I have a client that needs to update a certificate on their 2125 controller. They have created a .pfx cert that does not work because of file type. I wanted to see what the best pratice would be for me to follow installing this cert and do I need any additional cert like a CA. I found a document but am not so sure that it is exactly what I need.

I have cable internet with a wireless router. My home computer/internet works fine My second computer connected via wireless was recently infected with a virus and I had to do a complete system restore. Since doing that, I cannot establish a connection. My computer can find the wireless connections and the wireless network connection shows enabled show that it but no IP address. If I repair, I get the error message "TCP/IP is not enabled". I tried enabling, reinstalling, I have tried every suggestion on this topic that I have found in other forums (running command, etc).
We would like to install a wireless network throughout the station. Currently we have a wired network with 15 PC's and are looking at obtaining tablets for our squads and apparatus. The station is quite large and is divided by the vehicle bays.I'm thinking that we will need multiple access points throughout the station. I am familiar with setting up one wireless router but not with multiple access points.
I have a wireless set up at home and recently had to replace my DSL modem (due to my cat knocking over my coffee cup and spilling coffee on my old modem) I have managed to connect to the internet directly through the modem, but want to connect wireless. I recently inherited an old D630 laptop. I have just formatted the drive, and installed Windows XP (SP1, then upgraded to SP3) onto it. I have not been able to connect to my wireless network.I have downloaded and installed the drivers and installed in the recommended order. Issue is that I cannot get a dynamic IP address issued to me. It says I am on the network, but the only packets are outgoing. I have been trying to sort this for the last 2 days, and the laptop is close to being chucked out of the window.my wireless card is intel pro wireless 3945abg?

I recently re-installed Vista and while attempting to set up a wired network, I can't locate the wizard.I only need to set up two PCs. Is there a way to set up a network without it or is there a way to re-install the wizard. My service is Xfinity cable internet, a net gear router (5 port 10/100 Mbps FS605 v3).My pc is a HP s3700y 32-bit, the other is a dell running XP pro. I used to have these two networked when I was with Att, but with this new service I wanted to wipe the HP clean. Now I can't find the wizard, all equipment is operating properly.Have ran several checks.

I have tried everything to install my broadcom driver with no luck . My chipset driver has two identicle drivers in device manager. Are they supposed to be there twice? I have downloaded it and it looks like it installs but it never makes it to device manager? It will not install directly fron device manager. It is the only driver that will not install. I already know the chipset driver goes first.
I am working on upgrading the network at my office and wiring another space and connecting them together. I have purchased two dlink dgs-1024d 24 port gigabit switch. I have both attached to a gigabit router. I have everything working except that the switch connected to the new wiring is only working at 100m. Every computer says they are only connected at 100m. The switch connected to the pre-existing wiring is all working at 1 gig. The old wiring is only cat5 and all the new wiring is cat5e. Here is the link to the cat5e that I used. [UR:]. why my network is only operating at 100m. I have tried short several short cables connected to the switch and still cannot get 1gig.

I cannot install the drivers for my TrendNet TEW-423PI network interface card. I am running Windows 7 64-bit with an Intel i7 2700k and an Asus motherboard. I have tried installing with the card already in the computer - no luck. Card out of the computer install and then shut off and put in - no luck. The instructions that come with the card say that after you install the program that instantly runs from the CD provided you should shut off the computer and install the card and when you turn the computer back on the drivers will install automatically. It has failed to do so and although I pulled all possible drivers from TrendNet's site it still stubbornly refuses to even recognize that there are drivers for it to install.
