D-Link DIR-655 :: Yahoo Videos Not Working On Wireless Connection

I am having issue with Yahoo videos not working on my home network wireless connection. It is not a computer issue because my laptop plays the videos fine on different wireless connections just will not play on my home connection. Is there some simple setting somewhere that is causing this issue? All other videos play fine......youtube, CBS news etc. It is only yahoo videos. The commercials even play fine. When the video tries to play it simply gets stuck in the loading screen with the circle thing going around an around or it nds then says video is no longer available.

I have a problem with the combination of the TP Link router and a samsung smart tv (Samsung UE46ES6300). Every thing works fine, but I can't show videos or images from a usb-hdd connected to the router (Media server is started)I can access the files with my windows pc and windows media-player. AND I can view content on the usb-hdd connected to the router, over allshareplay for windows and send it to the tv.But I want to show videos on the usb-hdd without my pc. I see the TP-Link Router as a source on allshareplay on the tv. When I click on it, there is a error message, that the request can't be executed.
I've installed aDIR655 for my friend's cafe and found that Clients ( both wired and WIFI ) have difficulties accessing Yahoo and MSN while Googles etc ( and other Newspaper and webmail sites are OK ) is fine.....I tried to reload and reboot and re-config etc but all in vain...
And I can't seem to access Google and Youtube on my iPad, even Yahoo doesn't work. It all started when I updated my DIR-655 to the newest firmware 2.07NA because I wanted to have an Open NAT for my PS3 because it was set on Strict and I wasn't able to fix it other than updating my router. Now, Youtube works, but I can't play any videos, it's keep in a infinite loop. And I can't access some sites, such as Google, Youtube Facebook and Yahoo, on my iPad, it just won't load.
I just don't know what to do, I'm not really a crack when it comes to router, I don't know jack about my router to be honest, I know how to set the Wi-Fi, forward ports but that's basically all. It seems that it is a firewall problem, but I don't even know how my firewall settings works! UDP and TCP are set on Endpoint Independent but putting them into default doesn't do much, well it does nothing.
it is starting to get ridiculous, the DIR-655 is full of problems! My connections was always jumping, IP Conflict but now it's fixed, Flash videos wasn't able to run outside Youtube
I have just purchased 3 DCS-932L'S and installed 3.11 D-ViewCam software. I have done my best to configure the mainconsole correctly so that my cam's will record on motion based occurances on a weekly schedule of 24 hours a day everyday. I have a lot of evidence that the system is recording as when I have the console open that there is motion detected and there are 3 folders in my nas unit that has tons of .dat files in them. My problem comes in when using the playback system. When I select the search by date/time button and locate the folder that is for a the camera I am interested in playing video for the results never show up!
I keep loosing internet conection when i`m watching youtube videos. Conection is wired and super fast fiberopticks internet. Trouble shooter says: no valid IP adress and one other thing. As soon as i restart the laptop everythig fine untill i try to watch again. Afraid i will destroy the computer by constantly restarting
I bought this router and ever since my internet connection will drop out for 5 minutes at a time then come back in. This happens on both wifi and the wired connection. The weird part about it is that if there is a program that maintains a constant connection, e.g. xbox live or an online MMO, they don't lose connection when every other device or even tabs within the same browser all lose connection.
I purchased Linksys EA4500 and after I connected to my yahoo mail web address does not work ...The router only blocks access to some websites including [URL], and [URL] configuring the router - connection without the router works perfectly?
After I installed E4200 v2, I got a problem with some web pages like facebook (either do not open or not dispaleyd properly) and msn and also yahoo messenger I can not access, I have a PPPoE internet.I tried to do factory reset and updated to 2.0.26 firware but with no luck the problems persisted... I connected my old one E1000 and it had none of the probelmes I mentioned..
My photos and videos will play on All Share, but I can't get any music to play. Moved my ITunes music folder in the same way I did the photos, etc., but can't get any music to play. Says no device loaded on screen when I choose music.
My router usb storege was working fine with my old videos and streaming fine too but now im putting some new videos on the usb storage my router its not showing the new videos on the usb storage.
Having problems with the E1200 when it comes to loading images and vidoes. Text loads fast, but images take several minutes, and for videos - forget about it, takes at least 15 minutes to load even a 2 minute video. I've changed MHz settings and several other settings, but nothing seems to have worked.
When i stream higher resolution videos to my TV or PC, from the usb stick attached to my router(linksys EA4500). The videos freeze, then playes again, then freeze, etc. I have no problem with lower res. videos or music
I bought a EA3500 router and the setup went fine. I have two computers on the network and both have acces to the Internet. But on one of them which runs Windows 7 and MCAfee Antivirus I cannot watch any videos from Youtube. On the other one which runs Windows XP all videos are running great. I've check the firmware version and it is the last one. I've try to disable the firewall in McAfee and it still does not work.
Since I've bought a new Cisco router last summer,, a Linksys E1200 (v.1 updated...) (always in the wireless mode), my laptop (Sony, Vaio VGN-NW110D) freezes when I stream videos online or when I use skype video calls. It sometimes freezes for a few minutes (in that case it's just really extremely slow and it sounds like a satanic robot), and then comes back (but does it again a few minutes later. Or sometimes, and this is more frequent with skype video calls, it completely freezes, and I have to reboot the hard way...This never happened to me before and I've been watching videos and video skyping for years. I have windows 7, service pack 1 (32 bits) now . I have windows 7 now, since about the same time I bought the router. But what makes me think its related to the router is that when I'm at work, or at my parents, or sisters, or boyfriend's house, this problem does NOT occure.... I don't know if this information could be relevant, but this does not happen when I make videos calls with skype on my iphone.
