policy authentication.I use local authentication and i created under security menu, under AAA tab, 3 local net users.
From pc number 1, i get ip from dhcp, and i have authentication web page, authentication is ok and i can surf on web. From pc number2, when user 1 from pc 1 is connected, i get ip from dhcp but i have not the authentication web page, i have not DNS resolution.when i try https:1.1.1.1/login.html, i have no answer.
And when user 1 is de-authenticated, the user 2 can surf on web.So only one user can surf at the same time. not good for a Hotspot.
I want to create Password and user name of my wireless. so how can I do it?

View 3 Replies View RelatedWe have just bought 4 WAP4410N. These units will be handling wireless network at the edge of our network, only allowing for Internet access. We will be creating two SSID's, one for employees and another for guests, with different wireless password rotation policies, intended to be changed automatically by an application using SSH.Is it possible in any way to create another SSH user just for this purpose? I do feel unconfortable using the management user for this (call it paranoia!). The same with having SSH accessible from the wireless end. Any way I can tweak sshd and having it persist between reboots? Also, another issue is that we have the AP's configured for e-mailing the log however we don't receive it. Connectivity and sending has been tested with snmpc on console and everything seems to be OK.

One of our customers have one Cisco WLC 2100 (firmware 5.2) with 4 AP Mesh 1522, in a city deployment. In order to achieve local regulatory, has to implement bandwidth limitations per user.
I got screen captures of WLC QoS Profiles options, with Average Data Rate in Per-User Bandwidth Contracts. So my question is, do I need any other equipment to achieve per user bandwidth limitation? Can it be done with WLC QoS options?
I have a user authentication issue with our WLAN deployment. My issue relates to the guest access WLAN. First a brief descrition of our setup. We have a local WLC in the branch office (5508) with two SSIDs configured, CorpNet for the internal network and GuestNet of external guest access. We also have a WLC (5508) in the DMZ to provide the guest access. We are using Cisco ISE server to authenticate guest users via a web portal.
The authentication process works as it should. An external client gets an IP in the DMZ and is redirected to the web portal to authenticate their account. When they do they are able to access and browse the internet. No problems. My issue is that if we disable their account (ie suspend or delete it) in ISE it does not seem to terminate the users session and they can continue to have internet access. What I would like to happen is that when the account is disabled in ISE then the associated device's access to the internet is removed.

Until a few months ago everything was working fine and then the problems started: my son could no longer connect on the internet with Explorer and Google Chrome but I managed to connect it via Firefox. And it worked until yesterday. As of yesterday he can no longer connect to the internet even with Firefox. I tried again as an administrator to reinstall Google Chrome, but the icon is shown only on my user account. I took a completely new browser - Opera, but fails to connect. When I go to Diagnose & Repair connection problems - shows no problems. On my account everything is working properly. OS is Windows Vista Home Premium
