what command will show the clock rate as received on the DTE side of a back-to-back configuration?the show controllers command shows the configured clock rate on the DCE side.But how about viewing the received clock rate on the DTE side?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have configured a vlan interface on a 3750 switch. there is aprox 4Mb active traffic flowing through the interface, but when I do a "show interface vlan (vlanid)" the output show zero bits in and zero bits out. Its a typical L3 config with one IP on the vllan interface acting as the gateway for the VLAN devices. Is this a normal behaviur ? and if so is there any way to get the traffic in/out stats. The end PC/devices are connected to this switch via an L2 TRUNK and I dont have access to the L2 switch on which the actual devices connect. so cant get the real time stats of those interfaces.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to setup an ASA and a UC540 side by side, to utilize the ASA for data networking and the UC540 for voice. This 'should' work fine, I just seem to be having an issue where the ASA seems to be blocking traffic from the voice network as it passes through.So here is the LAN setup:ASA: 1.1.1.1UC540: 1.1.1.2The UC has a voice vlan 10.1.1.1/24 and a service module at 10.1.10.1/30My PC uses the ASA as its default gateway, 1.1.1.1The ASA then has static routes to the UC networksRoute 10.1.1.1/24 1.1.1.2Route 10.1.10.1/30 1.1.1.2Ping from PC to the UC networks works fine. However, ping from the UC networks to PC fails. ASA logs show traffic being denied due to not having an established connection or something.My guess is that the traffic is being blocked because the egress and ingress paths are different? Traffic from the PC goes to the ASA, then gets routed to the UC and it works. However in the other direction, traffic from the UC is going directly to the PC and bypassing the ASA, because its a directly connected network and doesn't have to route through the ASA to get to the PC. The reply traffic from the PC DOES go through the ASA following its route table, thus the issue of the ASA not seeing the established connection?Same-security inter and intra interface is enabled.So I think I see the issue, I just don't know how to fix it. Is there something I can configure on the ASA to allow for this? My only other option would be to configure a /30 on a new vlan to handle the routing between the UC and ASA or something, but that seems like its going to make this simple setup way too complicated with extra networks, vlans, trunks, etc.I am running ASA version 8.4.5?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a 2811 that I'm in the process of turning-up to support a 4xT1 using VWIC-2MFT-T1's. The question is how to "correctly" set clocking on the MFT's.
As is typical of the 2MFT's, as soon as a 2nd T-1 on a VWIC-2MFT comes up, I start taking "Slip Sec"s on the 2nd T-1. I have tried different clock source combinations, including "clock source line primary", various "network-clock-participate" (or not) combinations, and about a dozen other stab-in-the-dark configurations. Before I started playing with it, the slips were consistently every 9 seconds. After playing with it, I got them to every 18 seconds. But there shouldn't be ANY. So the question is what SHOULD the correct timing configuration be on that platform?
The VWIC-2MFT-T1's are in slots 1 and 3, so the controllers involved are 0/1/0, 0/1/1, 0/3/0 and 0/3/1.
What happens with the sip phone 3905, because i cant set the rigth clock. its always display plus 2 hours from the right time in Brazil.

I have noticed in some case, i lose connectivity between ACS and AD and when i say test connection , it shows clock skew error . Reboot of ACS sometimes solves the issue, else it comes up automatically after some hours . In core switch , i have configured time as PST +4 and in ACS it is configured as PST +4 , which automatically goes to GST.
View 15 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to get an HP laptop running Win7 to see a desktop running WinXP on my network (both wired and wireless) When I run the troubleshooter in Win7, it tells me "system clock does not match local time" as the reason. I have a Belkin wireless router attached to my cable router. I have updated the system clock via the internet on the desktop and checked the time setting in BIOS. These seem to match. I have googled around on this and can't find any accounts similar. My son's Vista laptop and the Win7 laptop have seen each other since day one. The laptop and desktop did see each other at one time, but the connection was lost after I went to a hotel and changed public network settings temporarily. I can ping the desktop from the laptop, but it times out when pinging the laptop from the desktop. I'm running an avast firewall on both, but can't see a problem there.

View 4 Replies View RelatedWhen I'm on a fresh boot on my laptop (full shutdown then starting back up) my wifi connects just fine....perfect.However, when I close the screen (its a laptop) and it goes into standby...when I wake it up again my wifi icon by the clock shows that its still obtaining an IP address or whatever (little yellow dot bouncing back and forth over the icon)....The icon will stay like this until the next time I reset the computer....but the entire time my wifi works as it should....its just the icon thats being weird.

Like I said...everything is working as it should..Its done this since I've done the fresh install of Windows, so it has nothing to do with any software I've installed or any of the updates.
I have a situation where i am installing SGE2000Ps to replace my old switches and configuring VLANS. The time clock will not communicate across the VLANS. If I unplug the network cable and plug it back in I will get two successful pings. If i use a PC configured with the same network settings as the time clock and plug it into the port for the time clock it communicates fine.

Recently bring up a new Router connected to ISP A and the Netflow collector/server is located in different location and they are connected to ISP B. I have enabled snmp and netflow config on my router(2911) but not receiving the netflow packets are not reaching the server for due to some strange reason whereas other packets like ICMP for snmp are reaching the netflow collector.Finally,I created GRE tunnel between the two locations routers and set the route for the netflow collector/server to the tunnel other end IP. In this way the netflow traffic are reaching successfully to the server.

I'm sure there are no downloads taking place that I'm aware of. No torrent clients, no antivirus nothing. I checked my PC for malware but that didn't work.
