After my dir-655 recently bought the farm, I picked up a NIB 601 at a local computer mall for about $20. The drawback is that "local" for me means that the router is in Chinese.
Is there any way for the web interface language to be changed to English?

View 9 Replies View RelatedReceived a replacement DCS-930L today; using WPS, did setup wirelessly; all OK. Then did firmware update wirelessly (with second, DCS-932L, turned OFF). The v1.03 firmware file was the same one I previously used, I think. Amazingly, The camera menus are now in French, and I can't find a setting to change it to English.

The new IP is not reachable from Internet nor pingable from device on the same LAN.The new IP address is in the same subnet of the old IP.
From the switch on which the ASA is connected and from another Cisco PIX we can see the ARP entry. In the analysis, on the old public IP address there was a VPN site-to-site and Webvpn defined.We tried also to shut/no shut the interface and reboot the device.
We've recently shut down an interface on one of our ASA 5510s as we no longer use that service provider. The dashboard, however, still insists on showing traffic usage on this interface. How do I change the dashboard to display a more meaningful interface?

I am switching a switch connecting to the ASA5550 tomorrow. My current switch is using fiber connecting to the ASA. The new one only support copper. If I switch between fiber to copper on the ASA (change media-type command on interface) will it cause a down time? I have VPN tunnel on the ASA and don't want the session to reset.

The anyconnect client is deployed by the asa using the webdeploy.my client machine is a windows 7 with regionnal settings set to french (canada).I added the language localization transform files for web deploy (the mst for french) to my asa using the asdm:remote access VPN -> network (client) Access -> anyconnect customization/localization -> Localized Installer Transforms -> add the french mst.
We're using ISE's Sponsor/Guest Portal function.We customized the english default lanuage template.But we do not want to translate/customize all default language templates.How can I disable/remove the unwanted templates? (The delete button is disabled for them)Otherwise our users would be able to select templates that are not customized.

To accomplish this they have given a Cisco 877 Adsl router a 10 Port 3-COM POE Switch and 3 Cisco 7911 IP Phones. Currently the there are 7 PC's Connected to 3 COM Switch which indeed is connected to a Internet router(Speedtouch). First I thought of connectiong the IP Phones to the Ethernet Port on Cisco 877 router but had to change my mind as the ports are non POE ports and I do not have adapters for IP phones. So I've decided to connect the Phones to 3 COM Switch and create VLAN's (DATA & VOICE) and pass the DATA traffic through Speed Touch and Voice traffic through the Cisco 877 router, but when I tried accessing the 3-COM Switch via Console I am getting Junk language( See the attachment for reference).

I wanna clone my mac address so I can change my ip address. After I clone it, then what do I do to change my IP? Please dont say stuff like you dont need to mac clone to change IP. Mac cloning seems to be the only way to change my IP. EDIT: I changed my Mac, cloned it. Then I resetted my router but the I couldnt surft the internet anymore. I had to change back to my old MAC to get internet back.

I can connect for internet, thats all. I was told that I had to have the router IP close to the linksys (192.168.1.1). I wanted to change the ip address of the 655 to 192.168.1.2 . Every time I do this I can no longer connect to the 655 via lan. I have rebooted my computer and the 655. Nothing. I have to hard reset just to connect to it and start all over again.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI've searched high and low across the wide web, but I have found no real answer to this problem;Recently, I bought the DIR-655 because the gods of thunder decided to euthanize my old WAP. The original plan was to mate this up with a Tilgin VOOD-modem (modem and router in one; a heap of s**** in my uneducated eyes) in order to make networking within my appartment somewhat easier.
Got it safely indoors, plugged it in as the manual told me, and got it going (my old WAP was also a D-LINK, so the interface was somewhat familiar). Checked cabled connection, worked fine, and I got the wireless-bit to function as well. But then I, or my Xbox 360 to be right on the money, encountered a little problem. As I understand from a little bit of research, I found out that this was a dreaded phenomenon known as
"Moderate NAT"
Before I got the old WAP indoors, I used the onboard router in the TILGIN to do the switching. I used to have this problem back then also, but solved it by opening some of the ports on the modem. Then it switched to "Open NAT", and worked like a charm. Now however, I have ran into a problem I can't dig myself out of. I have tried DMZ, opening numerous ports all the way to the full monty, but I can�t get that NAT to wander into the more acceptable range. And then it became clear that the internet on my laptop was somewhat amputated as well; simple youtube-videos became harder to load (sometimes it actually had to stop for extended streaming!), and this is not acceptable on a 20 mbt DSL-line!
