I have Nexus 7K installations in 2 locations. Both of them have multiple VDCs. In default VDC there are continous tacacs error message though tacacs is not configured. The requests are from various public IPs where thsi VDC is not exposed to Internet at all. What would be t he cause of it?

I just built my first comp and everything is up and running..no problems for about a week. but now my internet is slow... like 10 ks slow.i am on satalite internet with my comp on a lan cable to the router. my wife's laptop is wireless.. both seem to run fine with explorer etc, but when i try to download updates for games or comp, all but stalls out.

For about two years everything has been fine...no problems ever.About a month ago, I started getting timeouts and page not found errors when surfing the web, but my online games (EVE, WoW, etc) and our Xbox360/PS3 work fine. The only thing I could think was to unplug and plug back the DIR-655. Sometimes that works for a day or a week, but ultimately it always comes back. Is there a setting on the router I can change to avoid this, or a software command I can issue from the computer to clear something?

I have tried the commands "ping" to my IP address and it works but ping to the default gateway IP address doesnt work either.I am using the same wireless connection right now with my smartphone. I have downloaded an app that executes the ipconfig command in my Android. I have used the same gateway IP address in my laptop but it didnt work either. I have tried to set automatically the IP addresses in my laptop without success too. I have turned off and on both laptop and router and also checked in the system window that all the processes such as DHCP and DNS servers are automatic and enabled.

View 5 Replies View RelatedThe route is connected to that. Wirelessly, there are two laptops and sometimes an iPad and sometimes a Wii. Verizon DSL. I barely use my laptop during the week, but did notice some connection issues maybe Thursday and Friday nights. All day yesterday and today, as well. I will have a connection for maybe 5 minutes and then get errors loading webpages (and/or videos stopped). I will repair the connection and it will say everything is fine but it will not work, repair again or disconnect/reconnect(sometimes, several times) and then it works for 5 minutes or 20 minutes before the same thing happens. The other laptop is having the same problems. What I have tried so far: restarting the PC, both laptops, the router, and the modem. Resetting the modem. I have not moved any furniture or anything that would cause interference. I am worried because I have been trying to make more money and started at this site called Treasure Trooper which seemed okay-surveys and the like. There were a few pay-to-download things I downloaded but did not run. Avira found a trojan and I deleted it (not sure if the two are related, but I can not think of anything else I have downloaded or installed in the past month or so).The old PC is off; the Wii is on but probably only maintains a small connection. The iPad and other laptop are not mine, but if either is on, they probably have little to no activity right now since the user is away.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI am Using Windows 7 32-Bit, and my Network usually works fine, and my internet has been working fine up until recently. However about a month (maybe more) I noticed a problem that kept cutting me off occasionally and said Diagnostic Policy was not started, I troubleshooted it and it was fine. Much more recently this has been happening more frequently and troubleshooting it doesn't solve the problem. I can get online for 10-15 Mins then I am cut off again. Restarting the computer often fixes it but not always. I went to Services and found the Diagnostic Policy Service is not running, I press start and receive this error message.
The Diagnostic Policy Service service on local computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they are not in use by services or programs.I am quite sure my loss of Internet is due to this as this is a network related service and what the troubleshooter always finds to be the problem. Other Computer/Devices in the house connect to the internet fine with no loss of connection so it has nothing to do with that. I have tried various fixes like uninstalling network adapter drivers, and checking permissions in Registry but it has not worked.

I need to know why I am losing internet connectivity like around nighttime, late. I keep losing internet on both IPv4 and IPv6! It both said "No Internet Access" Then later IPv6 said "No Network Access" That's the problem i am having on my personal laptop computer. I really am furious that I lost internet connection around 12:15, 12:30, 12:50, 1:30, 2:15, 2:30, and 3:30 A.M. i suddenly lost internet right there. View 1 Replies View RelatedMy WAP4410N is configured with 4 seperate SSIDs. Two of the SSID status are showing "Enabled". The other 2 are shown as "Connected". The one that are showing as Enabled are not receiving any packets. Devices connected to the SSID that shows "Enabled" are unable to connect to the network. Any one else encountered similar issues before? This issue just surfaced few hours ago. The device has been using for around 2-3 years with minimal issues.

The modem/wireles router is the Ubee DDW3611.I was doing some work earlier this morning, and the lawn mower guy was here in the back doing his thing. All of a sudden the internet goes out. I see that damn dreaded yellow exclamation mark in the taskbar superimposed over the wireless internet icon. My first thought was that the lawn dude ran over some wires.I went outside to see if any wires were exposed or had been damaged. I noticed about a yard of wire was exposed above ground, but did not appear to have any damage.Anyway, I've been trying for the past few hours to fix this darn thing (before the technician gets here around 4pm). I've tried all the simple stuff like reset the modem, restart, mess with dns settings, but I have no idea where to go after this.

I'm having a networking issue that I cannot resolve.My DirecTV HD DVR receiver (HR21-700) shows a working connection to both my network and internet. However, the STB services port (range of 27161-27192) will not connect through my router (linksys E4200) automatically or manually (Dtv error code 301). By connecting the receiver directly to my modem, the STB services port will connect as it should. I also have a XB360 (LAN), BluRay Player (LAN), two PCs, & Wireless Bridge connected with absolutely no issues. Each are manually configured with a static IP and the proper ports forwarded.I am STUMPED and FRUSTRATED to say the least.Other than the manual setup of these devices, my networking knowledge is not very broad.Are there any settings or configurations that I may be overlooking?The uPnP is enabled, NAT is enabled, and all firewalls are turned off.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI am having Inspiron N4010 for almost an year now. I have had many troubles with this but never with internet connectivity. Last week I saw myself not being able to be connected to internet through wireless or wired network while everybody else was connected and surfing. I just thought it to be a small problem and the problem seemed resolved that very day itself on its own.
But today this computer has simply failed to get connected. it does get connected, open a page or two and then again refuses to connect. On the problem diagnoses from network sharing center, it was showing that the websites are not responding, then it started showing that DNS server was not responding while all my setting are correctly configured. I pinged gateway and it responds but on pinging some website there is no response at all. It s a problem with my laptop only as everybody else are using internet very well. I am using internet through my WiFi enabled cell phone using the same connection and router that i use for my laptop. I need an urgent solutions as I have to meet some deadlines regarding assignments.
