is this network able to handle wifi 200 clients?Load balancing QNO FQR7110[URL]Access point: TP-LINK 300Mbps Wireless N Range Extender (TL-WA830RE)[URL].My client is all students... and all of them will connect to the internet by using Wireless connection.So i estimate 12APs for them.. each access point will have around 17 clients...and the 6 APs will be connect to 1 HP 1910 Switch Series 8 ports switch...*Note: the switch is Smart managed switch, but im not going to setup it.. i will just plug and play..May i know it is suitable to use that model of device to setup the network with 200 clients?The load balancer and switch it is enough Processor and RAM?

I have 4 desktops cat5 to Dlink DIR 615 router. All work fine. Any wireless clients, laptop or netbooks, see the desktop computers for a while then disconnect somehow. All machines can see the Internet through the router at all times. The desktops disappear from the laptop/netbooks but the wireless machines can be seen from the desktop computers but clicking on them gets 'Access Denied' message after a wait.3 desktops = XP, 1 98SE. What i am trying to do is that i have a server in my store which has a running software for the store. I have a TP Link Wifi card installed in my pc.. i need to access the server using an ip through the ethernet cable. And i access the internet via the wifi device installed and running in my pc. the problem now here is that i cannot access both of the simultaneously. If i connect back the ethernet cable the browser does not browse or the internet does not work.. and i can access my server software.. as i unplug the ethernet cable my wifi card installed starts working all good and i can use the internet.. i have tried a little of soultions but have not been successfull enough to use both the connections simultaneously..

I use a Netgear FS605 Ethernet Switch to connect a wifi modem to my network and thus to the internet. People in that room can jump online via the wifi modem. You can also print to the wireless printer in that room via that wifi modem being local. However, I can no longer print to the wifi printer from anywhere else in my network (I could before I got a new router and wifi modem in there).Would this be a problem with this Switch or with the modem e.g.

We have a problem with NLB on a SG500-28P which is a major issue for us.
I am investigating a problem together with Microsoft Support about a download/upload performance issue with a Microsoft Forefront TMG array which is connected to a single SG300-28P. Àpparently this issue exist on every NLB array we implement. I am now at the point we asume the SG500-28P does not handle NLB in unicast mode very well.
We have a network topology as shown below:Please note the actual public IP Addresses are hidden and the internal IP Addresses are diffrent, for security reasons.
Our SG500-28P is configure in L3 mode. It hosts three subnets you see above. The two TMG servers are configured with NLB (in unicast mode) on the Internal Network and External Network interface. It is connected to the internet and our internal network. These TMG Servers are in fact Edge Servers. Our other servers and client are in a different VLAN. The default gateway flows through this NLB Cluster [10.250.0.254].
Problem: When a client uses its default to connect to the internet the performance is very and very slow. With an internet connection of 10/10 we get 10/2. With an internet connection 100/100 we only get 7/1!.
Now we have tried everyting we can imagine. I can't write down all, because that would be a lot. One thing is worth notice; When we move the client to the same VLAN as the NLB Cluster and the client uses 10.250.0.1 as its default gateway, the problem still exists. But... when the client uses 10.250.0.254 as its default gateway the performance is outstanding 95/95! Apparently if traffic for the NLB Cluster is routed through the SG300-28P the performance drops like a rock.
I have never seen this before with SG300 series switches, although this environment is different. Normally I would configure NLB in multicast mode. But the switch does not allow to add static ARP entries for multicast MAC Addresses.I know NLB in unicast mode introduces switch flooding and such. But why does the SG500 not handle this right? Is there anything I can do about it?

before I open a TAC case: How does Cisco Prime NCS handle the device licenses for stack of 3750 switches? Just one device license for the stack or a license for every physical switch in the stack? I can't find a answer on the Cisco website, but maybe one of you knows it from a deployment you have done..

This is only a small portion of our network but my question is, can these 1841 routers handle a 45Meg connection? I thought these routers were designed for T1/E1 type speeds. I know I saw a router performance document somewhere that showed 1841's could handle 38.4MB of traffic and that is only with routing turned on. If anything else is enabled, like access lists, NetFlow or whatever, that number will decrease because of the capacity of the router. Am I correct in these statements? Any document or anything else that shows performance of these routers?

why QuickVPN clients can only reach RV042's LAN Network and not able to access subnet 1 remotely, however PPTP clients can access both..

