My internet is running through a D-Link DIR-655 router at home it's giving me some problems at the moment.Me and my roomie both play World of Warcraft and we both have to have the ports open for updates, and it won't let me.It will only let me open the ports for 1 IP, if i try to open it for more it 'conflicts', it's only passing through the port in the router, it's not dedicated to one IP.

The switches have very basic default configurations and there is no way to edit them, so I only have one VLAN and one default gateway. I can't assign the same IP address to each LAN port. View 1 Replies View RelatedI have 1 x C2900 router with 3 x ADSL WIC and UC500. I setup 3 x ADSL to access internet and UC500 is connected with 3 telephone lines (plugged into FXO ports). I have 2 x GE on my 2900. 1st GE is connected to switch and 2nd GE is connected to UC500.
I want to setup that traffic from UC500 (SIP) is going through 1 dedicated ADSL line and data (from computers & servers) is going through remaining 2 interfaces only. How I can set it up.
I would also like to know how I can load balance internet connection going through 2 dedicated data ADSL lines.
We've read everything about inspecting SIP packets and allowing them to pass through on port 5060, the default SIP port. However, our setup requires the ASA 5505 to allow SIP on ports 5060, 5160 and 5260.
Is this possible with the ASA 5505? If it's not, it would be a blocking issue for us to move forward with ASA appliances. We are currently investigating in a lab environment and really having difficulties configuring it to facilitate full SIP functionality.

But now I have to define each backend web server as an RSERVER and it doesnt allow me to configure 2 rservers with same IP.
I have a wlc2112-k9. I have succesfully setup a WLAN with 802.1x authentication and dynamic VLAN assignment. The issue I have (and maybe it isn't an issue and just the way the controller works) is that if the vlan interfaces I have defined are connected to different ports from which the default interface for the WLAN it doesn't work.So for instance, I create my WLAN and set the interface to the management interface (which is connected to port 1). I then define all my other vlan interfaces that could be returned by my radius server.[code]
Port 1 is configured on the switch on vlan 21. If the radius server returns a VLAN ID of 102, 104 or 106 my client successfully connects to the WLAN but it gets put on VLAN 21. However if I move the vlan interfaces above over to port 1 the client correctly gets put on the correct VLAN.All ports on the switch are configured as trunk with the native vlan set to the corresponding value that is set on the WLC.
Is this just the way the controller functions? That it can't assign a client to a different interface that is connected to a different port from the default one setup when the WLAN is created? I would have just though that if the radius server returned VLAN 102 that it would find that interface and connect the user session via that interface regardless of the port it is configured on.
I have a client with a cisco 1841 router with a static public ip. He has 3 dvr's he wanted to acces from the internet and we opened the ports for the dvr's ip's. The issue were having is that only the first ip that we opened shows the port opened and works ok, the other 2 ip with their ports show closed.

We have a web-server on an inside interface listening on a non standard port - 20111. We have created a static NAT translating the public ip to the private, so If I do http://public-ip:20111 it works. (we are using a seperate public IP for this service only).
Now I need to create a NAT rule that will forward requests on BOTH port 80 and 443 to the same private ip and the same port number (20111)
The Private address is 10.99.250.20 and the "public" (I've replaced it in this example) is 172.16.16.16 I have managed to create a NAT that will translate 443 to 20111:
object network 10.99.250.20 nat (Private-DMZ,Outside) static 172.16.16.16 service tcp 20111 https
But if I try to add another rule like: nat (Private-DMZ,Outside) static 172.16.16.16 service tcp 20111 http It will simply replace the first one.
Is it possible to redirect both 80 and 443 from outside to the same port number and same IP on the inside?
I was wondering why can't we no longer use the multiple ports within an extented ACL like I use to do it in a CAT3750E.I have IOS-XE Software, Catalyst 4500 L3 Switch Software (cat4500e-UNIVERSALK9-M), Version 03.02.00.SG.I wanted to create an ACL like so [code] But when I do, it tells me that I cannot do it.... I can only add 1 tcp port to my ACL line. View 1 Replies View RelatedI've run a across a strange issue that I've not encountered before and after the things I've tried am beginning to think it's a limitation of the router itself. What I have are 3 Cisco 1941 routers that are all endpoints for a customer's MPLS network. STL is the headquarters and both remote offices have a link back this router. Each of the remote locations only have 1 serial interface. It is a flat network with few routes and a small shoretel voip system running across it. Each router is running C1900 Software (C1900-UNIVERSALK9-M), Version 15.0(1)M5, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc2).
QoS is configured as follows on each router:
class-map match-any AutoQoS-VoIP-Remark

match ip dscp cs3
match ip dscp af31
class-map match-any AutoQoS-VoIP-Control-UnTrust

I've tried to create a different policy map with the same settings and get the same error. We thought that when it was first set up, each interface belonged to the same network, so we separated things out (hence the .252 mask). I'm not sure what else to try and I'm hoping its something painfully simple that I'm missing.

How I can attempt to identify what traffic is being dropped?
I have an rv180 and I'm trying to setup a custom service that contains both multiple disjoint ports (some UDP some TCP), as well as a TCP port range. This has lead me to a couple of questions.1) Is it even possible to have a single custom service with disjoint ports? Is it just going to be necessary to define multiple partial services for this?2) Is it possible to forward a range of ports? It's clear how to define a service with a port range, but the port forwarding table interface only allows me to select one LAN-side port for any service. Is there a secret notation that I need to do here that will just forward to the same LAN-side port as the WAN-side port---effectively one-to-one NAT forwarding, but just for the selected service?

I have been putting up with rubbish wireless signal down one end of my house now for quite some time. So I thought I have a spare wireless router and I could put it down there but I am sure ts not as easy as just plugging it and away you go.

I press the stupid little button on the back of it, the lights go out, one amber one comes on etc. etc. but when I go to 192.168.0.1, everything is still the same!!
Like the passwords are still there and nothing has changed! I thought resetting it was supposed to wipe all that stuff out so you could start from scratch? Also pulled the power cord in and out a zillion times but no way it will reset!
As an aside, I am having no end of problems getting my iPads (2) and iPhones (2) to connect to the wireless network! The "Network Discovery" button will not stay checked and though I have done all the Googling and been into Services to start things running, no way it is going to work!
But I digress, how do I get this fool of a router to reset properly?
I have a dlink router. Dir615 I believe. After installing hotspot Shield on my desktop, I can no longer connect to my router from my laptop, which I did not even install Hotspot shield in. when trying to connect, nothing happens. the wireless icon on the taskbar does not show that its trying to connect.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have purchased a Dlink DWR 131 today. I did configure it as per the instructions. Initially my iPhone was able to detect the wireless network. Then I switched off the device and turned it on later and it stopped working. It is not damaged for sure, since http://192.168.0.1/ is still accessible from my laptop and I am able to connect to internet through LAN cable. But the wireless network is not working. Even my laptop doesn't detect the network neither does my iPhone. I suspect this to be some configuration issue. I have tried using different SSIDs. Also, MAC filter is disabled. I also tried using different wireless channels. I even did reset the router but no luck.
View 2 Replies View RelatedOur router is a Dlink DGL-4500. Over the last 15 minutes I've been disconnected and reconnected about 5 or 6 times. This happens every so often. But even without it I get disconnected several times per day.I need to be able to stay online and for some certain programs to run, if they get disconnected I will have to reconnect manually and I can't do this if I am not near my computer.I think the problem is specific to my laptop. Most of the time I stay online ok, except for the lapses I've mentioned. I asked someone else in our house if they have been getting disconnected and they say they haven't.
