My coworker told me that port 25 is closed in office , so I can't use [URL] as SMTP Server and to ask for direct line instead of 25.I don't know how to use/setup direct line
I have 2 subnets bought from my provider 194.102.98.128/27 and 194.102.98.160/27.
From my provider a have the following setup: IP Address: 86.120.151.66 Netmask: 255.255.255.128 Gateway: 86.120.151.1 DNS (1): 213.154.124.1 DNS (2): 193.231.252.1 My IPs are static routed by my provider thought 86.120.151.66 .
Everything works perfectly except when I try to sent an email. The email gets sent (eventually), but afert a long waiting time, 45-60 sec. The connection is opened instally to the server but then just hangs there for 40-50 sec. The problem is that a have an aplication on a server that has to send confirmation emails, and that aplication is limited to a 30 sec timeout for conecting to the mail server, much less then the 45-60 sec that I have now. The mail server is hosted by a data center, it is not in my networks (location).
I have tried deleting the ESMTP inspection, that doesn't work. Pinging my mail server rezults in a average time of 20 ms. And when a do a tracert the hight value in a hop doesn't usually pass 80 ms, the average is 20-25 ms.
The problem is ONLY when sending emails. Everything else works perfect, including receiving emails from the same server.
I have a Windows Server 2008 box. Let's call it the management server. It has two NICs. Let's say NIC1 has an IP of 10.1.1.5. NIC2 has an IP of 192.168.1.5. NIC1 can get to the internet. NIC2 is internal only and does not connect to the outside world.Now - I have a UPS on the internal network. Say 192.168.1.6. The management server and UPS are connected via a somewhat cheap but functional router. The UPS can not get directly to the internet or the 10.1.1.0 network. I would like to configure the UPS to be able to send notification emails through the exchange server that is, say, 10.1.1.10.
I sold a rv220w to a customer. I've configured it but it seems that the router doesn't allow anonymous smtp. I've configured outlook on a computer with authentification request and it's working fine.
There is a software on a computer that I'm unable to change the authentification and it's not working ( Not able to send message ) I've search in the router and I've disabled these rule : "Block Anonymous ICMP Messages".
Cisco works LMS 4 is very complicated tool for me and it is very hard to configure any cisco device what I need to monitor.Currently I have 3750-X configured, properly discovered and added to DCR. I would like to receive SMTP messages(mail) from LMS if some event occurs. For example when link UPDOWN occurs or when LOGIN_FAILED occurs and so on. I tried to configure it in Monitor > Monitoring Tools > Fault Monito, but without siccess. LMS tell me that there are no devices available.How can I configure some notification so it is able to send me message via smtp?
I have a problem, i have a DIR-620 wireless router, i can connect to wifi my both ipad and iphone but i cannot connect my laptop, even cannot access the admin page for settings, cz it seems my laptop cannot see my my network...
Just yesterday my laptop could connect to the Internet. Now it would just connect to the modem (via wi-fi), and there would be no Internet connection. All other computers in my house using wi-fi work fine.Here are my results when I type in the ipconfig /all in the command prompt.

My router is not connecting my laptop to the internet. The icon at the bottom states that I am connected and have an excellent connection.checking the router, starting and restarting router but still no connection.
Vaio would not connect using WEP 40-bit key. Logged into Airport Extreme router with Airport setup utility for Windows from Apple. Updated firmware from 5.1.1 to 5.7. Reset Encryption from WEP to WPA/WPA2 Personal.Connected Vaio on Wifi using WPA2. Removed ethernet cable and connection was good at 54MB/s.Completed Windows Update
I have a windows 7 laptop and i have bridged my wireless with my ethernet port on it, i have directly connected my ubuntu server to my windows 7 laptop via crossover, and ubuntu says its connected, but it will not recieve internet. I can get 2 windows pc's to bridge successfully, but not a linux machine. Is there some configuration im missing or something that i missed? the goal is to get internet for my ubuntu server.
i use an asus k50c and used to send wireless network connection from it until recently when i upgraded my OS to windows 7 and changed my antivirus to AVG internet security 2011. whenever i try to set up an ad-hoc network, it doesnt prompt me to turn on internet sharing which used to be there before and now no other computer can connect to my network, though it shows on the wireless network list.
At each time I open the internet page,at the left in the bottom of the page near of the STARt buton, it's written:"Error on page".And like that I can't read my emails on YAHOO and I can't post any picture in FACEBOOK.
So i have a dell latitude e6400 laptop running windows XP. Now whenever I connect to my home wireless network, it will connect fine but randomly it will stop sending or receiving data. Therefore i cannot connect to any websites and i get a connection error. I check my connection though and it is running through an excellent connection.
It says unidentified connection when we connect to the network, and when we go to the "connect to" and connect to the network i setup it will sometimes say "with limited access"!?I have used the diagnose tools on his computer. I have restarted his computer, the modem and the router. We have disconnected and reconnected several times to the network for the new router but nothing works, the only way he can get on the internet with this router is if plugged directly to it with an ethernet cable. We have put the old router back up but I really don't want to keep using it, it is so old and I don't remember the password for it.

I can't receive mails from some customers, asa 5505 log get the message: "ASA_Outside|Deny TCP (no connection) from X.X.X.X/35702 to ASA_Outside/25 flags ACK on interface outside".
