Im trying to configure a SR520 with the CCA, but every time I try and apply the changes to the router i get the following error.
"java.lang.nullPointerException"
Using CCA 3.0(1) and Java Version 1.6.0_16 from Sun Microsystems Inc?I assume this is an issue with Java, as like with the SDM you had to use an Old Vertion.
I´m trying to configure SR520 Cisco router as PPPoE server. The point is, when configuration is done and PPPoE client is directly connected to the interface, SR520 doesn´t respond to incoming PADI. PADI is not shown in PPPoE debugs (debug pppoe events, packets and errors).On the other hand, I get the PADI capturing packets with wireshark (so PADI is being sent) and the same configuration on other router works fine.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'd like to configure a VPN with two SR520. the first router is a SR520-FE-K9 and it's at office, the second router is a SR520-ADSL-K9 and it's at home.
Each router have a static IP and individually works well. I tried to configure, by CCA, the office router as a server and the home router as a client: at home I can't see the office network and I can't navigate.
Need step by step, using CCA to configure a secure VPN.
My operations manager says "Could you go on-site and configure a new clients new internet connection?" I make the arrangements and go on-site. As I'm working with the providers tech he says "Do you have a sub-interface confgured for a dot1q VLAN id of 1057?", I say "What?". Anyway my firewall is not capable of dot1q VLAN, so he says "Do you have a Cisco router that can provide the trunking?", I say "Yes, I tink so but not with me". The question is can I use an SR520 between my firewall and the provider demarc to route the VLAN he is talking about? My initial discovery says yes but I am not quite sure of the details on how to achieve this on the SR520.

I'd like to make exception keywords in the Access Control but I don't know how I could possibly do this. E.g. I have put in the keyword "apple" to be blocked, so if a domain has the keyword "apple" in it, it will be automatically blocked. What can I do, however, if I want to make an exception for the domain "appletree.com"? I haven't found any way to make an exception to specific domains or keywords.
Our switch had a little crash-fest this morning at 2:30 AM. I did find a web page about diagnosing Software Forced Crash Exceptions, but it did not look like ours was one of the more easily-identifiable ones.
It may be worth noting that we've only used this switch for about a month, everything seemed fine until now. When we got the switch it did not have any GigE modules, and this week we put 2 into it and have been using them for 2 servers.
It looks like the switch was crashing repeatedly over a period of 20 minutes, and then it stopped and normalized. In the logs of the router that this switch uplinks into, we could see the ethernet port flapping during the time that the switch wasn't reachable.

I have a ThinkPad running 2000PRO that I just installed a WPX54G Notebook Adapter. After installing and restarting the computer I get a window saying External exception E06D7363. Also, when I go into configure it says the adapter is inactive. When the computer first starts up the icon for the adapter is green then turns gray.

The anyconnect client is deployed by the asa using the webdeploy.my client machine is a windows 7 with regionnal settings set to french (canada).I added the language localization transform files for web deploy (the mst for french) to my asa using the asdm:remote access VPN -> network (client) Access -> anyconnect customization/localization -> Localized Installer Transforms -> add the french mst.
After my dir-655 recently bought the farm, I picked up a NIB 601 at a local computer mall for about $20. The drawback is that "local" for me means that the router is in Chinese.
Is there any way for the web interface language to be changed to English?

We're using ISE's Sponsor/Guest Portal function.We customized the english default lanuage template.But we do not want to translate/customize all default language templates.How can I disable/remove the unwanted templates? View 13 Replies View RelatedI've been assinged a task to connect our branch office with the head office, so that the IP Phones in the branch office can be connected to Cisco Call Manager at head office. To accomplish this they have given a Cisco 877 Adsl router a 10 Port 3-COM POE Switch and 3 Cisco 7911 IP Phones. Currently the there are 7 PC's Connected to 3 COM Switch which indeed is connected to a Internet router(Speedtouch). First I thought of connectiong the IP Phones to the Ethernet Port on Cisco 877 router but had to change my mind as the ports are non POE ports and I do not have adapters for IP phones. So I've decided to connect the Phones to 3 COM Switch and create VLAN's (DATA & VOICE) and pass the DATA traffic through Speed Touch and Voice traffic through the Cisco 877 router, but when I tried accessing the 3-COM Switch via Console I am getting Junk language( See the attachment for reference).

Received a replacement DCS-930L today; using WPS, did setup wirelessly; all OK. Then did firmware update wirelessly (with second, DCS-932L, turned OFF). The v1.03 firmware file was the same one I previously used, I think. Amazingly, The camera menus are now in French, and I can't find a setting to change it to English.

I'm installing a new platform LMS 4.0.1 under VMWare and Windows 2008 R2.
I installed via Windows 2008 R2 Patch without problem in LMS 4.0, then updated in LMS 4.0.1.
I'm facing several issues during this installation.
The first issue I have is the following:
When I launched topology services, java jre file jre-6u22-windows-i586-p_withjacorb.exe was downloaded and I saved it on disk.
I clicked on file to install it and get the following message during the installation:
Error 1330.A file that is required cannot be installed because the cabinet file C:UserslmsAppDataLocalLowSunJavajre1.6.0_22Data1.cab has an invalid digital signature. This may indicate that the cabinet file is corrupt.
It tried to install certificate without success. I have internet access to java.com but it seems publisher is not trusted.
Recently, I've been having some problems trying to play a couple games coded in Java, such as MineCraft. Every time the game loads, my internet immediately disconnects.There isn't any error dialogue or message, it simply disconnects me.Sometimes, I am able to stay on my internet connection and play the game for a short while, but most of the time, it disconnects me. Just installed an ASA 5505 with AnyConnect Essentials. AnyConnect installation works fine on some windows boxes (All flavors) but have a couple machines with issues. This makes it clearly a computer side issue. When I try to log into the ASA to download the client with IE 9 the ASA just keeps asking for my logon credentials. If I I use Firefox my credentials work and I get as far as the "Using Sun java for installation" with instructions to click yes on the java security warning. The Java Security warning never arrives like on machines that don't have this problem. Firefox just hangs and has to be killed by task maanger. Remove and reinstall of both Java and Firefox fail to correct the problem. Any AnyConnect clientside recovery tips beyond Java and Browser reinstall?
A Google search show a few folks using Ubuntu and old PPC Macs seeing the same java error I get on these couple of windows boxen. [code]
