WRT54GS / Browser Can Only Open Google And MSN?

I have setup vlan on my router using DD-WRT. Everything works fine except vlan2 computer can only visit google.com and msn.com (they got unable to display the page when visit amazon or ebay). When I tried to ping yahoo in for vlan2. I got response but the ping is a bit high (500~600), but it shouldn't have problem opening webpage eventually.
Main Router: Linksys WRT54GS V7.2 (with DD-WRT)
port 1 is configured for vlan2
vlan1 computers
DHCP enable
ip: 192.168.1.10~192.168.1.20
Default gateway:192.168.1.1
subnet:255.255.255.0

Since downloading constant guard and Norton on my computer, I can connect to a wireless router but cannot open a web browser. My network diagnostics says could not make HTTP/HTTPS/FTP connection.I have tried many different things. IP configuration is correct. It will ping out to the internet and receive back without a problem.

So my browser won't open after I click the icon.Mozilla won't and IE neither. Everything is fine with my connection so that's not the problem. When I go to my brothers account and open Mozilla everything's perfectly normal but at my account it's starts loading but nothing shows up. The problem occured yesterday evening after I updated my youtube downloader. Nothing happened before with my old version of the youtube downloader. I have windows 7 and have a broadband connection.

I have a wireless network (cable modem and router) set up in my home, which all of my devices are able to connect to the internet just fine, all but two; one is a netbook and the other is a desktop. The netbook has a wireless card built in, and the desktop has usb wireless card. Both of devices are running xp (both are the only compters in my home ran on xp), and these are the only two devices that will not connect to the internet wirelessly, except for when the wireless is unsecure these two devices connect fine, but once I enable a password these two devices say connected with an excellent signal strength, but once I open up the brower no web page comes up (just a message saying server not found). These two computers are able to install automatic program updates from over the internet, but still no web page will come up.

I have a Studio XPS 8100 desktop. Lately, I'd say for about the past 3 months, after I start up my computer, I open my mail (windows live) and I open an internet browser, either "IE" or "Firefox"... Mail opens and receives no problem... my internet connection is fine... (have trouble shot all of that), but the internet will not open... It looks like it is going to start, then nothing... no message, not a thing. So I reboot and it opens... very odd no rhyme of reason for it, simply works fine one day and not another... I can't find any info. on the internet about this problem and no one I know has ever heard of it... Yes, I've run all the scans and checks with no viruses/spam, etc. detected... I'm using AVG free and Malawarebytes... was using Windows Security Essentials when is started... I have also scanned the computer in safe mode and no problems detected.

I have a v1 WRT54GS And I am currently fustrated. After anouther laptop coming into this house my Xbox Live Functions have locked up from the NAT turning to Moderate. Now I have tried many things to change it but nothing seems to work. I am using the Microsft Wireless Adapter for the 360.

The Lg840g is a tracfone with wifi capability. I get strong wifi signal and connection at home, but receive failure to connect to requested host message when I open the browser. This phone works at wayport wifi, so I assume it's a compatibility problem with the router. Is there a fix? (Router works great with our Acer and Kindle tablets though.)

I upgraded the firmware on my wrt54gs this morning and after the upgrade i have a light on the front where it says ( Cisco Systems ) is this anything to worry about?the upgrade was from Ver.3 to Ver.4.Ubuntu 11.04 on a Fujitsu lifebook t4210 tablet pc.in a world of open source who needs windows and gates

I can get on any website except google.com if its anything else such as images.google.com or gmail it works fine but I cannot get on the main google page. Can't ping it either.

Unsure if this is the correct forum but here goes.....I just installed the Google Chrome and after doing so it has been a hair pulling problem so to say. Now when I do a search with google almost every time it looks like the information site listed I click on it and am redirected to another search and if I try to go back to google search it will not let me off the page. I end up having to close that window and open a new window and research again on google. I open my old internet explorer and the same thing happens there now.

