Does anyone know of a system that works like an internal version of Akamai? I'm looking to be able to distribute content from different locations across our network (with one URL) and I'm looking for an elegant way of doing so. Is there a product out there that does this sort of thing already?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI bought a DIR-655 for my parents after their old router died in a planned power outage. It's a rev. B1 model running the 2.00 firmware. It worked fine initially for a day or two with great wireless coverage, even in the previously low-signal spots in the house.Then the problems started. The router now has trouble loading any website. What you get is instead a page returned from the router saying something along the lines of "network unreachable, please check you internet settings" (I will go there today or tomorrow so I'll update the post with the specific error). Refreshing the page a few times sometimes makes it load, but extremely slow and then the same thing happens again a few moments later. The same thing happens on both wifi and through the router's LAN ports. If I connect a computer directly to the modem it works just fine, as it has always done before getting this router.I have disable QoS, NAT endpoint filtering and the firewall (SPI). I have also set the WAN port speed to 100Mbit/s in the router, to match what the modem is set to (also had issues with the default setting).

View 3 Replies View RelatedI just recently purchased a dell latitude E6400 laptop and I did a clean install of Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit on it, not an upgrade. I also installed service pack 1 right after the OS install. My problem is I cannot find a single driver that allows my WiFi card/connection to show up in Windows. I have been browsing the internet like a fiend and cannot find a single driver or solution anywhere for this. Every install or driver I try either shows an error saying "incompatable" or just does not fix the issue. All I want is my WiFi card to work, and dell did not have any drivers that worked off of its support site even when I put in my service tag number. compatable driver for the WiFi card for windows 7 64bit? Or steer me in the right direction to get the WiFi working on my laptop?
View 4 Replies View Relatedi have reviewed this configuration a couple of times and I am not seeing my error. I have two internal subnets, in different VLANs with the ASA being the default router. The internal zone works fine, but the zone called wireless on VLAN 13 doesn't. The firewall blocks all communications and the rules look correct to me. I want all traffic on this wireless subnet to be allowed to cross over the firewall and NAT to the outside interface, just as the inside zone does.

There are 26ap's connected to the 4402, a mixture of 1130's and 1142's. The memory error in the subject is popping up quite frequently.
No reference I can find on this forum or other Cisco.com.

View 6 Replies View RelatedWe are looking to upgrade our WiSMs to version 7.0.230.0, but the Cisco compatibility matrix suggests we need to upgrade WCS to the same version (it is currently on 7.0.172.0). My question is can we upgrade the WiSMs and do the WCS at a later date with no issues or do we need to do them at the same time to keep visibility of everything?
The reason I ask is that some of my clients use lobby ambassador for some of their users and they will need wireless access on the day we are due to upgrade WCS (the WiSMs are due to be upgraded and rebooted earlier that morning.
this computer was working on this router no problem. computer crashed and noiw computer is fine i connected it to my cable from ny desk top comutyer and works fine. It just cannot hook up to the wireless connection?

1. No applications such as google talk, steam, my ftp client or basically any computer application that requires internet for some of its functions. (all on my desktop PC connected to LAN)
2. The internet would partially work. I could get to some websites but it would often fail to load
3. Other computers are able to connect to the LAN and it work without an issue

View 9 Replies View RelatedI just recently bought a Telewell Wlan AP wireless access point and my problem is that I can't connect to the internet with Lan, hence can't get connection on my desktop. My laptop however works fine with wlan.
There's a wall socket which connects to a bigger student local network, I can connect my desktop to it directly and it works so there seems to be nothing wrong with my computer. I've had 2 routers before this, another Telewell that worked flawlessly and a Buffalo that cut the connection every now and then but didn't have this kind of problem.
I have the router plugged into the wall, set to get a dynamic ip (as it should be) and it does find Wan-side ip-address and dns-servers, as I could connect through wifi. So there doesn't seem to be a problem with that either. But for some reason Lan doesn't work. I can access the router through Lan, dhcp is on and I can see my desktop on the routers client list.
My pc will not pick up the internet, my iPad does through my wifi. I called my provider and they said my connection is fine, they mentioned not using a USB cable but when I take it out my wifi won't work on my iPad. My pc keeps saying not connected to the internet. I have a modem and a router, do I only need 1 maybe?

Both of these stations are running Windows 7.So essentially what I am trying to do here is route all traffic to the 10.zzz.zzz.0 subnet through the 10.xxx.xxx.147 gateway. Everything else should go through the 10.xxx.xxx.230 gateway. This is the intended behavior, and again it is working everywhere but that one station.
My computer worked fine on the eithernet, but I had to move it to a different room and now it won't recognize ANY WIFI connections. I know the wifi is working because I have laptops and phones connected to it. the computer is only 8 months old. It's an HP Pavillion AMD Phenom II 820 Quad-Core Processor, Windows 7 64 Bit, Wireless LAN 802.11b/g/n.
