Publishing A Local Website Using NO-IP (free Service) In CentOS?

I've just registered with NO-IP (free account), created a host, installed the client (in CentOS) and I want to see a website I'm running locally in that computer from another computer (via internet :). How do I access it?My host is "customtrack.no-ip.org "And in that unix box I've got a published website that I can access from any browser in the following URL: [URL]When I log in to from the browser from another computer I get the following error message:

How do I tell CentOS that I want to redirect that site I'm hosting locally [URL] to [URL]? I believe that's not done automatically. How do I configure the redirection?

We have a network of over 20 devices, all kinds (windows, android, mac enz...). Everything was going well until one of the mac-users tried to publish his website that contained a movie (at first the movie was 622 MB). If this user presses publish the internet is going away. The website won't publish, waiting doesn't work. While the internet isn't working I went to another pc in the network and started some ping experiments. I can ping any device in the LAN, outside the LAN something strange happens: let's say for 6 seconds it is ok, but then it fails for lets say 20sec, again 6 sec the ping returns ok (45ms), and goes down for a longer period. Eventually it is not coming back.The mac user himself cannot access the internet either. When the publishing is stopped, the internet is back in less than a second.
This problem is recent, and it isn't the first time this user published a video on his own website, on the same host with the same application (iWeb). I asked him to publish his site to a local folder and hand it over to me, I tried to publish it to the same host using my own FTP application (FileZilla), this worked without any problem (I am on the same network). This is what we tried:
- Compressing the video (it is now 26 MB, still not working), we have 2GB space from the host, no limits on filesize.
- Publishing the website without the video's, no problem
- I turned on logging (debugging level) in the modem/router, no entries at the moment things went wrong...
- I called the provider, they claim nothing is wrong at their systems.
So, can the modem be broken? I don't think so because I can use it with far more intensive tasks without going down.One thing is clear, it shouldn't be possible for one computer to block the internet for everybody, so changes in the configuration are needed (I think).

I have recently set up a computer on my network to host a website.So i have done the basics and created a Dyndns account etc.Now I can view the website via this domain flyingant.dyndns.org/ on computers outside of the network and the pc that it is hosted on.But my problem is that I cannot view the website on any other computer on the network, it takes me to the routers login page.

I'm trying to have a website name: remote.test.com route to a local IP address but can't seem to get it working with this router. I don't want to use the windows hosts file as there are different Operating Systems that will connect and so routing though this D-Link is the only option. I have my wireless router connected to a separate network switch though it's WAN port where other computers sit as well as the target machine. I can use the internet as normal like this so things are working fine.

System was running fine untill about two days ago. File and print sharing stop working. went to services and tried to restart "Computer Browser". It would not start due to a dependancy. Tried to start "Server Services" Got the following error. "Can not start Server Service on local computer, Error 2:The system cannot find the filed specified". The files srvsvc.dll 95KB 4/14/2008 The file srv.sys 327KB 4/14/2008.If I delete either of these files they are just created again. If I replace them with the new versions they are converted back to these files.I am running XP Pro SP3.

i just upgraded from the E4200 to the EA6500. i have a few websites on one of my machines, which i can access from outside my network no problem, but when i try to access it from inside the network, firefox gives the message "the connection to the server was reset while the page was loading". i did not have this problem with the E4200.

I'm having problems with a linux box we're using as a VPN/IPtables firewall. The setup is such that we're sitting this thing behind a basic Comcast cable modem will all the pass through options set. The outside facing interface is set to DHCP and grabs an IP address from Comcast. Inside interface is statically set with the same being said for the CIPE interface. The inside interface works until we plug up the outside. When we plug up the outside interface, all network traffic to the box effectively shuts down and the /var/log/messages is flooded with "neighbor table overflow" messages. Sometimes, this takes a few seconds to appear, and when that happens I can track some traffic hitting the far side of the tunnel, I.E. it works for a few fleeting seconds.

Any confirmation that the versions 8.6 and up don't allow publishing to more then one public range if IP addresses?
We have ASA5520 version 8.4 in deployment and there I can NAT to 3 different ranges of public IP-s.
With same configuration on ASA5525-X version 8.6 it will NAT only the range that the outside interface belongs to. Also tried the 9.0 version with the same result.

I'm using CentOS 6 in a virtual environment. When cloning a virtual version of CentOS, the old eth adapters are "removed" and replaced with new ones and net MAC addresses. However, the ifcfg-ethn files still exist. I am trying to figure out how to get CentOS to automatically rescan & recreate the network adapters / eth files, just like it did on install. url...
I know there is a quick way to do this in the GUI, but we are using a server so GUI does not apply in this case.
however Kudzu has been removed as of Centos 5 so I would rather avoid that. There is a procedure that Linux runs on initial install - what that is so I can manually trigger it?

We are going to "publish"(I don't know if this is correct word to use;)) our mail server on Cisco 2921. As far as I know it can be easily achieved with static NAT. But the thing is, we don't want to publish it on standard 443 port i.e. we want router to listen for https connections on other port than 443, and then redirect this connection to internal server with private ip.

When I create a service object or group and add the object to a new rule it never works.I mean the traffic match not the rule. I see not hits.I placed the rule on top of my access list to check if I do somethink wrong but it is not working. When I place only a service for example tcp/23 it is working.

We have a situation where services are stopped on the real servers. The probes fail and we confirm the services are not running on the server. We cannot access the ports from the ACE directly. We can still however acces the VIP on the TCP port (L4 VIP class-map). So we can still telnet to the VIP on the port from thr Client side of the network.This is on ACE 20 Modules deployed in Routed mode. The version of software is A2(3.3).
Tried removing multi-match and loadbalance policies as well as class-map and re-applying then re-appyling the service policy to interface. Same behavior,This is a problem at another level as some services are being monitored by GSS via TCP keep-Alive and this obviuosly causes a problem as the service then never goes off-line.

i'm trying to setup a local DNS server to manage small office local-only domain names for our servers. i have the DNS working properly (resolving local machines and using the ISP dns if it can't). so i put the DNS server ip into the "Static DNS 1" field of the router settings. the other 2 static dns fields are empty.the problem is that the router is still using the ISP dns server as the primary and my local dns server as the secondary. i verify this in two places. first, if i go to the "status" tab, DNS 1 shows the ISP server while DNS 2 shows my local DNS server. secondly, if i connect to the wireless device with a linux-based machine, the /etc/resolv.conf file shows the nameserver ips in the same incorrect order.

I would like to make my audio MP3 stories and audio books available to the visually impaired and others who can no read for any number of reasons. I have already written and recorded the material in MP3 format.I find that virtually everywhere I look I must pay, or the upload limit is so small that a story of any size can not be uploaded. I am on the lookout for free dynamic DNS for top level domain name.There seem to be quite a few free dynamic DNS providers for third level domain but I am having trouble finding one for top level domain.
