I have a desk top not wireless i have a laptop wirelesss i have a linksy wireless router i jumped or seomething happen to my desk top i have no promlems getting on line. My desk top used to be on network abc and now it says it is hooked up to network 2 and all these messages keep coming up with my firewall i tried to get back on abc network and can't i have to play around to get on network 2 to get on line.
I have a Cisco 8510msr that is connected back to back with a 7206vxr across a 155Meg connection.I receive lots of Output drops on the 7206vxr interface facing the atm switch. When I do the following command:-
kwdair9#sh atm int atm 1/0Interface ATM1/0:AAL enabled: AAL5 , Maximum VCs: 4096, Current VCCs: 27 Maximum Transmit Channels: 0Max. Datagram Size: 4528PLIM Type: SONET - 155000Kbps, TX clocking: LINECell-payload scrambling: ONsts-stream scrambling: ON797522 input, 881483 output, 203946630 IN fast, 223768062 OUT fast, 0 out dropVBR-NRT : 110288 Avail bw = 44712 <====
I only have 44megConfig. is ACTIVEkwdair9# I only get 44Meg of the available 155Meg.There is no QOS on the router and the only commands I can find that vaguely see that refer to QOS are on the ATM switch:-

I have two site that has a copper wire ( 2 wire) connection between each router ( No Telco in between ). Now I want to use 1921 router with HWIC-4SHDSL-E card to connect these two site together. Can I use attach configuration to make the connection reference from the diagram ?
I have 2650XM router and 2620 Router Both routers have built in WIC T1 CSU/DSU cards
2620Router --
2620Router#sh int se0/0 Serial0/0 is down, line protocol is down Hardware is PQUICC with Fractional T1 CSU/DSU Description: DTE side MTU 1500 bytes, BW 1544 Kbit, DLY 20000 usec, reliability 255/255, txload 1/255, rxload 1/255 Encapsulation HDLC, loopback not set
[code]....
My question is that cisco website says there are two type of cable connections for this type of config --which are --T1 CSU/DSU ConfigurationSet one CSU/DSU to clock source internal, and the other CSU/DSU to clock source line. The linecode, framing, data-coding, and timeslots must be set the same on both CSU/DSUs.Four-Wire 56k CSU/DSU Configuration For my network connection which type of config i should use??Secondly i try to connect these ports by normal crossover cable it did not work.So for this type of connection i know i need T1 cross over cable-- which has RJ 48 connections at both sides.I check cable from ebay which is RJ45 RJ48 cross over -- will this cable work in my router to router connection.
I have 1 2611xm router and 1 2801 router. For my own lab purpose, i want to configure them back to back to support voice services. I don't know what configuration will be required at each end. in 2611xm, i have NM-2V and its also detecting the card, so i hope it will work ? also what commands i need to run on both ends .
I would like configure two router (e.g. 1921) back to back via a 2 pin copper wire. Can I use HWIC-4SHDSL-E card to do it? What is the configuration I can use?

Just to get this clear as having issues with a E1 link with CRC's at one.Router A,Network-Clock-Participate WIC 1,Should router B have clock participate for WIC 1? We currently have controllers set as UNFRAMED but guess we can set to NO-CRC4 both ends and telco will pass this.
I'm looking for instructions on how to setup and connect two RV082 routers together with a crossover cable between their WAN ports. This is to connect two separate LANS together via an ethernet connection. For staging we are setting everything up with a crossover cable in our shop. Ultimately the crossover cable will be replaced by a microwave link between the two LANS several miles apart. There will be no internet connection.
securing a back-toback connection using E1.The connection is between two cities, using 2x CISCO 1841 router + VWIC-1MFT-E1 interface at each city.
The E1 connections has been provided by our local telco, and they are completely private. The customer is a bank, and they asking me if this is a secure connection or not. If possible, we need to guarantee that no body can get access to the bank network even if they brought E1 modem at one of the ends (telco PoP).
I searched a lot but couldnt find a clear document about connecting 2 G.SHDSL routers back to back.First of all I am not sure which type of cable (RJ11) is used for connecting two 878 routers. Does it have to be cross or straight cable.
Which RJ11 pairs will be connected each other [code]
According the configuration samples One router must be CPE and the other must be CO for simulating DSLAM.
I'm having some trouble getting two Cisco 888's to work correctly back to back.. The two routers will ultimately be used in conjunction with a BT EPS8 circuit which is effectively four wires short distance between customer sites. We have configured lots of these using the older Cisco 878's.
Anyway, as i've been struggling to get line sync on site I've gone back to basics and connected the two 888's back to back. However, I've found that no matter what I do I can only get the routers to sync at 384kbps!? And that's with a one meter RJ11-RJ11 cable.. Very strange. When we've used the 878's we get much more bandwidth. I have tried statically assigning the line rate at both ends but it still only works at 384kbps.
I have a problem in my Computers network. We have more than hundered computers in our network. When I ping from my computer to other computers that are on the same switch. Does not show any problem. But when I ping to the computers that are on the switched which are not directly connected to the same switch but are on the other swtiches. Ping replys some times and some times it gives request timeoue.
I want to back up my samsung 310 to a network drive and seem unable to do so using Samsung backup and with windows 7 home you cannot back up to a network drive. It is a home network.
Have laptop connected to home network. Printer keeps showing offline and wil not print. Have went to control panel and set as default printer. I see no selection to change to "online" Other computer prints with no problem.
I am setting up my lab using two 2901 routers which is running on 15.2 IOS.I am trying to simulate a back to back BRI.BRI Module: WIC-1B-S/T-V3 (x2) one of each router.
