Can I have some programs use my wireless connection, and some use my wired? they are connected to two different networks, (wired - school, wireless - phone tether). Also, is it possible to have two virtual machines be connected to two different network adapters, ie. wired and wireless?

I have 6 computers connected in LAN network. In one of the machines(client_1) i have installed the VMWARE.VMWare and Clinet_1 are talking to each other whereas VMWare and other clients are not getting connected. I tried various solutions from the internet but all in vain...i would like to have vmware as another machine in my LAN with incoming and outgoing connections to access files.
I am interested in purchaseing a WET610N wireless Bridge for my new XBOX 360 to connect to my existing wireless, and wire network. I was wonder if the device can be connected to a 5 port network switch and used on multiple devices such as my TV.
... and made a fundamental mistake of uninstalling adapters hastily without looking into it. Now when I try to re-install the adapters, I'm running into difficulties. Specifically, I don't have the CD-ROM I originally must have used, and the following message is popping up: "Files Needed - The file 'atl02_2k.sys' on Atlansic Fast Ethernet Adapter Installation Disk is needed. Type the path where the file is located and then click OK." Unfortunately, I don't have any idea if there is a path where this is located, so installation cannot complete.
The reason I took this option to begin with was that the wireless connection on my laptop [Asus, Windows XP] was acquiring network address without ever connecting fully to the internet. I had previously tried another of other methods, such as manually entering an IP address, to no avail.
i am having a problem with my desktop right now, just recently i re-installed Windows7, a clean format... but then i suddenly noticed that i cant connect to the internet, no network adapters are detected on the Network Connections, its empty i looked at the Device Manager and saw a yellow warning on realtek rtl8139/810x family fast ethernet nic, i download the driver using my laptop (wireless connection)... and installed that driver on my desktop pc then checked the device manager once again, but it still has a yellow warning.i dont know what to do anymore, and at the last screenshot theres this error message: This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use. (Code 12) If you want to use this device, you will need to disable one of the other devices on this system.i have two lan cards, one at the motherboard(not in use) and the other PCI-E lan card (tp-link ) ...im just wondering if that Realtek i just installed is the lan driver for the motherboard?
I am looking for some information concerning network adapters. Many server vendors (HP, Dell, IBM and so on) use multiport single network adapter (one card, several ports -let's assume 4 ports). What resources are shared in multiport solution? For example:
- does multiport nic has significant limitations? For example, it's cpu cannot handle full 4-port load? - interrupt sharing? - buffer size?
I want to use 2 network adapters in the same computor. 1 will route thru our domain/network/firewall/internet. The other will bypass everything and go straight out the same internet but through a different router. I need to get to a website that for some reason our firewall blocks a few functions on that site. When I bypass the firewall everything is good.
In Cisco ASDM 7.1(1), webvpn configuration, it is possible to configure bookmarks with "vdi://" links to Citrix's or Vmware's Virtual Desktop Infrastructures, but we couldn't find any configuration resource (conf guide) on official Cisco site: if it is actually possible to integrate Vmware View Client into ASA 9.1 WebVpn solution?
I am using Thomson moden. Recently when ever I start Skype the moden stop working and is held up, requiring to reset. On trouble shooting : 'Cannot find network adaptors' appears. After resetting work well with all other programmes. Took my coputer to another place and another moden- skype works well.
It did work ok but not now.Even after I put the setup disc into it, it does not show that it has recognised the router. I can only get it to work by using an ethernet cable. I tried to install my router onto it and it came up with a message saying it had "two network adapters, please click on one of them" or words to that effect. It didn't show anything to click onAlso she has recently bought a new desktop computer (Windows 7) and when I was looking into the routers settings it is still showing her name of the old PC she has scapped in the Network. Therefore on the BASIC NETWORK INFORMATION screen it says Network 2. I know this is probably not important but if she ever buys a new PC in the future it will show Network 3So what can I do to get rid of the old computer name on the router settings?
I just upgraded his personal computer. It has an internal wireless card and we have a USB wireless adapter installed. What is the proper way to configure one adapter to connect to the network (via the existing linksys router) and the other adapter to connect to the ATT Hotspot? The goal being able to access the internet from the PC while still being connected to the network. Not interested in sharing the internet connection across the network or anything. It works sometimes, but establishing and maintaining a working connection to both simultaneously is not consistent. From the internet research I've done, it seems like there can be issue with the IP addresses, but I can't find a tutorial for my exact situation.
I currently have a set ( 2 ) of these plug in the wall network adapters so I can use my gaming pc in the other side of my house. I am looking to hook up my gaming pc to my printer which is upstairs by using this same method but obviously only need one ( to plug the printer into ) so I was wondering if I bought one of these network adapters, which I can get for5 all in including delivery, would I be able to sync it to work with my existing adapters
I am running a virtual machine with 6 GB of ram with OS Windows 7 64 bit.I turned on remote desktop connection made sure firewall is off and even enabled ISS.But I cant connect to it from my main PC or any other PC.Is it because I have the same IP on the VM? Because I want to sell these VM's as dedicated servers but it wont work.