Every link I would try to go to in google redirected me to some advertisement websites and such... I got malwarebytes and scanned computer (friend suggested using it) after scan google and bing search engines have not been loading on my computer using Firefox or Chrome...

I am using Chrome as my primary broswer, but recently I can't get access to a particular website, but while I use other browsers to access that site, it is perfectly fast and without any problems at all. I don't know if i have accidentally pressed any key or accepted any setting that has made google chrome to block access to that site.

I cannot access google sites or services in any browser, tried Chrome, IE and firefox.I'm running Windows XP SP3. I can ping Google without issue. My hosts file is clean and I checked in the registry to make sure that the hosts file is where it is supposed to be. I had trouble finding one that worked but I configured Chrome to use an external proxy and it seemed to work, abeit too slowly to really tell. I did manage to get a Nigerian google page up though.I've flushed the DNS and switched to the free google DNS.Looking around I've seen similar issues with people using Linksys routers. I am not using a Linksys router. I am currently using my android phone as a hotspot.I am running a Windows 7 laptop on the same network with no issues and booting the same host into Vista also works fine.

I have noticed that when logging in to youtube I also get automatically logged into google.com, which is very annoying. I don't want to have google signing me in and monitoring my search habits. how can I block google from signing me in as I sign in on youtube?

My computer won't connect to any of Google's servers. ANY of them. Gmail, docs, reader, nothin. I can visit youtube, but I cannot get to the log-in page. EVERY other site works pretty well. Heck, even using a site that uses a Recaptcha it doesn't load the recaptcha!Nothing wrong with my hosts file.
Tracert results in 6 successful hops and then times out (I think at my ISP?)
the last 2 successful hops are
chnddsrj01-ae2.0.rd.ph.cox.net
And then
langbprj02-ae2.rd.la.cox.net
Then all time outs
My other PC is connected to the SAME wifi network right now, and I'm posting from it, and it works fine. Both are on XP. Reboots haven't worked. Happens on all browsers. Every other website I can find is just fine.

Recently i have to change my modem (lightning struck) which of course, done by my ISP worker.The problem is, since then, I've been getting the "DNS lookup failed" error message constantly while using Google Chrome. Or sometimes the "This web page is not available - The connection to [URL] was interrupted".I have to refresh the search once or twice to get to the site, which is very annoying. I tried surfing on my friend's laptop, using the same wireless connection and it seemed to work fine. This problem only occurred on MY laptop.One more thing is, the connection doesn't seem to go wrong because i could play online game with no trouble like lagging or disconnection whatsoever. (Starcraft)

Computer is Win 7, SP1 fully updated.I can browse to most other web site, but cannot go to Google or YouTube - Broadcast Yourself.
Tried a bunch of stuff like flushdns, winsock fix, clearing cache. Nothing works.Cannot ping to Google either.Gives in ip address but times out.Even when typing in the google ip that returns from the ping cmd it will not go to the web site.

Dir 615, hardware version E4, Firmware version 5.1.Intermittent (95% of the time), problem accessing Google using my Android via wireless. A PC using XP on the same network has no problems. Using the Android on my local library's network I have no problems.Have restored to factory default settings and reconfigured with no improvement.
Modem setup: Setup to connect to another router, UPnP disabled, DHCP server disabled, 802.11 mode -mixed 802.11n & 802.11g (Android connects using 802.11n PC uses 802.11g have forced Android to use 802.11g to no avail), Auto channel scan, (have tried fixed), Channel width 20/40, visible mode.Internet connection Dynamic IP of course it is going out through my other Dlink ADSL 2 modem router. Also disabled QOS engine.

Is is possible to run Transmission or Google Chrome only using OpenVPN? Other applications should use default connection (eth0) since I am connected to Intranet which won't be accessible if all traffic is routed through VPN. I am using Ubuntu 12.10 and some Premium VPN server (similar to HMS VPN)
