When I try to connect to my router through my phone the SSID appears as belkin.2lc and it won't connect but says authorizing then disconnected. The weird thing is that my laptop and all my roommates laptops and my Xbox can all see the routers real SSID and connect.just fine. I've tried restarting the router and my phone. I've also checked my router settings and made sure their is no MAC address enabled.
View 16 Replies View RelatedI just got a Samsung Galaxy S4. As I have always done with all of my devices that connect wirelessly, I went into the D-Link software and added my phone's MAC address to the network filter list. The security settings are WPA/WPA2. When I try to connect, the phone is able to see my Wi-Fi network, and it asks for my password, which I enter. It keeps trying to connect, but then it says an "authentication error occurred." I have checked and triple-checked the password, and it is correct. I have also checked and triple-checked the MAC address, and it is correct. I have rebooted the router and the phone several times each.

View 11 Replies View RelatedMy xp computers recently gave up. So, I bought a new one (windows 7).
When I had my new computer plugged directly into my modem, there was no problem; I could easily connect to the internet.Yet, when I plugged the modem into my router (WRT54GS) and then plugged the router into the computer, I repeatedly encountered: Error 651.
The new computer has a built-in wireless adapter. So, I was able to disconnect the router and try to re-connect via a wireless connection. Yet, dispite being able to connect to my "network", the computer was not able to connect to the internet; again, I received the dreaded Error 651 message.I tried using the installation disk, but it would not work, either.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've seen loads of people connecting 2 routers, but they're usually connecting the routers together (as in connecting 1 router to another, which is connected to both the internet and the PC) to boost the performance of the current router, or connect more devices. What seems to be hard to find is what I want to do.
The situation is, I have a Sky Broadband Router (a specialised Sagem router from Sky Broadband ISP) in the back room of my house, and it's wireless range can't reach the front room of my house (where I want to use my wireless laptop). Moving the router is not an option, so I purchased a Belkin 300N Router and plugged it into another phone socket at the front of the house (the phone line was originally just at the front of the house, but was extended to another socket at the back of the house, the one the Sky Router is connected to).
The router is working, but seems to be clashing with the Sky Router, it can't connect unless I turn the Sky Router off, and the Sky router always overrides the Belkin one. I've seen some posts about syncing routers when they're connected, but these aren't, they're just on the same phone line, how to stop them clashing?
I got told if I changed the IP address of the Belkin Router to one similar to the Sky one, and disabled DCHP it would work, but this just messed the Belkin Router up and I had to give it a factory reset!
I have bought Cisco WAG120N modem+router weeks ago, and until now I have trouble with connecting it to my android phone with wi-fi,
every time I try to do it keep trying to connect and after that I get a massage connection lost in my PC, then I have to restart modem-router agin to get the internet connection,
previously I had my ISP provided unbranded one and it worked fine, since Cisco have good name I bought this and now I was totally disappointed,
even the Internet connection stop without any reason and I have to do restart process.
Is it possible to integrate a wireless voip cisco 7921g (sccp protocol) with an small business modem router Srp527w (sip protocol), even if if is by connecting another device (like an access point) between both? I know skiny is cisco property and sip is an open source protocol, so I do not understand why cisco does not implement the skinny protocol in his Srp527w.
