Port 80 for the webmask Port 21 for the FTP server. If i connected me at my homenetwork and typ in my browser: ftp://"username".dyndns.org the ftp server works, also the webmask from the Sharecenter. If i want to connect me from my work or other pc's, the ftp didn't work. can't ping "username".dyndns.org

I am not able to connect via wireless to the router from a PC with Windows Vista. It works fine when I use a cable. Then I am able to connect to Internet via the router. Also, I am able to print on a wireless printer. It is also possible to use Internet from an Ipad with wifi.
The Belkin router had a different network, 192.168.2....When the cable is connected I can ping 192.168.0.1 but not when I remove the cable. In Windows Vista the connection has status "connected". When the cable is connected, the ipconfig /all is printed as below. It is a Swedish version. Some translated words:

we were happily getting along with our RCN cable Motorola modem and DLink wireless 655 until the last couple of weeks. The internet would intermittently not be available, without warning. First couple of times we power cycled the modem and router, and it worked, but then stopped being available altogether. I got some support from RCN, the cable provider (they own the modem and it's old, so naturally that was my first thought). I now have a new modem and the situation is exactly the same. The error message that I get is that the IP address for the network cannot be found.
I got internet access by bypassing the router, connecting the modem directly to my (Windows XP) PC, releasing and renewing the IP address, and power cycling the modem. However, the internet still intermittently shuts down, and of course turning off the computer necessitates the whole procedure again. And now we have no wireless. Should we assume it's the router, and a new one would solve our problem? Of do we just need to reset the IP address of the router?

Upgraded my E3000 from 1.0.02 to 1.0.04 and now I cant get an ip from my arris modem. I did the 30/30/30 reset and everything but no luck. I've had to plug the modem directly into the computer for now. Where can I find the 1.0.02 download or how can I fix this?

I have done my best to configure the mainconsole correctly so that my cam's will record on motion based occurances on a weekly schedule of 24 hours a day everyday. I have a lot of evidence that the system is recording as when I have the console open that there is motion detected and there are 3 folders in my nas unit that has tons of .dat files in them. My problem comes in when using the playback system. When I select the search by date/time button and locate the folder that is for a the camera I am interested in playing video for the results never show up!

These lines are being picked up as motion and as such the camera records all night long taking up massive amounts of disk space. But if I record the video and play it back, there is no audio on the playback. We have an old Gateway, a WCG200, that is bridged to an E2000, which was set-up ever since we required better security when someone used our connection to illegally obtain movies. We got a letter which warned us of any future violations that could cause legal action, so we looked into our wireless connection to better secure it from any other individuals outside of our household. The WCG200 is connected to the outlet in the wall via cable, and then connects from the Ethernet to the E2000. The E2000 has a stronger security setup than the WCG200, which is the advice we received from our ISP and would allow us to keep the Gateway. It provides a strong signal, but from time to time, we suffer latency or slow loading through all of our online devices, even though our connection speed displays a solid 72.0 Mbps. I've tried the Event Viewer to see any problems, and I have noticed some small things:
- WLAN AutoConfig service has successfully stopped.Wirel?
- WLAN Extensibility Module has stopped. Module Path: C:WindowsSystem32cmihvsrv64.dll
- The server {E10F6C3A-F1AE-4ADC-AA9D-2FE65525666E} did not register with DCOM within the required timeout.
- Broadcom NetLink (TM) Gigabit Ethernet: The network link is down. Check to make sure the network cable is properly connected. [This last one is strange, since I use the Wireless Network Connection with a DW1501 Wireless-N WLAN Half-Mini Card, while the Broadcom adapter is under the Local Area Connection and displayed as not connected.]
Other than that, I'm not quite sure what the recurring problem comes from. Our WCG200 has a firewall enabled and our E2000 has an SPI firewall enabled. The security mode of the E2000 is a WPA2 setup. We have disabled the wireless network of our WCG200 in order to make use of the E2000.
How to configure settings for router E4200I live in Finland and bought new Cisco Linksys WAG320n router modem as I am experienced Cisco user. However after spending several hours and setups on the WAG320n router I cannot get it to connect on the ISP ADSL line.

I can no longer access the internet, and the internet has been difficult to bring up for one to two weeks.Internet light does not come on. Under Status tab, interface is down, tried refresh and connect but nothing.The IP address can be pinged, 4 packets sent and 4 packets received. Tried resetting defaults and refreshing but no success.Bought this router in September 2008 to replace WAG54G which was constantly turning on and off every few seconds.
