D-Link DIR-615 :: Diablo 3 Always Get Disconnected From Server?
May 21, 2012While playing on Diablo 3 using DIR-615, it will always get disconnected from server after 2 to 20 minutes. The router firmware version is 7.12.

FR-300RTR / How To Play Diablo 3 And WoW Behind DD-WRT Router
Jun 4, 2012My roommates and I like to play diablo 3 and wow at the same time, but we experience frequent disconnects. If one of the machines is in the DMZ on the router it doesn't disconnect when the other two do. I've turned the router firewall off and this does nothing to work. Can I just forward all the appropriate ports to ALL of the computers?
Router model: FR-300RTR(rebranded d-link)

Game Disconnected - Could Not Join Server
Aug 20, 2012via one of my friends having an issue with connecting to a variety of games for more than a few mins:When I join a game after about 5 or so minutes of play I get kicked out of the game and it throws this error "Game disconnected: your connection to the server timed out."If I attempt to re join a server the game then throws this error "Game disconnected: could not join server."The only way to play anoter 5 minutes is to restart my computer.Furthermore I have fios and a bigfoot killer 2100 NIC so pleanty of internet speed and low ping.

May 10, 2012I having problems to conect to the internet after i install my graphics card.. is a asus radeon hd 5670 512mb all the services are on and the dsl cable is conected properly after that a buy a usb network adapter of 300mbps.i install it detects the modems i enter the securyty key properly 3 minutes later of scanning says that failed to conect t wire456 [name of the modem] the computer uses windows xp service pack 3 when i try it on my windows7 ultimate pc it works all ok i remember that later when i install the video card i uninstall some programs maybe i uninstalll some of the drivers but i dont now wich drivers.

Dec 26, 2011This has been happening for about the last two weeks now. Before we never had any problems. So now all wireless devices keep on getting disconnected almost daily.
I have a laptop, 2 Iphones, an Xbox 360, and a Xoom Tablet that keep getting disconnected. The Desktop, which is directly connected to the router via a cable is fine and never gets dropped.
I tried changing channels, and wireless mode is now G only. Still keep getting dropped.

The Issue:When only one PC is running or actively being used there is no issue. However, when there is moderate internet usage on a second pc the internet connection will drop (the WAN light on the router stays on as does the ethernet light on the modem) and give this pair of log entries.

Anyways, only sometimes when my wife is surfing the net do we both get disconnected. i have a 2wire Gateway (I thought it was also a modem/router). It doesn't seem to DC us when shes playing like xbox games (windows 8 on the ultrabook)...but when she gets on the internet it does it..but not all the time. I was thinking maybe it was DCing because we were putting to much on the gateway.
Desktop: Using ethernet...custom built PC (previous pc was a HP...same issue)

Jul 22, 2011I run a web server behind a D-Link DIR-655 (Rev B). I have port 80 opened and forwarded to my servers IP and a domain pointed at my external IP. I can access the server without issue using the domain or external IP from outside of my network, but I can only access it via the internal IP from inside my network. Using the domain or the external IP just gives me a timeout error. I had a Linksys router previously and didn't face this issue.

Feb 27, 2012I get the message "dns server isn't responding" several times per day. If i get the message, nothing can get through to the internet (smartphones, laptop, vita, friends smartphones, etc.) If i reset the router, i can access the web again. Or if i wait for 2 minutes.

Cable modem connects to D-link 615. Laptop is connected with a cable in D-link 615. All my wireless stuff is connected via wireless D-link 615. My cable modem is also connected directly to my ps3. I'm running windows 7 on my laptop.
D-Link DIR-655 :: Setting DNS To OS X Server?
Jun 15, 2012I'm running a Mac OS X Server on my network. I'd like to use the Server's DNS instead of my ISP's. In the D-Link Router I've set the DNS to the OSX server in the WAN section. Unfortunately it doesn't allow my clients on the network to connect to the internet when I do this.
If I set the DNS on the client to the OS X server it works fine. Or if I set the DNS on the router to my ISP's (or Google's) it works fine too.
Is this a route configuration issue? (And if so, what can I do to fix it?) Or is this an OS X Server issue?
No Connections Available Media Disconnected
Jan 1, 2013My dad just had to send his Acer Aspire back to the manufacturer to get the fan replaced. It came back factory reset and would not connect to any internet wired or otherwise. He called me and I asked him to bring it over. I can get it to connect to via Ethernet at my house, however, wireless is a no go. The status bar goes between "no connection available" to showing my network with two bars. When I attempt to connect to my network I get the standard "Window was unable to connect to this network". I currently have another PC, a PS3, a smart phone, and a tablet all connected with no problem (and all at full bars), so I know it's not the router. I ran an ipconfig /all and this is what I got: [code] One thing I did notice is that my IP Routing Enabled was set to NO and when I looked at how to fix that it said to update a registry key.

Media Disconnected On Vista?
Feb 5, 2013I have just upgraded a laptop to vista, I didn't have any internet connection until I used a dongle to connect, after connection, it downloaded drivers to computer. Wireless now works without the dongle. I have no wired connection as it says "Media Disconnected." If I look in device manager, everything is working fine. I have looked on the net & tried a lot of checking various things but still no connection on lan. This is on an old laptop a advent 7109A. It was working fine on all connections until I upgraded.

Everything works and I don't have trouble accessing the internet, but whenever I play a game online it will disconnect me after a while. It clearly says a cable is unplugged, but no cable is unplugged and i am 100% sure of that.
when i type "ipconfig" into command prompt, i see all these things that say "tunnel adapter Local area connection" and it says media disconnected.

I'm pretty sure that it will use that connection if I deinstall spotflux again but how to configure windows to use the normal connection when the vpn is not connected?I've attached a screenshot of the LAN connection settings and the priority list - but still it doesnt seem to work. I didn't change the options Schedule ("Always") and Inbound Filter ("Allow All").
The DNS of my domains (samendienen.nl and some other domains) is set to my new IP-address.May be I forgot some other settings in my D-Link-router.what I have to do to make my websites reachable?
D-Link DIR-655 :: Email Server Inaccessible Via WAN?
Jun 3, 2012Up to this point, all the computers on the network accessed the e-mail server via the Windows name of the PC running the e-mail server. However, one of the PCs will need to access e-mail from the WAN soon as opposed to the LAN, so I switched the server name in Thunderbird (e-mail client) to the actually fully qualified domain name of the server (registered at NO-IP, which redirects to the e-mail server at home).
The problem I am running into is that all the requests sent for IMAP or SMTP are being blocked by the router. That's even though I added port forwarding rules for them. The logs show messages similar to the following:
"Blocked incoming TCP connection request from 216.168.101.68:51291 to 216.168.101.68:143"
It doesn't make a difference if I change the endpoint filtering to "Endpoint Independent" either. Any thoughts of what else I can try? DMZ is not an option.
