WEP Security Setup - Can't Connect To Home Wireless Network

I have a work supplied laptop. Used to be able to connect to my home wireless network - this stopped working last week. It can connect to other wireless networks, both at the office and other public places, but can't connect to my home network.
I've tried: Manually creating the wireless network Removing the profile from regedit Removing the profile from ProgramDataMicrosoftWlansvcsProfiles
It sees the network and attempts to connect, but never successfully connect. I have other laptops at home that are working just fine. The network is setup with WEP security, and I've entered/reentered the password several times.
Note, when I started this, the home network did not appear under the Manage Wireless Networks list in the Network and Sharing Center.

I have a Time Warner Cable business class service with no static IP, with a wireless modem which is plugged to a CAT5 distribution panel. On the jacks (2 other rooms on the house) I have a Linksys E3000 and a Linksys Valet router for signal boost and gadgets usage (TV, cameras, etc).The main router (TWC) has it's own external IP which TWC assigns to me and internally distributes via DHCP the range 192.168.0.x. With that said:
- The E3000 has a 192.168.0.6 IP -- this is fixed setup on the TWC router (ubee brand) by MAC address
- The Valet has a 192.168.0.7 IP -- this is fixed setup on the TWC router (ubee brand) by MAC address
- The main router has the 192.168.0.1 as the gateway and web-interface
Whenever I connect something to the E3000, it is distributing the 192.168.1.x range and the valet 192.168.2.x range.That works perfectly for my home based business until I decided to use more stuff on the network such as a IP printer, IP cameras, etc.
- The IP cameras are connected to the E3000 due to signal strength and I have manually assigned them the 192.168.1.15 and 192.168.1.16 IPs and ports 9001 and 9002.
- The printer is connected to the E3000 and I have manually assigned the IP 192.168.1.30.
Issue 1: Port forwarding On the main router (TWC - UBEE) I have tried to setup a port forwarding by informing the Local IP as 192.168.0.6 (E3000 IP), Internal Port 0, Public Interface IP (0.0.0.0), Ext Start Port 9001, Ext End Port 9001, Protocol - Both, Enabled Yes. On the E3000 I did the same config (screen shot attached e3000.png).This is not working properly. I can't get into the camera.
Issue 2: Printer/ The printer is only accessible if I connect to the E3000 (because it is on the 192.168.1.x network)
Issue 3: How to configure all the devices on the same subnet? If I want everyone to be on the 192.168.0.x network, how to configure properly the E3000 and the Valet? I have tried to force them into the same network but it would not work properly. It would not get an IP from the UBEE router (main).

Having an issue with a Cisco Linksys E1500 on a home network. The device has a feature to provide a guest wireless network but the guest network can't get to the internet. A wired connection is fine, as is the normal wireless network but not the guest. The cheesy thing is, that it doesn't list an option for what type of wireless security protocol you want on the guest network. I'm assuming that it uses the same security protocol that the normal wireless network uses, but who knowsEspecially weird is that it asks you what password you want on the guest network but then the guest network show to be insecure when you try to connectthought maybe it was something funky with some of my configurations so I went ahead and factory defaulted it and just set it up with an insecure network for both the normal and guest networks. This didn't solve it. The guest network still couldn't get to the internet. In fact, the guest network can't even ping the router.

I am trying to set up a wireless network within my home, i have a external hard drive and was wondering can i connect this to my internet router to make it accessible in order to stream music and movies from the hard drive. there is no ethernet port on the hard drive but seen a usb to ethernet adapter is this all that would be needed?

So I have a Netgear N600 WNDR3700 wireless router setup at home, and it works great for wireless, but when I plug in my desktop with CAT6 Ethernet cable to the router (didn't bother putting a wifi card in my desktop) for some reason it won't connect to the internet. I know the cable works because I've used it in the past, but for some reason I can't get it to work with my Netgear router.