I have cable @ 15Mbps down, 2Mbps up. The cable line comes into the crawl space in my daylight basement. I have 3 Cat-5 cables running through the house. 1 to the TV downstairs, and then 1 each to 2 bedrooms on the second floor (one of which is my home office). In the home office, this Cat-5 is connected to a 24-port switch. I plug my printer, NAS, computers, etc into this switch.I have a WRT54G2 v1 that I was using as my Router/AP.I have a 1st & 3rd generation iPad. The iPad 3 plays YouTube videos in HD. About 6 weeks ago I started to get slow YouTube video playback on my iPad's. They would play a few seconds, then pause to buffer, etc. It used to be that videos started playing almost immediately and would never buffer.
Using Wifi Analyzer for Android, I noticed my neighborhood is saturated with 2.4Ghz wifi. So, I figured it must be that the 2.4Ghz band is saturdated and if I moved to a 5Ghz band, the YouTube buffering would be fixed.So, I purchased an E4200 (v1 I think) from Amazon. I bought this Router/AP because it supported the 5Ghz band. It also I connected it to my cable modem and setup everything. Still slow YouTube, and now YouTube videos are slow on my laptop (connected via ethernet). I still get ~15Mbps over ethernet or wifi using the speed test page provided by my ISP, but YouTube videos are VERY slow.
I recently upgraded my router because my last cisco router was having a misdirect issue. Type in facebook and you get an invalid URL and would have to reset the router to get it to work. Now I bought a new Cisco router and am regretting it. The n900 was a pretty penny and now ALL my videos are always buffering. I have several computers connected, but not active. The internet is painfully slow with the new router, but lightning fast with out it.
Currently using my laptop secuirty settings are IPv6/ and 4 SPI Firewall Protection: Enabled WPA2/WPA mixed mode.
I have tried everything: Rebooting, up to date firmware, resetting, What should I do next? Disable some of its advanced features? Cisco is earning a bad rap with me if a router that boasts high internet speeds makes all my videos buffer and load painfully slow. Let alone getting through all the commercials on the internet now.
I have Ver E3, with firmware 5.10. Like it says above, Wireless N is not working. I've already going into Manual Wireless set up and selected Mixed G and N. All of my devices will connect, but only as G devices.I'm reluctant to set it to "N only" for fear that none of my devices will be able to connect.
Connection pretty much just stopped working one day. I have reset my router completely. I have tried the netsh commands. I have tried using different dns ip addresses. I have released and renewed ipconfig. I have reset both my cable modem and my wireless router. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the wireless drivers and made sure they were up to date. None of these things worked.Here is the story. My laptop will not connect to the internet even though it says it is connected and shows the SSID when you hover over the wireless on the bottom. I have an iPad, iPhone, and another laptop connected to this wireless connection. The laptop that does not connect (the one i am having problems with) did connect to another wireless network this past weekend in another house so it is not the card in the laptop. It seems to be settings in this particular laptop with just this wireless connection as the wired connection works fine. It DOES NOT time out when I ping websites in the command prompt. I get returned values. I have tried several browsers and none of them work. It will not connect to AIM either. I hope these details might give someone some insight here. I have spent many hours trying to figure out what the hell has changed and why this connection won't work
I have a D-Link wireless adapter (DWL-G122) that I have been trying to install on a Windows XP computer. After various uninstalls and reinstalls of the drivers and programs that come with it, I have found currently the best way to get it to work is leave the D-Link programs uninstalled and have Windows install the driver itself.The problem is, it doesn't seem to keep the drivers on restarting, so every time the computer is restarted, it must be installed again. This is not ideal.It occasionally worked when I installed from the CD, but the D-Link programs that would install with the drivers created problems of their own.
Once every couple of days the wireless service seems to disappear. I've connected to the router from a wired computer and everything looks ok from the d-link panel, however its not showing up as an available wireless network on the wireless units. Pulling the power off for 30 seconds tends to get it working again. I'm configured bg and n. I need a mix... an old B laptop, have one machine that has a G NIC, and the rest are N.
My DIR-655 wireless has stopped working after a few years of flawless operation. It still works for wired operation. I was running Firmware 1.21, tried rebooting, resetting to factory, powered off the unit, etc. without success. Decided to Upgrade to the firmware to 135 NA, still no success. I am in British Columbia on Shaw Cable. On the Status Page under Wireless LAN, the Wireless Radio shows "Init failed".
Wireless is still on also after time set in the schedule is over. I connected to the router through its web page and set wireless on with schedule from 8 am to 9 pm. But wireless is running also after 9 pm. I checked the time settings on the router and they are correct. FW version is 2.01
ok,I have a wifi connection to a working router, three other wifi devices are working fine wirelessly, and the computer that cant get date from the internet works when I plug into the router via ethernet cable. I get sent packets but zero 0 received packets, every thing was fine and the only thing I have done recently is get an iphone4 and spend some time getting it personal hot spot to work. I have tried:rebooting, removing firewall ( Norton), repairing connection, setting up new connection, swearing at the screen all to no avail
My laptop is working fine wirelessley however my desktop which is hardwired and has been working fine for months wont connect to internet ? Ive brought my laptop upstairs and it connects fine via LAN cable to obv an issue with desktop computer/settings
Have tried all the usuall restarting modem etc ... dont know what to do to try and resolve the issue
I'm having an issue with the connectivity of my wireless internet. Downstairs, everything is peachy. Upstairs, which is no more than 100 feet from the router, the connectivity is non-existent. That is - the laptop still registers full signal strength, and identifies my computer as connected - but the browser constantly loads, google talk is always trying sign in, and my dropbox continues to try and find a connection.The page never actually loads, but it also never tells me there is no connection. It's like the date has slowed so much that it is not actually being sent.
