My laptop is experiencing internet problems. I cannot connect wirelessly. It says I'm connected and my strength is excellent, but when I open google chrome i get Error 105 (ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED) unable to resolve the server's DNS address. I tried reloading and changing the settings as it says the issue might be also restarted the laptop numerously and still nothing happens.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI can not connect to the internet, even though it says that Im connected. What happens is when I boot up I will get internet access for about 2-3 minutes or enough togo to about a couple web pages and then connectivity will drop and I'll get the yellow triangle with an exclamation point on my network icon. The error traingle will go away after a few minutesand say I have connection again but when I go to a site I'll get "Can not display page" error. Things Ive tried was restarting the modem and router(it cant be a problem with either of them because I have another computer hooked up to the router and I have internet access on my other computer). Ive tried resetting winsock and renewed ip, no luck. Ive tried reinstalling Windows 7 64bit then also 32 bit. Thought maybe it could be a problem with the 64 bit. Ive gotten rid of my Nortons(read that could be a problem) so I uninstalled it. Ive tried unchecking Ipv6(or whatever it is) didnt work. I looked for Bonjour file in my services, didnt have it. I even bought a new NIC and my computer recognizes it but it doesnt work either. Drivers are all up to date, so says my computer when I tried to update them.

I have blocked some websites and i dont want ppl know that it is blocked by router because in D-Link default error msg it is clearly mentioned that " This page is not included in the router's Allowed Web Site List". Is it possible that i redirect error page to some other site? or change error message?

I'm not sure what changed. I tried changing the IP# and subnet mask of my laptop and I still can't connect. I tried resetting the router to factory defaults.

I am seeing the Air Quality graphs on WCS. On the Worst 802.11a/n and 802.11b/g/n Interferers windows, I am see a WCS System Error Page message but only in those windows. I have gone over the documentation and dont see that I need to enable anything else on WCS.

In this scenario all my mail service sites are opening.If we apply the these ACLs and Class-Maps, only my mail service sites only affecting.

After the login, default page should be "Home", but if activating "Anyconnect". it always goes to Anyconnect as a first page. If disabling "Anyconnect" using SSL VPN Customization Editor --> Portal --> Application, it always goes to the other one. Never get "Home" as a first page, can I set the first page manually?

So far it has been working well and I can log in on my home laptop and upload documents and look at presentations etc. Today for no reason when I try and log in I get the message Error Code 500: Internal Server Error and the webpage does no appear.I have had no problems previously and this has only happened today and yesterday, I went down to the college and accessed the website fine from the computers in the library but still no joy from my home computer.

Everywhere I've looked online tell me that the IP is http://192.168.1.254/ and default PW "default" and "telus". But no matter how many times I reset the router...going to http://192.168.1.254/ loads nothing.
The router SAYS Gigaset SE567 on it, and looks identical to the one in the picture...so theres no mistaking it for another router.

View 6 Replies View RelatedIt usually consists of installing routers in units. Occasionally I have to change the routers IP address to keep it from conflicting with other routers. To do so, I need to get to the router options to do that. Normally, typing in 192.168.0.1 gets me there with no problems. Sometimes it's a 10.0.10.1. (They have D-Link DIR-615 routers.) To make sure I know which address I need, I use the cmd and ipconfig /all. Some of the routers spit out an IPV6 address instead of the IPV4 that I need to access the router. Even after a factory reset, it still does this. I can't get in to change anything.

(which is where I left the router's IP address set) I don't get the DIR-655's admin login GUI, just a timeout. Since my main Linksys router is on 192.168.1.1, and my cable modem is at 192.168.100.1, and the DHCP addresses handed out by the Linksys router is from 192.168.1.100 to 192.168.1.149, getting to 192.168.0.1 should not be a problem. Functionally, the DIR-655 makes a great access point, wired and wireless are working very well, and I don't see any reason why I can't get to the web GUI admin page.I should be able to get to the DIR-655 router via the WAN port, as suggested in the procedure above, but I'd really really like to be able to get to it without having to connect a cable to the DIR-655 WAN port.

I finally reformatted my computer today and still the problem exists. So, I've continued to try and figure it out, but have been completely unsuccessful. I have been able to pull up a partial web page by typing in the IP address. All things point to a DNS issue and even the Network Diagnostics tool indicates that.
