Upon checking the logs, I'm seeing a lot of these messages:

Always the same MAC address, which I assume is a Cisco AP trying to join. The output interpreter/message decoder isn't much useful. 5508 Controller running ver 7.3.101.0.
We inserted GLC-T modules and on Nexus 5548 they are showing SFP validation Failed , as per Cisco doc GLC-T is support . Since we have 28 such modules and all after inserting showing same error. please see the below details. I also try configuring speed and inserting modules but no result ..let me know whether my GLC-T module is supported on Nexus 5548

Whenever I try to goto a webpage within any browser,despite me being connected to my network(though 1 received packet to every 20 or so sent packet ratio) it tells me that DNS lookup failed. I had a similar issue on my other pc that I use more often,though connecting through WIFI momentarily resolved the issue,before I returning to wired,where everything has been fine. My other pc however has no wifi adapter. So ive been stuck.

The error message I receive is" Download failed(12007) The sever name or address could not be resolved" I am running windows 7. Hooked up to att uverse. My laptop is working as you can see by sending this message. I have been trying to fix this problem for the last 2 days to no avail. I uninstalled norton hoping it was a firewall problem. On the local area connection it shows IPV4 connedtivety: No Network access.

Problem is the same as recent posts by jerguy1928, with message "DNS lookup failed...." coming up in Google Chrome. Both IE and FF just say cannot connect.Running Windows 7 on laptop. I have tried alt DNS settings (Google and others), all the CMD suggestions, disabling firewalls etc, etc! Other computer in house connects just fine.Ping works fine. Really, there appears to be no reason to not be able to connect - since I am actually connected!
View 13 Replies View RelatedI am running a guest wireless network on a Cisco 5508 WLC with 6.0.202.0 code. My syslog is filling up with the following error message:
WLC: *May 15 12:32:59.244: %AAA-3-VALIDATE_GUEST_SESSION_FAILED: file_db.c:3968 Guest user session validation failed for guest_user10. Index provided is out of range..
The user that is assigned to the guest_user10 account works fine and has no idea this error is occurring.
This error message is occuring exactly every 15 minutes 24x7.
I believe I have a rogue user who has setup a device to try and login to the guest network automatically, every 15 minutes with the guest_user10 credentials. I need to track this device down. I need a way to find either the MAC or IP address of the device that is causing this error message. I have tried turning on AAA debugging on the controller but I dont get anything more than the above error. I have also tried using WCS to look at the client history but it only show the normal activity.
Network Resources - Network Devices and AAA Clients- File Operations - Add - gives me File Format Validation Faliled. I am carefull to leave the header as it is. The header in the Import Template looks faulty, see attached. When exporting devices I also get the same header as attached. I also tried to change the header so its all in one column, but with same result.

"OLE initialization failed. Make sure that the OLE libraries are the correct version."

View 1 Replies View RelatedI purchased a WRT110 wireless router several weeks ago. Used it with my WPC55AG with no problems at all. I liked the wireless-N, so I decided to upgrade to a wireless-N notebook card and purchased a WPC100. I can always connect to the router with 100% signal strength. However, when trying to access the Internet, sometimes I can connect to websites, but I regularly get an error message that Internet Explorer cannot connect to the internet, even though the signal strength is still 100%.
Tried going back to my WPC55AG and do not get any connection error messages. Tried connecting to my router with my PSP and do not get any connection error messages. Connected to another wireless router that didn't have WPA or WEP using my WPC100 and didn't get any connection error messages..
My wireless internet has been working perfectly well on my XPS 17 (L701X) until last weeky. I was on the internet and then my wireless turned off suddenly. the error message says "turn wireless capability on". BUt on the wardware, the witch is on, but when I check windown mobility center, it shows "wireless off" . Ran network diagnostics, but same error massage "turn wireless capability on". For now, when it happens, I need to restart my computer and it back to nomal. This happens at least 3-4 times a day.

On 4500, there is default route point to the ASA DMZ interface Issue, server on vlan 100 cannot ping a server on Vlan 1, vice verse. I can print successfully from either my desktop (which is connected direct to the D Link router) or either of my laptops (wireless). However, when I select the double-sided print option I get a print error message after re-inserting the odd number pages to print the other side of the paper and then click 'continue'.Could I resolve this by connecting the printer both direct to the desktop using USB AND leaving it connected via the wireless TP Link print server? This would enable me to print double-sided from my desktop (as I did before when the printer was only connected via the USB desktop port).

I enter the key and hit connect again, it comes up with the 'Connecting' pop-up and then loops back to the Available Networks screen again.There are no error messages, it just goes back to the starting screen and it hasnt connected.The Laptop in question is a Lenovo T60 with a Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG card.The router is a TP-Link TD-W8960N.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI recently bought the E2500 Router and I am using the EA2500 Adapter with it . I have this set-up on 2 Desktop PC's . 1 Pc is working just fine with this set-up . The other keeps giving me an Error message of "Invalid Key Manual" . What does this mean ? The adapter is working because it does find the Router as a usable connection . It just isn't able to connect to it and keeps giving me the same Error message .
View 8 Replies View RelatedMy WRT54G router is already feeding 2 wireless PC's with no problem. Haven't been as successful getting my new Samsung Series 7 TV wireless connection working. The TV screen prompts for a 'security key', but once entered, tells me the connection is unsuccessful. The TV does not provide any specific error message - just tells me to re-enter the security key and/or re-start the router (which I have done many times with no success). I am entering the 'Encryption key' from the WRT54G router when prompted by the Samsung TV for the 'security key'.

I am using a Virgin media branded router in 'modem mode', this would not cause issues.
I did not do anything to change anything, I went to add an additional port to forward and it didn't work.

After it stopped forwarding, I upgraded firmware to: 3.13.26 Build 130129 Rel.59449n.

The RPS fan failed refers to RPS2300 or the internal power supply of 3750E? Even when I turned on the RPS2300 the stacked switch still display the messages. Also I have two RPS2300 serving stack master and stack member respectively both RPS2300 were switched off why the messages only refer to Switch-2 and not Switch-1? [code]
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Netgear WNR612 wireless router, which worked fine for a few weeks. Then something happened and I can't keep the connection anymore. It happened right after I used iTunes to update my iPhone, perhaps a coincidence, but I'm mentioning that just in case. Internet still works fine with ethernet cable straight from the computer, only the wireless connection doesn't work. This happened about a month ago and I haven't been at home much to fix the problem. I have turned off and unplugged everything for several days at a time while gone. I get a Network Error message saying, Windows has detected an IP address conflict. I have tried restoring the router back to factory settings and reinstalling the wireless card. I have tried changing the IP address settings both in the Network and Sharing Center and the router admin page. What I think I should do is change the IP address in Command Prompt, but when I type "ipconfig /release", it says "No operation can be performed on Wireless Network Connection 2 while it has its media disconnected" and the same for Local Area Connection. I don't understand what this means, because there is a wireless key in my keyboard and there is a white light (not orange) like there should be. Also in the Network and Sharing Center, I can see that the connections are enabled.

So once the power came back on, literally like 5 minutes later, I rebooted my PC and have had Wireless issues ever since. My PC is custom built with a Netgear WG311V3 PCI Wireless card in it. When I boot up, it tells me I am connectied to our wireless network, but no websites will load. I check for wireless networks but my PC tells me none are in range. I have had this issue before so I goto Network Connections and Disable Wireless Network Connection 2, my wireless card, and then when I goto Enable it I get this error: Connection Failed.