I followed this amazing document to understand the concept of BRI and configuration. url..but it never says if i can use the module that i have mentioned.
Q1. What cabling i need to use to setup back to back BRI using 2x 2901 routers with these modules? Q2. What cabling do i need to use. Q3. Is it actually possible to use these 2 modules alone to simulate a back to back BRI..?
I don't do a lot of networking however during a cisco lesson the other day my lecturer briefly touched upon loop-back tests, would it be okay for somebody to very imply sum up exactly what loop-back tests do in a couple of lines and how they are carried out? (not in detail, so literally for example - a wire is put in from one end of the network to the other etc.) I don't really understand all the different wiring types etc.
I was having an issue with Comcast phone and internet services.Comcast had me disconnect and reconnect my modem and router. When service came back to normal one of my network connections was no longer available to me. I have two connections (one for use at my home which is a secured one) and one I use when I go to my sons home. My computer now only allows me to connect to a network called "Linksys" which may be available to the public. The connection I want to use shows up if I go to control Panel/View Network Status/Manage wireless network, and it is the first choice on the list, but the computer always uses the unsecured "Linksys". I'm afraid to do my banking over that network but I'm also afraid to start fooling with it and having no network. [code]
I have a ASA 5505 configured with three VLANs: Inside, Outside, and DMZ.I am running an exchange server on the Inside network and have configured NAT to allow connections to it from outside. This works fine. I can also happily connect to it using it's internal address from the inside. In the DMZ I have setup a linksys router to work as a guest wifi network. I configured the ASA to block any traffic from the DMZ to the internal network. This has been working fine for the last few weeks.Wireless users cannot access any internal resoureces, but can browse the internet etc.. etc..
My problem is that I want users to be able to connect to the wireless with smartphones, tablets etc..., if they do so, they can access the internet, but not get their email. From my (limited) understanding, the problem is that the ip address I am trying to connect to is the same ip that I am transmitting from. Is there any way to send the packets to the outside network and then loop them back to the exchange server?
I have set up port forwarding for my WD Network HDD, which runs a Media Server (Twonky). Now, I have tested the ports and accessed it through the internet and it works fine, until... I click a link to open a folder and suddenly I get a "No such page" error thing. I have however identified this problem, it seems that when I go off the main page it re-routes to the original network address, not my IP forward address. For Example if my IP was 82.9.12.456 and the port was 800 i would go to "82.9.12.456:800" and it would load but once I navigate i go to "192.168.0.*:800/*****" and does not load the page. If i then copy and past my IP into the URL it works, but this is annoying.
when I ping another workstation on my local network I should get back it's local IP but instead I am getting an ip address that resolves to somewhere in Germany! In fact if I ping any bogus name, I mean anything, it returns this same address 62.116.181.25. If I shut down my cable modem then everything resolves correctly. And yes I have DNS relay enabled because it seems to be the only way to get the workstations to resolve external sites correctly.
I have a lab setup to take my CCNA and CCNP and I'm having issues trying to get WAN connectivity back to a switch at the end of my network. My lab environment consists of 1 - 2950 switch, 1 - 2620 and 1 - 2621XM. I have 1 Ethernet connection from each router to the switch and 1 serial connection from the 2620 to the 2621XM. I have the serial interfaces in a shutdown state right now so there is no loop since I do not have Spanning tree setup on the ports on the switch yet.
Right now using the fast ethernet ports on the routers and I have no issues its when I shut down those Ethernet ports and try using the serial interfaces when I start having issues. So my network layout is Ethernet from switch port f0/4 to port f0/0 on 2620 and serial from s0/1 on the 2620 to s0/2 on the 2621XM. My 2621XM f0/1 is whats connected to the WAN and I have no issues getting to the WAN from my 2621Xm or my 2620 but when I try pinging any website or even my WAN default gateway from my switch I get nothing!
Ive also noticed that when I do a IP NAT translation (after accessing the WAN from my 2620) on my 2621XM the source IP is of my serial connection not the ip of my 2620 router? I have my default gateway on the 2620 as the the IP of my serial interface on the 2621XM and vice versa because my LAN network is 172.16.1.0 and my WAN is 172.16.9.0. I have a /31 setup between my serial connections 172.16.11.0 (s0/1) is on the 2620 and 172.16.11.1(s0/2) is on the 2621XM. I used the SDM (ver 2.5) to setup NAT to have f0/1 with Nat outside and s0/2 as Nat inside. Encapsulation is HDLC between the serial links. Ive attached the running configs of the switch and routers.
I am currently working on a project which purpose is to establish a TCP connection between a PC and a microcontroler.I configured (in C language) the µC as the server, and the PC as the client (in C#, using the TCPClient class). While running the codes, I capture the frames on the network with Wireshark. The client's ISN is chosen randomly by the TCPClient.Connect method.Since there will be only one TCP connection at a time, the server's ISN is always 0.The server's port is 0xC0C0 (49344) and the client's port is also chosen randomly by the TCPClient.Connect method.find the screenshot of the Wireshark's capture attached. In compliance with RFC793, the three-way-handshake should conclude with an ACK segment from the client. In my exemple, the client tries to connect three times, and then drops : the client sends no ACK segment. The µC's SYN-ACK reply may be bad configured .What kind of information did I miss ? Are there special data the client is expecting ? Why don't I get back an ACK segment from the client?
Is it possible to get a PAK back from a license? For example, if the PAK is joined with the wrong serial number is there a way to revert the binding of the PAK and serial to get just the PAK again?
I need USA style log. I have a DIR-825 B1 with Firmware Version: 2.05WW. How can I setup (; go back) to the USA 2.05NA version? The firmware upgrade was failed cause that the uploaded firmware file may not be correct..
