View 1 Replies View Relatedthis problem has been haunting me for couple days . View 3 Replies View RelatedI've been having this problem for about a month. When I first start my computer, all three sites load fine. After a few hours, the error page comes up stating that Google Chrome (my primary browser) can't load the page. A few weeks ago if I switched over to Internet Explorer, the sites would still be able to load. Now the sites don't load after these few hours in any of my browsers. I've done malware, spyware and antivirus scans and threats did come up, but now there are none and this keeps happening. I also did a DNS flush and it didn't work. This is my log, but my host files are being blocked[CODE]
View 10 Replies View RelatedI got the DIR-835 today and have been spending hours trying to get it to work right. Everything works well except I cannot for the life of me get this router to let me stream youtube properly anymore.
View 1 Replies View RelatedAnd I can't seem to access Google and Youtube on my iPad, even Yahoo doesn't work. It all started when I updated my DIR-655 to the newest firmware 2.07NA because I wanted to have an Open NAT for my PS3 because it was set on Strict and I wasn't able to fix it other than updating my router. Now, Youtube works, but I can't play any videos, it's keep in a infinite loop. And I can't access some sites, such as Google, Youtube Facebook and Yahoo, on my iPad, it just won't load.
I just don't know what to do, I'm not really a crack when it comes to router, I don't know jack about my router to be honest, I know how to set the Wi-Fi, forward ports but that's basically all. It seems that it is a firewall problem, but I don't even know how my firewall settings works! UDP and TCP are set on Endpoint Independent but putting them into default doesn't do much, well it does nothing.
it is starting to get ridiculous, the DIR-655 is full of problems! My connections was always jumping, IP Conflict but now it's fixed, Flash videos wasn't able to run outside Youtube
My boss asked me to disable access to Facebook since most of the employees are just spending time with it instead of working. I have done this by means of Website Filter and it works. However, some people have found a way by installing Digsby on their machine, tho they're not really able to go the facebook page, they are actually able to chat with their facebook buddies. Is there a way for me to block access to the facebook API or anything Facebook related?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have fiber optic net, going into a TP Link 1043 ND router out in my garage. All of the 4 lan ports go into one of the rooms in the house. I also have two more routers of the same kind, one downstairs and one upstairs. They are configured in a way, that DHCP server is only turned on, on the one in the garage, the other two act as switches. My problem is that 50 % of the time I can't acces facebook, and some other random sites. The interesting bit is that when I chat with someone on FB, I can see what they write, but my message doesn't go through. The way it goes, is that I can browse on facebook for like 5 minutes, after that its unavailable for another 5 minutes.I can still access the site from my smartphone, but only if its not connected to the wifi network, meaning the problem is somewhere within my setup.I've already tried turning the router firewall off, but that doesn't make any difference.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've been having this problem off and on for about a week now. I fixed it last time by deleting a file in my /drivers/etc folder that was not supposed to be there (I don't remember what the file was called, but I googled it and found it was causing multiple people problems as well). In doing this I seem to have messed something up in my computer because now the problem is back.I can't connect to youtube.com on Firefox or IE. It does let me connect to m.youtube.com though. This is the only website I've encountered a problem with. Here are the results from cmd:[CODE]

View 10 Replies View RelatedFor some reason, the past few days, youtube has been incredibly slow at buffering any video i click on. few days ago, it was fine, nothing has been installed that would hinder it's performance, and nothing to do with my LAN has changed.I just did a speedtest and i got 5.76Mbps download speed. I have no idea what i'm getting from my ISP (who is orange) but it'll probably be 20Mbps. I am using a homeplug, and there are a five wireless devices on the network.

If I use nslookup to get the IP-address of YouTube, I get 173.194.32.32.If I go to http://173.194.32.32/ in my browser it can connect, but as Google is probably checking the Host HTTP-header, it shows Google's frontpage instead.
There is no blocked websites on the router and other devices on the network seems to work.My computer only has this problem on this specific network.
I am using Mac OS X 10.8.2 on a MacBook (mid 2009).
I have a Cisco881w router connected to my cable-modem. I installed the 881 together with a new cable-modem, so practically 2 things have changed in the network here. Since then, we're experiencing problems with things like downloading large files (like > a few MB), watching youtube movies etc. When I click on a movie on youtube, usually the loading bar stops at approx 5-10%. When hitting refresh a couple of times, suddenly the whole movie is loaded. This is the same when downloading large files.

View 1 Replies View RelatedFor some reason Youtube Videos are running extremely slow in Firefox. It has never been this slow, it lags so much when I even have a video on 360p. The worst part, it lags when advertisements load. I don't know why it's doing this, but I want to fix it somehow.
Yesterday, I edited the start up menu to make log ins a lot faster.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI bought a D-Link DIR-655 hoping to get a faster connection over my Netgear WNR2000.I runs mostly fine apart from the occasional freezes and one other problem: youtube video's won't load. I can search and browse youtube, but when I click on the video, the page loads but the video just doesn't load. I can see the play/pause button and the circle telling use the video is loading. Then that's it. Nothing happens. When I plug back my WNR2000, Youtube videos load fine. Same thing on my roommate's laptop. I bought this router over a month ago so I can't return it, spending $80 on a piece of shit like is frustrating when living off a student budget. I'm just about to throw it out the window

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a Linksys E4200v2 couple days ago. After set up everything seem be working fine, accept my iPhone 4s. I can do almost things on my iPhone, but when I tried streaming video or streaming music from apps on the phone it stared buffering.... play..... and.... stop.... almost every 30s which never happen with my old Linksys E1000. And It happen with my wife's phone too. Even my internet speed is not bad at all (Ping: 24 / Download 23Mbs / Upload 4Mbs). So I can guess that problem from the router. Then I swap the E4200v2 with the E1000, everything works fine (it just a litle bit slower when loading at begin).
