I have a wireless Linksys E1500 router, and for quite a few months now, my router just stopped working properly. It quit, I unplugged everything and plugged it back in, and it worked, but from that point on, it's been displaying this:

I'm trying to connect to my home laptop from work. The home laptop is connected to DIR-655 router. I set up the internal and external ports to 3389 using both TCP and UDP protocols with the Application as "Remote Desktop". From my work PC I enter the external IP with :3389 and it fails to connect. I have also tried accessing internally which is failing too. All computers are running Windows 7 Home Premium Remote Access is enable on all.
I just bought the e1000 router today and I'm already having trouble. I got it setup the first time and all my computers set up with it and it works fine for internet. Everything is snappy and responsive and I don't have any of the problems I did with my old belkin. However, I am unable to connect to the router using cisco connect or the web interface. I need to forward ports, configure wireless security, etc etc. All I did was disable the guest account through cisco connect, and then when the software just sat there doing nothing with the spinning circle in the middle, I opened task manager and killed the process to get it to go away. Now I can't connect using either cisco connect or the web interface.
I got a problem when I use WLC 5508 connect to LDAP for authentication, but no luck there, it's a simple config, but not easy to work on my job, I got the following messgae. [code]
Recently I installed connectify because my uni flat only had one wired outlet, and I wanted to use my xbox at the same time. It worked perfectly, but when I returned home I found my laptop could no longer connect to the home network, it just says it cannot connect, but all the over devices in the house work. My laptop can still connect to the internet via an ethernet cable but this isnt practical at home. I've uninstalled the connectify program, and tried my best to make sure I got rid of all the stuff it's done, but still my problem persists
I'm connected to a wifi at home on my cellphone, says signal status is excellent, 54mbps, wpa psk security but I cannot connect to the network. My desktop pc is connected via ethernet and it is working. I tried connecting to a neighbor's wifi and it worked on the same cellphone. WLAN light is flashing, the rest are solid. I have a prolink adsl router.

I have just built a PC desktop and do not think it has the wireless built-in on the motherboard. I'd like to connect to the local network wirelessly. I know that the easiest answer to this is to get a wireless PCI card. But can I ask that in order to be able to access to the LAN wirelessly, I could plug my PC directly into the wireless access point TP-Link.
For some reason, I can see the wireless connections on my laptop but not on my Dell Computer. When ever I try to connect on my computer i see no wireless connections at all, i have A wireless USB adapter that use to be on put in the back and recieved wireless connections in the past but now it doesnt, I try the front ports, and nothing works except for one, but that one port doesnt work for some reason, the same thing happens, no connection at all.
I have just moved in to a basement apartment and can connect to the internet with my wireless but not with the ethernet cord ran downstairs for me. The other computers upstairs work fine on ethernet through the same router. I do not understand what the problem could be. here are my configs:

At first I can connect to Internet for 1 min and fails afterwards even if I reconnect to the router. Then I turn on the Access Control settings on my (NETGEAR) router and put my laptop into the trusted wireless stations list, now it can connect to Internet for 1 min and fails however it works for another 1 min if i reconnect to the router. So now I need to reconnect to the router every minute or so.I can connect to the Internet via Ethernet cables, so I am quite sure it's the wireless problem on my router but not the service provider's fault.
I can't seem to connect my laptop using my ethernet cable, but I'm able to connect it to the Internet using my wireless connection. Whenever I plug in the cable, my computer tells me that the LAN connection is connected, but I can't open a web page. I tried connecting the cable onto another laptop and it worked, so I don't know what's up with the LAN connection on mine.

My hard drive will not boot Windows XP. I installed XP with service pack 2 on another drive, but when booting from the new drive, the pc will not connect to the Internet thru my DSL modem and wired router. This happened to me two years ago, but I forgot the trick to make it connect.
I can't seem to connect to my Windows 7 pc from my Win XP Pro laptop or any other PC using VPN.I have tried disabling all firewalls and set a reserved IP in my router for my home PC and even put it in the DMZ but i stil get error messages that the pc is not accessable.I can connect using Windows Remote Desktop and Tight VNC.I set up a DYdns account and it works just fine with the above connections from outside my LAN. All my PCs use the same user name and password and all have no problems with file sharing. I am set as administrator and accept remote connections is checked. All boxes are checked in network settings and I am listed as an allowed user.I have been a pc tech for 10 years and have never been so stumped with a problem.

-IP of GNS3 PC on which GNS3 is installed. 192.168.1.102/24 default gateway of LAN: 192.168.1.1/24
I have created a loopback adapter and assigned the IP address of 192.168.1.200/24 (IP is also of same LAN) the cloud and virtual router is dragged and router interface is assigned the IP 192.168.1.201/24. I'm trying to set up a VPN connection between two Windows 7 machines (A laptop running 32-bit and a my home computer running 64-bit). By setting up a new incomming connection on my home computer and forwarding port 1723 (TCP) to the IP (static on home network), I'm able to connect using my iPhone (either over 3G or a WiFi hotspot). It should then seem that my server settings are working. Now, when trying to connect using my laptop it won't work. I use "set up new network connection" -> "Connect to workplace/VPN" in "Network and Sharing Center". When trying PPTP, a window pops up asking me to re-type username and password. I use the same credentials as logging in at my home computer (and the same as I've configured on my iPhone), but the server won't accept them. When right-clicking the VPN connection in "Network and Sharing Center", I can go to properties. But I do not know which combination of settings to choose. I don't believe it should be this hard though, when both client and server are configured automatically by the same OS.
I have an HP Pavilion a1600n PC with Windows XP, and the computer cannot connect to the Internet because it failed to query TCP/IP settings of the connection.