I have a Cisco RV042 Wired Router. I've got a static IP and a MS Small Business Server in my Router Network. I have forwarded the essential ports to use the IIS and the Exchange Server of my SBS2011 (https, http, smtp, rpc).
I can use the IIS, if the firewall is activated, but the exchange Server can not receive any emails. I have also created some firewall access rules for the mentioned services but without success.
’m somewhat new to Cisco routers this is my first attempt at getting one to work. I work in an environment with multiple locations, most are using the Cisco Model: 2911/K9 or the Model: 2921/K9 routers running IOS Version 15.0.We just added a new small office and all I had in the way of a router was a Cisco C1841-IPBASE-M router, running IOS Version 12.4.When setting up the C1841 I kept the configuration pretty much the same as the others allowing for the differences in the OS. I can remote into the 0/0 (outside port) from over the network, I can ping to that port without fail, but I can’t send or receive traffic from the 0/1 (inside port).
I have got a PC at work (Windows XP Pro SP3) that is on two networks with the IPs 10.20.30.167, subnet 255.255.255.0 (internet enabled) and 10.0.0.20, subnet 255.255.255.0 (no internet). On the 10.0.0.X network there is a gateway with the IP 10.0.0.200 allowing access to another network; 192.168.60.X, subnet 255.255.255.0 (no internet). I have added the route on my work PC to access the 192.168.60.X network via this gateway and I can access all PCs on all three networks from this PC.Now, I am using LogMeIn Hamachi so that I can access the networks at work from home. The PC at work is the 'gateway' PC on the Hamachi network. When installing Hamachi it created a new network connection and bridged this connection with my 10.20.30.167 network adapter to allow access to the 10.20.30.X network from an external PC when connected using the Hamachi VPN connection. I have manually configured my Hamachi connection on my PC at home to the IP 10.20.30.169, subnet 255.255.255.0, with the default gateway set to 10.20.30.167. I can ping all computers on the 10.20.30.X network from my PC at home.
I then added a route on my PC at home for 10.0.0.X to go via 10.20.30.167 (the 'gateway' on the Hamachi network). I also enabled IP forwarding on the 'gateway' PC (my PC at work). I can not ping any PC on the 10.0.0.X network from my PC at home apart from 10.0.0.20 (the other NIC in the Hamachi gateway PC) and 10.0.0.30 (another PC on the 10.20.30.X network that is also on the 10.0.0.X network).Now, with IP forwarding enabled on the Hamachi gateway PC I would assume after adding the route on my PC at home for 10.0.0.X traffic to go via 10.20.30.167 that I would be able to ping all PCs on the 10.0.0.X network...I also tried adding a route on my home PC to send all traffic for the 192.168.60.X network via 10.20.30.167 which has a route via 10.0.0.200 to the 192.168.60.X network, but this also did not work.I then tried adding the 10.0.0.20 network adapter into the network bridge that the Hamachi connection made, also keeping both IPs (10.20.30.167 and 10.0.0.20) on this network bridge by adding them into the 'IP Settings' in the 'Advanced TCI/IP Settings'. I also added the 10.0.0.200 gateway for good measure. I still cannot ping any PC on the 10.0.0.X or 192.168.60.X networks from my PC at home.
I have also added the route to the 10.20.30.X network on a PC on the 10.0.0.X network to go via 10.0.0.20 and tried pinging a PC on the 10.20.30.X network but this also has not worked. Also setting the default gateway on a PC on the 10.0.0.X network to 10.0.0.20 does not allow this...Surely bridging the networks 10.20.30.167 and 10.0.0.20 on my work PC would allow another PC on the 10.0.0.X network to access the 10.20.30.X network after adding the route or setting 10.0.0.20 as the default gateway?
I can't seem to send config changes to our syslog server on a 2950, I'm fine with 2960's and 3750's. The Cisco 2955 is using the latest IOS c2955-i6k2l2q4-mz.121-22.EA14.bin.
I have a snmp trap sent every 30 seconds from one of my cisco switches (a stack of 3750 to be precise): ccStatusMemberStatusChange. Do you know what it is and why it is sent continuously?
I have two computers. Computer A is connected to the internet through GSM network. Computer A also have NIC adapter which is connected to local network with IP 192.168.33.10/24.
Computer B in connected to internet with DSL connection.
On both machines I use TeamViewer to make VPN secure tunnel between this two computers. Computer A gets IP:7.200.100.2 Computer B gets IP:7.200.100.3
How can I access from computer B to specific device with IP 192.168.33.250 which is on local network of computer A?
Is it possible to route traffic from VPN to other local network, or it is some possibility to use port forwarding from VPN connection to specific IP address on the local network to specific port number?
We have a PPPoE DSL link with a dedicated IP providing by a small ISP(ISP A) in Canada. We are having trouble reaching a small group of IPs in the US to be able to access some client resources.We have eliminated all possible local issues by removing the firewall and making a direct connection to the ISP. We have also had numerous tests prove successful when we use other local ISPs.
Trace routes show that the packets get dropped a few hops from the destination on a US ISP(ISP B).The routes even appear to be very similar to the other ISPs we tested. We escalated to ISP A and they say that everything is working properly on their end and the problem is with ISP B. They claim they "have no partnership with ISP B and therefore cannot create a ticket to get it resolved". I tried calling ISP B but I get nowhere because I am not a customer of theirs.
My solution is to give ISP A the boot, but management has denied that request because of the amount of effort required to switch over. How I can escalate this? Is there anyway to go over and above the ISPs?
