I see not hits.I placed the rule on top of my access list to check if I do somethink wrong but it is not working. When I place only a service for example tcp/23 it is working.

We have a situation where services are stopped on the real servers. The probes fail and we confirm the services are not running on the server. We cannot access the ports from the ACE directly. We can still however acces the VIP on the TCP port (L4 VIP class-map). So we can still telnet to the VIP on the port from thr Client side of the network. This is on ACE 20 Modules deployed in Routed mode. The version of software is A2(3.3).
Tried removing multi-match and loadbalance policies as well as class-map and re-applying then re-appyling the service policy to interface. Same behavior,This is a problem at another level as some services are being monitored by GSS via TCP keep-Alive and this obviuosly causes a problem as the service then never goes off-line.
I have a fresh installation of LMS 4.0 on windows server 2003, when i click to open topology i get error message : ANIServer service may be down or Host name isn't DNS resolvable

I was just wondering what the best way to secure my network would be. I was reading this article then the comments from others were saying that most of that info is laughable and really no good besides creating a password or encryption key. I have in the past had my wireless router set to not broadcast the SSID as well me creating my own SSID so it's not just Linksys or whatever and I had mac filtering enabled as well use WPA2 Personal and had a password. But I had some problems such as my Aunt's Laptop wouldn't connect unless I broadcasted the SSID and now my brother came back from Colorado and he said he never had any problems connecting to his friends Wireless network, I am assuming his friends was unsecured but here his Laptop won't stay connected unless I have an unsecured network so if I had it set to having a password it would connect but then disconnect after like 3 seconds but now it's staying connected but I have it completely unsecured. His drivers are completely updated from what I can tell.
His laptop is a Dell Inspiron 1500 series not sure exactly at the moment but I think it's the e1505. It's like 4 years old he got it in 2008 which when I was at dells website and typed in his service tag and found drivers the newest wireless card driver was from 2008. Anyways my router is a Linksys WRTU54G-TM Wireless G router with 2 phone ports. Anyways my network would consist of 2 Desktop PC's one running windows 7 1 running XP but both are right next to the router and are wired so nothing there then as for wireless there are 3 laptops at this time my brothers Dell E1505 I think (It Won't stay connected) and it runs Vista, my Dell Latitude C840 running XP (No problems)and an Acer extensa 4420 running XP (also no problems). Also my younger brothers friend comes over a lot and bring his Laptop which is an HP something running XP (no problems) Also we have a PS3, A Wii each have connected fine and possibly my brother from Colorado's Xbox 360. Also my younger brothers friend also brings his PS3 over and has no problems. There are also 3 ipod touches no problems either. We also have Ooma VOIP telephone service and that's just connected directly to the router

View 4 Replies View RelatedWhen I moved in to my roommate's house, her computer was already set up with an unsecured wireless network listed as Open and Disabled requiring no password. All of a sudden, it now has a lock next to the name in the list of wireless networks and asks me for a password when I try to connect. My roommate knows NOTHING about computers and has no idea how it happened. She has an Arris modem, Windows 7. I tried typing in the common IP address for Arris and I did get to a screen giving a lot of info about the system. But there was no where to log in or change any passwords.

I've also tried to diagnose the network with a tool, but I'm totally unable to connect to it so I'm unable to get any more information. If I try to connect to an unsecured network, it works perfectly. I'm totally stumped about this, due to the fact that I've used two different operating systems, two different adaptors and two different laptops (albeit the same brand).

My roommate can connect his laptop and desktop to the router wirelessly, but my iphone and laptop can't connect. I've searched and found many step-by-step guidesm kind of at my wit's end here.Right now when I connect wirelessly to the internet, it jumps on a connection labeled "linksys," which is my wireless router (BEFW11S4 ver. 4). It used to connect to "Jason" (me) but that's no longer a valid connection for some reason. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to set my connection back up properly and secure it as my own.

View 3 Replies View Related2 routers in series, is one more secure. I recently asked about setting up two routers in series as routers, one wireless one not. It was my understanding that the computers on the second router would not be visible to computers on the first router, the wireless one. My assumption was that this would make it more difficult for someone who got access to the wireless router to also access those computers on the second router.
View 3 Replies View RelatedWe have a linksys WAG54GS router the secure easy setup button of which was pressed instead of the on off switch when a reset was required. Now we can only browse the internet via a cable from the pc lan port to the router ethernet port. Things done :- Secure easy setup button held down for 10 seconds. Router went to an unsecured one now back to secure.
View 3 Replies View RelatedSo we just got a new router for our higher speed internet. The modem is an Actiontec Q1000 from Qwest. We used to live out in the middle of nowhere, so we never needed to secure our internet. Now we live close to neighbors and we need to encrypt the wireless. When I try any encryption, however, I can't connect at all. I have tried temporarily having it unlocked and I could connect without a problem. It also works fine when I'm using my Ethernet cord.
Heres my IPCONFIG.

I came home and was unable to wirelessly connect to my secure home network. I can connect to it secure and wired as well as unsecured and wireless, but not secured and wireless. I have done malware scans and checked for driver updates for both my netowrking card and the Linksys WRT54G router firmware...both are good. All of the other systems in the house can wirelessly connect to it while secured, so I've narrowed it down to clearly being a problem with my computer. I am using Vista Home Premium 64 bit on an ASUS G50VT.
