Protocols / Routing :: To Make People Access The Application On Server
Apr 16, 2013
I have a computer named server and it ip is 192.168.0.5 and a live ip xxxxxxxx which is a private ip. on this system my oracle middle wear is running.I just want that people may access my application which is running on 'server' through public ip. Is it possible. If it is. then how.=]
I want to learn how to make application server?I have Windows server 2008 enterprise edition and it is connected to 10 Client Machines. I want to install software programes only on server and use them on client machines without knowing server password.
How can I make sure R11 is able to get the OSPF routes of all the areas. Make sure area-278 does not receive any ospf routes from other areas as well as from ASBR routes from other areas. At the same tim, area-278 should be able send successfully RIP routes that we receive from R2 to backbone area.
i need to know that how can i make vlans in Linksys SRW224G4 Layer 2 manageable switch , because i have 100 users network having lots of users using more then 1 ip to connect 4 different servers having different ip class pools, what i need is, i want to use only single ip pool with Class B Address like 172.16.6.0 for all network users which all connect to far end servers through layer 2 Linksys SRW224G4 manageable switch controlling to allow different IP pools ? like 172.16.1.0 / 172.16.55.0 / 172.16.99.0 and 192.168.1.0
I want to be able to use port 1-80 for all outgoing traffic. I have a VPS outside my home, which can redirect the packets to the prober ports. Is it possible with an application on the computer and VPS? Or is it impossible?
I have a Compaq mini CQ10-100 Netbook, and I am trying to Make a Wireless internet connection through a D-link router. My ISP is Cox Cable. The Netbook is connected to my wireless network, but will not connect to the internet. It keeps asking me to transfer information, via thumb drive, from a wireless access point, but my router is my wireless connector and it doesn't have a USB port to plug in a thumb drive. How do I get this netbook hooked up to the internet?
I want make a workgoup network with my friend by VPN.we are connected throw internet to make the VPN connection.I configed a VPN server with incoming connection. client connected to server succesfully.but sever and client havent any data send or recieve. the server dont set an ip for client.this is connection propertice: as you see there is no data sending or dara recieving..Im using ADSL Modem(tp-link 8811) and have two lan networks with Modem and another computer.
Currently, my company runs a DC and exchange server in the building. It is also hosting our website with IIS7. All AD users currently have @company1.com.au email addresses. We have just started an off shoot company and would like to setup emails in exchange so that we can automatically assign and manage emails on the same exchange server. so that each user hasWhat is the best way to do this?At the moment, company2.com - company is hosted outside with someone else. Is there a way that he can direct the mail to us so that he hosts the website but we host the email server?
I have a desktop that I have my Minecrarft Server on. It was working fine until I forwarded port 25565 to it, and now I cant use firefox or internet explorer. I can access the server from my other computer on the same network, but none of my friends can from their houses.
I have a laCie hard drive which we use to store all our files. There are 2 of us in the office and we would both like to be able to access the storage at the same time. Currently our laCie can only be seen on our desktop's if only one computer is connected (using either firewall and/or USB connectors).
Lastly, we also back up our files using dropbox, however when you drag and drop the files into dropbox from the desktop, the copying of the files uses the hard drive (HD) memory thereby reducing available HD space. Any way to upload folders (not individual files) onto dropbox without using any HD space?
I'm trying to set up VLANs in my network. So the first device after the internet cloud is my ISP modem/router. I don't really use the router part. The second device is my Linksys WRT54G router with DD-WRT firmware on it.Between the two, there is a subnet just for them. After the DD-WRT router, there is a subnet for my LAN.The third device is my netgear GS108T switch (with vlan support) to which almost all my computers are hooked up. One of those computers is my server that is domain controller and has the roles as shown in the image. What I would like to do is to create several virtual machines in Hyper-V. The trick is that I want to isolate them from the rest of my network. They should be able to access (and be accessed) from the internet but not the rest of my network. So my whole network should be in the same VLAN but each VM should be individually in separate VLANs.
1) I've allready created the VLANs on my Netgear Switch. I know my DD-WRT also has VLAN support. Do I need to create the same VLANs on that also?
2) How to configure the VLAN part of the Hyper-V server? (by the way, my server OS is Windows Server 2008 R2 with the hyper-v role, it's not the bare-metal hyper-v)Should my Virtual Switch be in VLAN 10 and my VMs in the other VLANs?Should the port (on the netgear switch) in which my server is connected, be in VLAN 10 (so that my server is accessible from every other computer in the network)?
