Netgear N-150 Can't Connect To Internet

I have a functioning wireless network at home, but I can't get my computer to connect to the internet. I bought a new wireless usb adaptor (Netgear N-150, WNA1100VC) and tried to install it. The computer at first connected to the internet, but the next day it did not. I unistalled the software and tried to reinstall it, but I got an error message saying the driver was not digitally signed and I should contact the provider. I have done this, and Netgear have given me instructions on how to fix. The problem is that now when I packed up my computer and re-assembled so I can plug the ethernet cable directly into it, I still can't connect to the internet.I get a message saying I'm connected to the wireless network, but can't connect to the internet.When I click on the "Diagonose Problem" it says the following:Windows Network Diagnostics Window.There might be a problem with one or more network adaptors on this computer
1. The network adaptor "Realtek RTL8168C (P)/8111C(P) Family PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet NIC (NDIS 6.0)" is experiencing driver or hardware related issues
2. Make sure your internet protocol bindings are correct - Ensure that "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)" and "Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6)" are selected in the configuration for the network adaptor "Local Area Connection"[code]

In Room 1 Computer 1 and computer 2 are connected to the Verizon box via ethernet cables using port LAN 1 & LAN 2.In Room 2 I have Computer 3 connected to the Verizon box using Wireless I then added a ethernet cable into Computer 3 that goes into a Netgear box the ethernet cable goes into the Internet port I then run a ethernet cable into port 1 in the netgear box into the Xbox 360 and on computer 3 I bridge the wireless and LAN connection this then lights up the netgear box showing Internet and Gives the Xbox internet connection but Computer 3 shows and will not connection to the internet just that it is on the LAN network.

I am running Windows Vista and we recently got a new wireless router to work with our Blu-Ray player. The desktop works, but not the laptop. I can connect to the local network, but not the internet. The laptop worked before we got the new router, and it works on another network. Our new router is a Netgear WNR-1000 v3. I get a response when I ping 127.0.0.1.

I cant get this to work and maybe it's not possible to even do it. I have 2 laptops one old running XP and one new running 7. I have DSL Sprint modem that works fine when directly wired to either laptop. A friend gave me an old Netgear Wrt54g wireless router he had laying around so I could connect both laptops to the internet. I cannot do this wired or wireless. When I try wired the internet doesn't work. When I try to do it via wireless the new Windows 7 laptop says it isn't compatible. Any way to get this to work either way on both? Or do I need to pick up a new router. Also, I would prefer a wired connection so any recommendations for a wired router that will work with this setup.

I bought a Netgear WN3000RP Extender for better wifi range, because on my room upstairs I have no signal at all (so called dead spots) So, I installed it a few months ago and all was working fine, untill we had to leave the house for vancation. Someone in the house pulled the extender out of the electric outlet. A few weeks later we pulled it back in it, but here started the problem: I installed the extender again, but now without any succes. (Just incase you want take a look: [URL]
There are 4 LED lights attached to this extender. 3 of them are lighting, but the 4th won't light at all. LED's: [URL]
I did the exact same procedures as exampled in the installation manual, but nothing worked. I always got this error on the end of the unsuccesful installation: Move the extender closer to the existing router or gateway.
Im really sure the extender is in the range of my actual router!
I've tried everything from restoring to factory defaults to WPS, DPS, disabling security, Nothing works.. I always get stuck on the error. (With WPS I press both the buttons on the extender and the router, but they cant find each other.)

Cannot connect to Internet. Have a Netgear DGN2000 modem-router. Using XP Pro, AT+T ISP.Get to 'admin','password' page and sometimes get to Setup wizard but never able to finish it.AT+T checked line and said it was OK. Took all filters off phone lines and only have phone jack with router hooked up to it, so no interference is there. Just have DSL, 'dry loop'.Lights on router are (Green)Power,(Green) Port, (Green)Wireless,and (Green)blinking DSL, (RED) Internet light. When I leave router on these are the lights. Must turn router off so I can use Netgear unsecured network for internet on a wireless laptop running Vista.

