D-Link DIR-615 :: Transmission Rate Missing From Wireless Network Settings?

I have had a DIR-655 for years, and this is a treat - channeling everything from IPTV, to a fast fiber connection, transfers - no sweats.
Then I had to setup a router for a friend, and recommended the DIR-615.
Setup the router, and max it would connect with was 150mb - I changed the settings accordingly: auto channel scan channel width: auto 20/40mhz
So this "opened" up the 300mb speed - however only for 5 mins, then it falls down to 150mb.
My laptop (lenovo) connects to the dir-655 just fine at full speed, and this is also the machine I used for testing the dir-615.
It's ax Hx firmware, FW: 8.04
What I can conclude by using inssider, and xirrus wifi inspector is that it generates 2 channels - and then after 5mins of connectivity looses a channel, and then the speed drops.
I got a new router from the dealer, same issue. Then a friend of mine lent me an ancient dir-615, and interestingly enough this had the same configuration option of "Transmission rate" in the wireless settings page! Just like the dir-655. and also connects at 300mb...

the only way i can get 300mbps from this router is by having these settings, it seems the only valid settings to get 300mbps from the router are the following:
Network Mode: mixed
Channel Width: auto (20mhz or 40mhz)
Channel : 1
if i leave the channel to auto it won't show up as 300.on top of that it doesn't want to stay at 300mbps for very long, sometimes its max rate in inSSDer is only 144 or 156mbps. its the weirdest thing, i think this version of the firmware seems to forget to check for how fast its wireless transmit speed is.When it reboots it only transmits at 144 or 156mbps. i have to go in the basic wireless page and just save the settings to reset it to 300, i don't even have to change anything, it resets its max rated speed back up to 300mbps.and more importantly, are the devs aware of this problem for the e1200 v2 ?

For an N300 model F9K1002V4 router, how can I tell if it's transmitting in N mode? I have two newer laptops that are capable of receiving the 802.11N signal but are only receiving at 54mbps. The router is set to transmit at b/g/n rates.

I keep getting disconnected from the game "Vindictus". I'm not sure what protocols it uses, but it shouldn't require any configuration on the Router, since it was working fine before. I upgraded the firmware to 4.13 in an attempt to fix the issue, but it didn't work. Some people have suggested "Endpoint filtering" to be set to independent, but I cannot find such an option. Where is the option? I was told it was on the Firewall page, but it is not there (Advanced->Firewall/DMZ). The router is supplied by Virgin Media (ISP) but I'm not sure if that matters.

I recently bought the Dlink DIR-655 router and I have a Dlink DNS 323 nas. I have them connected and working. When I send data from my PC to the DNS 323, i'm doing about 6MB/s. when I'm sending data from DNS 323 to my PC, i'm doing about 30MB/s. all 3 devices have the 1000 Mbps enabled and Jumbo frames is enabled on the DNS 323 and my PC. is this normal?

I have a question concerning the Internet LED Status Indicator. The manual states "A solid light indicates connection on the Internet port. This LED blinks on data transmission".My router seems to be working fine but the Internet LED on my 615 is blinking orange.Reason??

I have bought tp-link wdr-4900 for several days and encounter the following problems
1) nfs is not work, whenever I set up the nfs server (using hanewin nfs server), the media player fails to read the media file. (Problem does not appear for the previous ASUS n56u)
2) When there is large traffic rate (e.g. BitTorrent), the whole machine is very unstable, LAN and Wireless dies (SSID disappears, and LAN appears "ERR Connection" and "DNS not respond"), give me a feeling that the router cannot handle high traffic rate and the whole machine slows down and fails.

I am writing in from Cuenca, Ecuador. I have a TD-W8901G Wireless ADSL2+ Modem Router. I have accessed the interface using the default ip address:192.168.1.1.When I select Interface Setup from the menu, it only shows Internet and LAN as the only 2 options. Wireless is no longer there. It just disappeared! The LED indicator light for WLAN is also "OFF." When you try the Quick Start wizard guide, it cannot complete the setup because there is an IP address error.
I have changed the firmware 2x since, trying to remedy this, I have also tried factory resets at least 3x. Nothing has worked up to this point.

There is NO connection although Belkin Wireless Adaptor is blinking to catch signal.Whenever there is no connection, I need to click Belkins Utility at System tray at the bottom in order to get connection, however it does not keep connected and lasts only 10-20 minutes.Besides this, I found when I clicked, icon of Belkin > Properties > Network and found there is no 'Use Windows to configure my wireless network settings.

Here we got Nintendo's support for some D-Link routers[url]...
My D-Link router is DIR-615 and one of those instructions on Nintendo's Support is to chance the TX Rate (Transmission Rate) to the value "2". However I can't find this option, even when I use the Nintendo's Important Note on the right. How I can activate this option or the location for it. I am trying to connect to Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection to play Pokemon White.

I used Dell Inspiron 1440. about 1 month ago, my Wireless Hardware along with the Wireless Network has been missing for unfortunate reason. I tried to reinstall the Wireless Network from program along with the CD application that came with Laptop. I also use limitless resources in order to have my Wireless Network to appear.

I have something I assumed but I am not sure if this wrong or not. I assume that every say 1 meter, I can send say 1 bits, so if I have 10 meters of link length, I can send 10 bits of data on that link. Do you have any argument to strongly support this assumption, preferrably a reference.

I have a Gateway Notebook Model ML6720 that has built-in Wireless. The PC was heavily infected by Virus and I had to re-install Vista Operating system. Now, it will not detect the Wireless Adapter. I went to the maufacturer's website on another computer and downloaded the driver and installed the driver on the laptop. However, it did not work. The blue "wireless" light on the laptop is "lit", however when I go to "Device Manager" and look at the Network Drives, it only shows the wired Ethernet option.

I had to Reinstall my windows Vista OS. My WNA was working prior to the OS reinstallation, so I am confused a bit. I have no idea how to reinstall drivers in order that dell gives me. I have downloaded the drivers from the Dell downloads section;however, I don't know what to do next. i have a 5500 series WLC connected to a switch through a trunk port with 2 v WLClans. the connection works fine, but sometimes it loses connectivity. it works again rebooting the wlc.
When the problem presented, i checked the cpd neighbors on switch and it didn't show the wlc, and i checked the cdp neighbors on WLC and this shows the switch in its neighbors list. i also checked the port counters on WLC and the receiver counters keep increasing, but the transmission counters remains in the same value. then i can see that only the TX side on the controller is down, if i restart the WLC the problem disappear temporarily.
Is there a misconfiguration or a wlc bug related to this behavior?
The switch is a Catalyst 3560
The WLC controller code is 6.0.188.0

I have two(2) WR941ND routers working at my home. The primary has IP : 192.168.1.2 , this primary router is working as an Acess Point, DHCP is OFF, and no wireless security activated. This primary router is connected to a DSL modem+router and DHCP is activated on it.For the secondary router I configred 192.168.1.100 . On the secondary router I have activated WDS function as well as Wireless Security (WPA2) , DHCP is Off on it. This secondary router is to work as wireless bridge + Access Point. You will understand that this secondary router is wirelessly connected to the primary one.I am able to configure all, and all things work correctly for few days at a time.But if at any time the secondary router is switched OFF, and then again switched ON, it seems to have lost al the settings and its IPs, and thus unable to connect to primary router. At such time I am unable to locate /connect my laptop to this secondary router, and it keeps on searching & searching.