I am trying to connect two Asterisk Server (with DHCP server enabled on both) on a HP Pro Curve 2626 switch. Server A has IP address 192.168.2.1 and Server B has IP address 192.168.3.1. I created a two new VLAN on switch, VLAN2 for 192.168.2.0 network and VLAN3 for 192.168.3.1 network. I put the command "ip routing" on the switch. My goal is to be able to ping ip address from PC 1(VLAN2) to PC 2(VLAN3) and vice versa... I'm not sure what I am missing... By the way, there is NO ROUTER involved on this set up. I tried to Google and it says HP ProCurve 2626 is a Layer 3 switch so IP routing should be possible.
configure Cisco Ace 4710 ?Note :- Just a testing face I need to access my one server(192.168.1.11 : 80) through VIP :- 10.13.77.10 , I have only one Cisco Router 2800 and One L2 Cisco Switch 2960 and Cisco Ace 4710 . So I already configured 2 Different VLANS in Switch (Vlan 10 & Vlan 100) and by router I given the ip address of that Vlans with Inter Routing Vlan. My Connectivity is like this :-- Router Ethernet 0/0 --- 10.13.77.1/24 with vlan 10) & Router Ethernet 0/1 ---- 192.168.1.1/24 with vlan 100 ) connected with switch after that I configured ACE LB and connect the ACE interface with switch Like that ---- Connect to ACE Interface 2/3 vlan10 with switch vlan10(Ethernet port 2-12) and Connect to ACE Interface 3/3 vlan100 with switch vlan100(Ethernet port 13-24) .Testing to access server from Switch Vlan10 to Vlan 100 where my server is there.
Configuration :---
ACE> client side Vlan10 (10.13.77.4/24) , VIP :- 10.13.77.10, SM-- 255.255.255.255 ACE> server side Vlan100 (192.168.1.5/24), Web server -- 192.168.1.11 with 80 port ACE> Managment Vlan 1000 (172.16.6.5/24) , ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 10.13.77.1
I already Configured in Routed mode but From Vlan10 ip subnet example like 10.13.77.12(Client or User PC) tried to access server 192.168.1.11 with VIP http://10.13.77.10 but not responding , if i access server with real IP then accessible (why boz there is inter vlan routing)?
Access Server through VIP (ACE 4710) but very slow
Accessing the server very slow.., check my real configuration... this configuration is for application server and after this i have to configure more serverfarm for different server like webmail etc. in this ACE 4710. I have only one ACE 4710 .
ACE Version A4(2.0) = is there supports Probe with this version? without probe server will work but very slow.
VIP :-- 172.16.15.8 LB/Admin# sh run Generating configuration....
I ma having issues trying to import a .PEM file into an ACE 4710. The original file was a PCKS12 file that was converted to a set of .PEM files as I have no access to any server to do a file transfer. This has worked in the past. the error I get is "Error: File not of recognized types - PEM, DER or PKCS12, import failed". I am not sure what is exactly failing. The cert was converted to a .PEM and the ACE imported that fine.
I want to use one arm infrastructure of ACE4710. But I remember it was problem for back end server can not get logging for which client/ip address access the web server.
I can access the website in other places(such as my library, another house, my university, my towns book store, etc.) but not at my own house. I can access the website anywhere but my own home! I contacted my ISP provider and he said that the website was not blocked by the ISP provider because the ISP consultant was able to access the website .I know the problem isn't rooted in my computer and believe that the problem is IP related because I was not able to access the website on either of the three computers at my house.
I am using Solawinds syslog and trying to get our Cisco routers send syslogs to our syslog server. I followed the procedure on Configuring Cisco Devices to Use a Syslog Server from [URL] Our Cisco swtches are all sending syslog messages but not the routers. I compared the config with our access switches but can't seem to find the problem:
My computer won't connect to any of Google's servers. ANY of them. Gmail, docs, reader, nothin. I can visit youtube, but I cannot get to the log-in page. EVERY other site works pretty well. Heck, even using a site that uses a Recaptcha it doesn't load the recaptcha!Nothing wrong with my hosts file.
Tracert results in 6 successful hops and then times out (I think at my ISP?) the last 2 successful hops are chnddsrj01-ae2.0.rd.ph.cox.net And then langbprj02-ae2.rd.la.cox.net Then all time outs
My other PC is connected to the SAME wifi network right now, and I'm posting from it, and it works fine. Both are on XP. Reboots haven't worked. Happens on all browsers. Every other website I can find is just fine.
I have a little problem with installing my new router. There were quite a lot of problems with the old smc, so I've bought a TP-Link router. I installed it just alright, it said congratulations, you have internet. I don't have though, not even on the directly plugged computer. It's kind of frustrating, since the old router is still working like before. So I plugged an ethernet cable from the old router's lan to the tp-link wan and with that, the new network is working just fine. The problem with the internet access occurs only, if the router is directly plugged to the modem. (The computers do find the network but the connection is kind of offline.) I don't really know what could be the problem, since I'm a little new to routers. I've read almost everything in the new router's manual and I'm pretty sure it's installed correctly. (ADSL username and password copied from the old settings, mac address copied, all ip addresses pinged, done power cycle etc..) I thought about resetting the modem, but I'm a bit afraid of losing the old router's internet connection as well.