I am trying to install ACS 5.0 on workstation, however once the install finsihes it reboots and I enter the Linux bash command line rather than the Cisco CLI.

I am reading up on the ACS VMware appliance installation instructions and am a bit confused on the disk space requirements. It says 60Gb is required and then goes on to talk about 500GB for the secondary instance. Do I need more than 60gb? Is the secondary instance a separate machine or part of the same one?URL
I am having problems with any type of Network Card or Network USB adapter working with my PC running Windows 7. I had a LinkSys WMP54G PCI card working on this computer about a year ago as I was needing to use a wireless connection but then I didn't use it for 6 months. When I went to use it again, it wouldn't pick up connections at all.Thinking it was an issue with the card, I picked up a Edimax 7612UAn USB adapter thinking it should work out of the box. When I plug the USB adapter in, the standard Windows driver installation tries to run but an error message occurs stating "Device driver software was not successfully installed" accompanied by "Realtek RTL8191SU Wireless LAN 802.11n USB Failed". If I try to install the drivers manually, nothing changes and in Device Manager the following error message is displayed under Device Status "This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)".

I just installed a fresh copy of XP on an old Dell E310 my wife and kids use. Just an FYI, I used D-link prior to the re-install with no issues for a few years. Anyway, after XP was up, I put the D-link drivers on. The internet came up and worked like normal for 5-10 minutes, then 'poof', gone. Each time I attempted to connect after that I got a warning message stating I do not have network adapters? I was under the impression that is what D-link was?
My Dell Laptop is connected to Wildbue via LAN connection to Broadband. January or February I connected Belkin Router to obtain Wi-Fi access for other laptops, Cell and PS3, Everything seemed to be working fine. I tried to disconnect the Dell in order to use it via Wi-Fi. This caused problems when my sons laptop lost connection. My guess was that it was actually routed through the Dell via network. Anyway, as I was working to network all correctly. My sons friend decided that he couldn't wait for internet and forced another laptop to login to internet. In the process, it appeared that he changed by router password so that I could not access it. Being a beginner when it comes to network connections, etc., I spent alot of time trying to correct the Belkin Router. I finally disconnected the router and attempted to remove all detail on my Dell. I am sure that my adapter information is not completely accurate. Or so it appears. Note that I do have LAN internet connection and I can search for wireless access. If necessary, I will reinstall the Belkin Router since it is my understanding that it is needed for Wi-Fi access to my internet provider connected via Broadband modem.
I am sure that there will be corrections. I am sure that there is more that will need to be done in order to provide access to other laptops and cells. At this time, I am getting internet on my main laptop that is connected via LAN connection. However, I am having problems understanding adapters for wireless connects.

i jus restarted my computer and i cant connect to the internet... it says im connected on the bottom corner and even my network connections says connected to wifi. I am using a netgear flash drive plug in. but wen i go to my task manager under the networking tab it says that there are no active network adapters found... what do i do?
I have a weird issue with my daughter's laptop. It will connect to the wired network, and give internet access, but it won't allow any connections via a wireless network adaptor. The laptop is on Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit.In device manager it says the wireless adaptor is working properly. The drivers are the latest. Down in the notification area it says "not connected - no connections are available". She has a wifi switch (Fn+F3) on the laptop, but switching it makes no difference. I have an old desktop pc that connects via a USB wifi dongle, so I plugged the dongle into the laptop. It installed without problems, but in the notification area it says the same thing, "not connected - no connections available" So now I'm thinking, "what sits between the network adaptors and Windows? How come it will connect on wired, but not wireless?"
This all started when I updated her Atheros wifi driver. From that moment on it wouldn't connect using wifi. I thought I had somehow physically broken the wifi adaptor hardware, so I bought a new one (a Killer n1202), but installing it made no difference. It's as though I have somehow altered the way that Windows communicates with any wireless adaptor. When I go to the command line and type "ipconfig /all", there is no entry for "wireless LAN adaptor wireless network connection", as there is on my other laptop.
