Linksys Cable / DSL :: Does WAG 200G V1.01.09 Really Support UPNP
Aug 18, 2010
I try to start with UPNP in my LAN network. Everyting works if I use Wifi connection but does not for wire connections. All tests suggest that router block UPNP traffic. Of course my WAG 200G in managment menu is for UPNP enabled. ex. downgrade firmware or something like this?
I purchased wag 200g from dubai more than a year ago. When i tried installing the power socket never worked and till date I never got a solution for this. At present I do not have any documents relafinding a cisco authorised service center in India but in vainted to this product but this issue could not be solved by any computer service center.
Is there support for album art or video thumbnails in the UPNP media server on the E3000? I've tried adding jpg files with the same name as the video file, but I see nothing in the client. I've also tried naming them 'folder.jpg' and 'cover.jpg' but still get nothing. If this isn't supported is there any plan to add support in the future?
I have a similar thread about this issue, the issue of this modem not support any kind of port forwarding actions... even disabling firewalls, using DMZ, port range forwarding the whole ip range , solves a thing...
it has upnp and port ranging features all over it but somehow it does not do it, and nobody cares excepty the ones that invested in it...
so if you are stuck with a router like me, dont bother wasting hours on it, and leave it to the people who are responsible for it.
I have a DIR-655 router and I'm trying to set up Screens Connect which states I need NAT-PMP or UPnP IGDv1 on my router.. I can't find out for sure where it says it does or doesn't though I was under the impression that it did. When I load up Screens Connect though it says 'Port mapping unavailable. Check network or router settings" I dno if the fact that I find no specific mention of these features means the router predates them so it's not mentioned.
I just bought Air Video for the ipad, It needs support for the UPnP or NAT-PMP protocols, so does the wireless n do set this up automatically or do you have to manually configure the router, and if so how.
I am going to update my Windows Small Business Sercer 2003 to 2011.I currently have an ASA 5505 with the IPS installed on it. I am reviewing the migration procedures from Microsoft. Within the procedure it asks if the firewall or router supports UPnP. Does my ASA 5505/IPS support UPnP?
Model : TL-WDR3600 Hardware Version : V1 Firmware Version : 3.13.23 Build 120820 Rel.73549n ISP : Cable TV provider
It seems there is a bug with TL-WDR3600. As it can be seen in the following image, the UPnP is off:But my firewall on the computer is reporting flood of packets originating from the router (it's the routers MAC address and IP address):I don't know what ETH type packet is, 0026 might be hex (38 decimal as seen in the raw log). But port 1900 is definitely UPnP.At the router, the wireless switch is off, as well as all other options for sharing etc. This computer is the only one connected to the router. The router has been reset several times.
I'm currently researching in buying a new modem/router that must have the PPPoA support for the ISP, i'm wondering if the X3000 is compatible with the DD-WRT firmware? or in this case any other firmware that has a top notch QoS, We have a troll in the house that downloads too many torrents and would like to limit his bandwidth .
how to make in WAG320N second PVC for IP TV. It looks like unsupportable feature May be next firmware will include it? Or better to change the device? What Linksys with ADSL are support IP TV?
The subject syas it all really, I've spent all evening trying to get this to work, firmware is now on 1.01.05 and still no luck. Maybe it just doesn't support it?
Today i brought Linksys X3000 and that came with old firmware version (1.0.01). i need new version (1.0.03) Annex A firmware but support page not working.
The downloadable PDF manual for the WAG160N shows the remote management address as "https://...", while the online support article shows WAG320N screenshots and uses "http://...". The downloadable manuals for the WAG120N & WAG320N don't show either (it's a pretty flimsy manual).point me to, a definitive list of model/firmware combos which do support SSL for remote management?
I just set up the x2000 at my home Everything seems to be working fine. However, when trying to connect my play station 3. I get upnp not available when I run the internet connection test. With that, i am not able to connect to Modern Warfare 3 online. Haven't tried other games yet but i sign in to the play station network without any problems.
I have Upnp enabled on my router. I have tried port range forwarding and DMZ settings to my ps3. and still not working.
I have a wireless router and I'm trying to user UPnP feature. of course it is enble in the router.
It's working one and after it stop working, looks like the router is not responding anymore. If I got on the web interface of the router, I loging, on the first web page I press save changes, even if I didn't change anything, the UPnP feature work again.
Looks like a timeout occure or something like that. Is there a way to wake up the router without having to go on the web interface? Why it's stop working?
I have a problem activating UPnP on my BEFSR41 V3 router. Whenever I try to activate it the 'admin' default administrator password no longer works. I have to reset the router in order to get back into the configuration web page. is there a version of the firmware which fixes this problem? I am currently at firmware level 1.05.00.