Firstly I cannot get my Linksys RE1000 to work with my network having tried the set up CD on 2 computers (mac and windows). The main router is a BT Home Hub 2.0
The main router is in the basement where out internet connection enters the house, also in the basement is our LAN board where we have ethernet cables extending to parts of the house. There is weak wireless signal from groundfloor up to the top floor so wanted to find something where I could plug into the ethernet port and it would broadcast an wireless network to the upper floors/areas with a weaker signal. Thought the RE1000 would do this job but i can't get it to do it wirelessly let alone connect it to the main router using a ethernet cable.

Was told by a HP technician that I could setup a .wireless home network for the purpose of having my iPad and iPhone 4 connect to my D100 HP printer. Installed the disc that came with my router and can't get passed the point that requires a password. All my devices recognize the router but everything requires a password which I am able to provide. Can this router be setup without having Internet access if so then how?

I'm trying to set up an Iomega Home Media Network Cloud NAS and I'm having problems with opening ports 50500-50599. I have opened port 80 and 443 successfully and included the above port range above as well, but when I check it on www.yougetsignal.com the ports 50500-50599 are still closed. I even tried to split the range in two parts, and still no success. I have been in contact with my ISP and confirmed they do not block any ports in the 50500-50599 range and that the cable modem (a Motorola SBV5120) is operating in Bridge Mode.

I want to setup a DC++ HUB for sharing data within the university local network. We have addresses of the form 172.31.*.*. These addressed are accessible within the university bu non routable outside on the internet. My plan is to setup a local HUB for DC++ for sharing data within the university intranet. So even if internet is unavailable data can be exchanged through LAN. This HUB must not be accessable outsied the university network.how should I do this all..implementing network sharing other than DC++. My basic idea is that everybody can share their data and the data is searchable from one common interface( Web interface is better option, if possible). And data featching should prefferably be from many hosts, using multiple connections so that speed can be improved..

I have a router supplied by my ISP, Verizon[a g-router] using with 2 desktop and 2 laptop computers. All but 1 laptop are still running XP.So far I have not tried to print over the network. The printer is connected to the desktop that is also wired to the router.how to setup printing across this wireless network. Must I setup another internal home network in order to do wireless printing?

I have purchased a D-Link N300 dir-615 router . can i just hook it to the eathernet lines I have on the second floor to extend range of the wireless network? I'm trying to set up my home network with two routers. One as the LAN router and the other as the access point. I have a really nice router and an older router, I'll just leave it at that. One router will be connected to the modem, the other in my game room for the wireless access point. I want to use the nicer, newer router as the LAN router or the wireless access point?

I have an exhibition next saturday on network monitoring and I was given ftp server monitoring project. I'm only allowed to used linux based OS for this project. Right now I have 3 notebook. 1 as a client, 1 as a router and another 1 is for monitoring. I am extremely new to network but also excited with the things you can achieve with a Cisco switch.For about 3 months I sat down looking at my "Cisco C2950-24 Switch", this surely for such a beastly looking thing it must be able to do something other than just allow you to plug in cables. So with that said I started to do some reading and watched a couple of You Tube Videos.I am on the route to complete my first goal and thats have my own VLAN setup with 1 Server and 6 clients. I have connected my Vista laptop to my old XP laptop using a network cable so that I can share files, printers, etc freely.I have forgotten the correct proceedure for doing this, although the two computers eventually, after a long time link up and I am able to share files. I have done nothing else. I have not entered numbers or anything. The number spaces are blank.I do not understand why it is working at all, but how do I speed up the connection?

I am just wondering how to set up a home network with an old computer used as a server... we will have a wii, ps3, lap top, and 2 desktops connected to the network as well as two dell printers. The laptop runs windows XP and the desktops run windows vista. The old computer will will use as a server is windows xp or windows 98 (most likely wont use that computer). Cannot setup NAT on edimax router I ve got this setup: [URL] It works well - I can connect from TESTPC and LAPTOP (bottom left corner) to SERVERS A/B/C (bottom right corner) without any problem. Everything seems to be routed perfectly, however from SERVERS A/B/C I cannot ping TESTPC and LAPTOP, and I can't even establish an RDP connection.I was told to setup static routes or NAT, but I am at a loss on how to do it.