I have Netgear router and can't connect to Sony TVI thought earlier comments would solve my problems with my Sony KDL32EX713 but No.I didn't do anything at the router admin side as I couldn't see what could be changed (I'm on Vista). Its IP is 192.168.0.1I looked at adding a wireless device but it lost me.On the TV I tried the manual set up on that Bordersman suggested with the above in the default and DNS lines. leaving the sub net unchanged at 255.255.0.0 and the IP as 192.168.1.15.I said No to Proxy sever (didn't understand the comment about DHCP. I have cable broadband internet. My internet modem is a Ubee D3.0. It is connected to my Netgear N600 Wifi router which have my computer and DirecTV hooked up to it via ethernet. My wifi went down the other day. Devices were connected, but were not getting any internet service. In troubleshooting, I attempted to dial in to the router using www.routerlogin.net as well as 192.168.0.1, and I could not get into the router. I assumed the router must have crashed, and I only purchased it a month ago, so I took it back to the store and exchanged it for a new one. I got home and plugged it in, still not working. I can't access it using the above mentioned methods, and the setup software does not detect a router present. I unplugged the router and hooked the computer up directly to the internet modem. Still no luck. The computer does show a network connection in the system tray, but with no internet. I plugged my laptop in to the internet modem, and I am able to get internet just fine from my laptop. I even did a system restore to a restore point last week when I know the internet was working. No luck.

I have a Netgear N300 Wireless Router (WNR2000), and I am trying to connect the internet through it. The internet light stays amber, and though the router recognizes it, I can not connect to the internet. My computer also doesn't seem to recognize the router at all. Installation CD will not work either.

I recently installed a NetGear router to my PC in order to do online gaming. Now my laptop does not connect to the internet. I have spent over 9 hours on the phone with Centurylink (the internet provider); Netgear (the router) and HP (the laptop). Each one says its not their problem. The laptop can find our connection, it says "Connected". However it then says "Internet access denied".

i have two computers in my house, the main one is connected to the internet with a Netgear N600 router. Computer 2 connects to that connection wirlessly with a D-link adapter.However after i reinstalled the OS to the main one, computer 2 suddenly is unable to even see the connection. i checked my smartphone which also used to connect when i was home and that can't see the connection either.

N900, WNDR4500, works fine as long as broadcasting SSID on 2.4, but if broadcasting SSID is turned off neither of wireless computers (windows 7 & 8) will reconnect.

We recently connected the Netgear WNR2000 to our modem. All wireless devices connect just fine, except for our Roku XD. It says there is an activation error. I've reset the box, unplugged, changed the channel via wireless settings. What's next??? I'm quite frustrated and would like to get this to work. The message I get is "activation issue. There was a problem connecting to the Roku server". Argh!! It was working fine with the other wireless modem/router (versalink 327W), but it kept going off (as in the signal would drop and we would have to turn it off/on to get it to work) and connected the netgear router to it today.

I have Windows 7 64 bit.I bought a Netgear DGN2000 approximately two years ago. It is working well.Currently, there is good connectivity between my laptop and the modem/router (wired and wireless).I worked on my desktop this morning, uninstalled some programmed, but must have uninstalled a driver or something.I inserted the Resource CD, which installs the modem (although it is installed). I just bought a DGND3700, but can't get wifi working. It connects to the internet fine, but devices can only connect via ethernet cable. I can see the SSIDs - both 2.4GHz and 5GHz - but whenever I try to connect, after entering the password I'm told that "Windows was unable to connect to (SSID)". Of course, the Windows troubleshooter, but no luck. This problem happens across all my PCs and phones. The router has the latest firmware version. All blocking, access control, etc. settings are turned off.

I try to maintain a sizable network at my workplace. We have 10 desktops, 3 laptops (sometimes more) 4 printers/fax, etc.etc. I have just ordered a new HP Pavilion Slim-line S5000 Series with Windows 7 Pro. I cannot get it to connect to the Network. I have set up the server (which runs windows server 2008) with an account called "communications" I have named the computer "communications". I go to the system and security>system: computer name,domain, workgroup settings>change settings. I enter all the information correctly, and it tells me it cannont find the network path. This is happening on this brand new computer, and our old dell optiplex 760 (running windows vista pro). We use a netgear pro-safe 24 port 10/100 switch hub, and a linksys wireless G broadband router model WRT54GS.

connecting my old laptop to my router (Netgear WNDR3700v2) The router is an N router but is backwards compatible, but my laptop can't find it. The laptop is an LG LE50-5273V. I looked into the device manager and found two network adapters; 802.11b/g wireless adapter and Marvell Yukon 88E8036 PCI-E Fast Ethernet Controller. So it should be able to connect to it? Besides from that laptop I have another PC connected to the router and it works (Using N), Will I then be able to combine both N with B/G?