I want to pass my client VPN request to MS Win Server 2003 - on FW I forwarded port for PPTP service to my server address, but on client side I get an error 619. On Cisco RV120W I have Site-to-Site VPN tunnel which works fine, PPTP server on Cisco is disabled. What should I do to pass VPN request to my LAN server to handle it?

I have a Cisco wag120n adsl modem. I am setup with a SIP provider, so all my incoming and outgoing calls use SIP.So my question is, how does my ADSL modem handle incoming SIP calls,e.g the SIP call comes in and reaches my adsl modem. Then, how does the modem find the actual port that has my ATA adaptor (analog phone) or CME router attached ? I know port forwarding would handle this, but I am not actually using any configured port forwarding rules.

I want to setup an home network with a wireless router and use multiple switches for wired connections through out my home. I currently have an Airport extreme hooked up to a cable modem and a leviton gateway hooked up to the Airport. The 2 computers connected to the Leviton are on a windows 7 homegroup and share fine, but won't share or discover any wireless device connected to Airport. My main goal is to have a wireless/wired network with all computers sharing information with each other. I want 2-3 wired switches/gateways with a min of 2 devices connected to each, connected to my wireless router whiich is connected to cable modem.

I have a ASA5505 and it has a vpn set up. The VPN user connects using the Cisco VPN client. They can connect fine (the get an ip address from the ASA), but they can't ping the asa or any clients on the network. Here is the running config:

So a BT home hub is a very cheap router, so it seems. And - if you connect a quite a lot of eq to this router, it starts crashing. "It can't handle the traffic.". But what does that mean? Why can it handle the traffic for a while and after a few days it can't anymore. And lets say - some of the eq doesn't really work on the external network, it works on the internal network, and it doesn't need the internet to work for proper functionality. So - what is important then? Which specifications are the important ones?

I have :
1- Router that is working as Router (IP: 192.168.0.1 ) ( Ethernet ) routing from :

2- make all of the employees in the office use the wifi on the router ( 192.168.5.254 ).
3- make the router 192.168.5.254 serve Internet.the problem : we cann't connect the first router ( 192.168.0.1 ) to the second router ( 192.168.5.254 ) via Ethernet. The question : can we connect them via wireless ?

I have a bandwidth-intensive video conferencing device connected to a router. I have forwarded all the necessary ports to the device (and I have even tried DMZ) but the device is unable to connect to some servers due to "NAT issues". The device uses lots of ports simultaneously to connect and I am wondering maybe possibly the router can not handle the number of open ports. The ISP only blocks port 25 which the device does not use. Could it be that the ISP limits the number of ports that are in use? Or maybe the ISP limits the amount of bandwidth that can pass through certain ports?

* CPU, iPhone and iPad connected to router, CPU wired connection.Everything has worked like a charm up until a couple of days ago. Now the link between the router WAN port and the modem randomly drops. Stays dropped for 1-3 secs and then connect again. When its really bad this happens with 5-10 secs intervall. This made it impossible to use the network from any of the devices.If I disconnect the CPU from the router and connect it direcly to the modem and change the IP settings to match the modem network the CPU connects without errors to the internet, iPad and iPhone connected to the router keeps having problems.Restarting the router does not change anything and it seems to be more frequent errors during heavy load hours, in the morning I have almost no problems at all, in the evenings I cant almost use the wireless devices (CPU works fine as its now connected directly to the modem not through the router).I havent changed a setting in the last year, it just came right out of the blue.I have hard reset both the modem and the router and reconfigured them (that I dont want to do again as I have some virtual servers, port forwards, port triggers and so on :P).As it came right out of the blue without me changing anything on any device and as it seems to be more frequent during heavy load hours I'm suspecting that the ISP is involved, but how can they be (it works fine with devices connected straight to the modem)?

Router is Airport. Interference to all am radios (in both cars, transister radio, and plugged in clock radios) within 10 m radius of our house. Have had router for two years, but problem started suddenly last Sunday morning. Figured it was the router by turning it off (no interference) then on again (interference returned).