HAve UPnP enabled in the EA3500 but QNAP keep telling me "Your router does not support UPnP protocol or you have not enabled the UPnP function on the router"
So I just setup my new E3000, upgrading from a WRT54G. The uPnP worked great on that router and my last three routers before that. Xbox never required I setup anything -- I can prove this simply by swapping routers and putting one of the old ones in place of the E3000.However, the E3000 (Firmware Version: 1.0.02) is not working with uPnP. Xbox connectivity test comes back and says that my NAT type is "Moderate". Most stuff works fine, but I'd like to get it all working. I worked with a Linksys tech who got NAT to "Open" by configuring triggered port forwarding. I am happy to have my issue resolved, but confused why uPnP didn't work? I mean it was easy for me to configure port forwarding, but for my less technical friends, should I simply not recommend this router because it can't do basic uPnP?
I'm trying to stream music files to my A/V system. After weeks of encountering problems, I discovered that UPnP was disabled (by default) on the router. After enabling UPnP on the router, bingo......it worked. My A/V system has a Yamaha A/V receiver, which is a networking receiver capable of net radio and accessing/playing files on my PC. Net radio works fine. The problem I'm having is that when I shut down the A/V receiver, turn it back on, I can't access the files. I have to disable UPnP, save changes, and then reenable UPnP, save changes. When I do that, all is well and my receiver "sees" my PC and files. Shut down the receiver, turn it back on, back to square one and have to do the do the disable/enable routine again. PC is WinXP, using Windows Media Player 11. Seems the "enable" UPnP desn't "stick", even though it shows enabled on the setup page.
I have a BEFSR41v3 and am trying to enable UPnP on the router. However, after I activate UPnP in my browser and the webpage reloads (after the common status screen that says you have to wait 5 seconds and you will be redirected). I am prompted for a password. But for some reason, it will not accept any password that I enter. In order to even get to the settings to UPnP in the first place, you must enter the correct password to access the settings. So I believe I am using the correct password, so why is it not accepting the correct password? I have had to reset my router to factory default settings (by pressing and holding the reset button for 30 seconds) multiple times because of this. But each time after enabling UPnP it will not accept the default password of admin nor will it accept any password that I assign it afterwards. I have noticed however that the "Filter Internal NAT Redirection" which should be set to enabled by default has been set to disabled even after I have reset the router. I have activated UPnP on the router before without trouble but have had to reset the router to factory default settings afterwards because of other reasons.
I have a Linksys router (model BEFSR41) and I all the outputs going to two computers and two gaming systems (X360 and PS3). I have had the router for over a year and it works fine, but I recently decided to attempt to have my 360 access the media on my computer by linking the two together through the Media Center. To do this, I needed to enable my router to allow UPnP (according to Microsoft help). When I did enable this, the router would disconnect me every 2-5 seconds from the internet, then would reconnect me right away.I have no clue why it was doing this (it occured across all of my devices) so I just disabled UPnP and things went back to normal. How to fix this so that I can have a consistent and stable connection when I have UPnP enabled?
I have a Nat Strict problem with my router model WRT160N. I want to make a dedicated server with UT3.I tried many things like disabled all security in the router or disable UPNP, fowarding every ports that Unreal Tournament need or DMZ settings. I am running a batch file to start the dedicated server... but still have '' Nat is now strict'' in the log of my batch file. I cant see my server in the master server list inside the UT3 game. I tried to make the server without my router, directly connected to the modem and then it works instantly.

BEFSR81 v3.0.I selecting Enabled UPnP and now I cannot access the router. When I enter the default admin for the password in the Authentication Required screen. I get the following screen: 401 Authorization RequiredThis server could not verify that you are authorized to access. Either you supplied the wrong credentials(e.g., bad password), or your browser doesn't understand how to supply the credentials required.I didn't enter anything new into the username or password fields.
I have a customer who is having some issues with 5m passive HP twinax cables, 537965-001, with a Chelsio 10G NIC. Aside from NIC driver issue, if NX-OS recognizes this SFP+, should it be expected to work in a 5020 running 4.2(1)N1(1)? Whether Cisco has certified passive HP twinax cables? I have included output to 'transceiver details' to a Cisco twinax and the HP (WL GORE) cables.

I have a modem Scientific Atlanta 2100. I just installed windows 8 pro 64bit and when installing the driver to use the usb cable modem does not recognize it and simply not installed. I wonder if it is possible to use my usb cable modem or simply incompatible with my windows 8 64bit pro.