We have three home systems connecting to the internet. Our cable/phone/internet provider upgraded their phone service to digital and installed a new modem/router combo (three months ago). Since then we've not been able to access MSN.com on our XP laptop and droid tablet but can access it on our windows 7 laptop. When the router settings are changed to "Bridged" and the router firewall is turned off, we can connect. We've changed the modem and the problem still continues. Our cable provider is stumped and so am I.
I have reset the modem but after resetting it I can't go for internet anymore with computer or wifi . And after that I notice that my wifi is not under any security which is free for all.can I know how to fix this problem ?the main problem is mostly that can't go internet after reset it
So I am working on a website with MySQL/PHP that I have been developing on my Linux box. I wanted to show a friend my progress so I temporarily opened up port 80. So he was able to just type in my public IP and it brought him to my localhost index.
My question is, when I type in my IP address in the URL bar, does the web browser automatically just assume port 80? What happens if I want to have 2 different servers from the same local network and one is running through port 80 and the other is running through port 90? In this case, would I have to type ":90" to access the machine running on port 90?
I did not know the username and password for my DI-524 so I wanted to do a reset...used a paper clip and held the reset button for ten seconds, unplugged it, powered it up, and as per online instructions tried to type in 192.168.0.1 to access the username and password field so that I could enter "admin" and blank password. Here's where my lack of knowledge comes in. I am working off a MacBook with no Ethernet connection, just wifi. Is what I am trying to do even possible? Or does the computer I configure the router with have to be hardwired to the Internet while I do it?
I want transfer heavy files(like Psd format 2GB and more) every day. I tried in normal ftp's they are very slow. I have 10 mbps leased line. i want to speed up file transfer like aspera plugin.
I've been trying to configure my router which is linksys E1000 to forward port to my sharepoint server. Here is what I have done so far, setup single portforward to i.e 192.168.xx.xx using port 4848.Now my question is, do I need to configure sharepoint to receive this incoming connection. I do need to have my sharepoint be accessed anywhere on the web.
Main Site allows communication from Remote Site via VPN to Windows ServerMain Site also has a secondary subnet that communicates ONLY through internet but NOT to the Windows Server.Sonicwall 192.168.168.x is main siteRemote Site is 192.168.0.x connecting to Main Site to access shared folders on serverSecondary subnet at Main Site is 192.168.0.x using Windows XP PC's. They are accessing a linux server at 192.168.0.215 which Main Site has no access to.VPN remote ip's are 192.168.0.x - they can successfully access the Windows Server at 192.168.168.100 BUT NOT 192.168.0.215.GOAL: Want to connect Remote Site to Secondary subnetWilling to make router changes or whatever is necessary to get Remote Site to access Secondary Subnet with the only exception that the Secondary Subnet REMAINS.VPN DHCP is turned off but willing to turn it on.Willing to make the Linux Server 'discoverable' on the Windows Server. Don't know linux at all but another co-worker set it up and can make changes.
I have two wireless repeaters and can no longer access their set-up / admin page via default IP 192.168.10.1,I don't know the brand of the repeaters, which are commonly sold on eBay. Here's one example: eBay Item # 300829809133, They work well as repeaters, but it's frustrating that I can no longer access their set-up / admin page via default IP 192.168.10.1. Right now I have only one repeater plugged in and connected to my laptop via ethernet cable. The 2nd repeater is unplugged. The Wifi on my laptop is switched off and disabled, so I'm actually connected to the Internet via my laptop's ethernet port via ethernet cable to the repeater's ethernet port, then via wifi signal from the repeater to my Zyxel wireless router and Comcast cable modem. If I'm connected to the Internet via the repeater, why can't I access the repeater's set-up / admin page using default IP 192.168.10.1? When I enter http://192.168.10.1/ into Internet Explorer, I get only the error message "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage"
I recently bought a tenda w548d Version 2.0 Adsl2+ Modem router. it worked fine with its default settings and wired connection was ok when i chose DSL uplink while installing its driver from CD. But it couldn't connect wireless. There were strong signals but connected computer couldn't get access to the internet. so i tried using ethernet uplink instead of DSL uplink while reinstalling the software Since then the light of ADSL never lights, even it never blinks. now the software on the cd can connect to the router. i cannot access its settings using IP address in browser, the page wouldn't load. I am so worried. Can i revert the setting back to dsl uplink?I can connect to the internet very smoothly using my old router so you can't blame my phone line or lan wire. I have tried reset the new router many times but still the ADSL light never lights up. And the ADSL light is ok because when i turn the router on, it lights with all the others.
