Using Netgear CG3000D-RG Wireless Router With Compaq Laptop?

We have a BRAND NEW Netgear CG3000D-RG wireless router (modem). We have had this modem for just about two months, and have 3 laptops in the house and a XBox 360. We have screaming signal @ 50 megs. However my wifes Compaq Laptop keeps kicking her off the internet. The homepage will load, and sometimes MAYBE one more screen. But then nothing else will load, and the signal bars at the bottom right of the screen get an exclamation point. No other computers have ANY problems, nor does the XBox (which is the only thing that is actually hardwired).

My wife bought her self an xbox last night so we can game togher. We both tried to get online last night, but came up with a strict nat for one of the machines. Which ever machine got online first got the open nat type. i've tried DMZ host with port forwarding for both machines to no success. We have a netgear modem router from charter cable. the model number I believe is CG3000D. she was on a wireless network and i was wired straight to the modem router.

Wireless suddenly stopped working on my laptop.I have a Compaq 6715B, and yesterday while I was browsing the web, my wireless stopped working, it gave me a notification in the "Safely Remove Hardware" thing near the clock, "The blah blah blah Network adapter can now be safely removed".The wireless hasn't been working ever since.It's not showing up in the device manager or anything.I've swapped the card itself, swapped the whole LED board (the board with the power button, wireless button, etc.

I have an HP Compaq nc6220 that I just got up and running after an extended stint as a paperweight.It had previously worked great in terms of connecting to the internet via wireless.Now nothing.It let's me go into Wireless Network Setup Wizard and offers to let me set up new networks, etc...But as far as I can tell, it isn't detecting any networks (though they are all around me and detected on other computers) and giving me the option to log in.There is no "Device Manager" option that I can find on this computer, which some forum posts have suggested to other people with similar problems.

I'm using netgear cg3000d and i want to change my password. But my default gateway IP doesn't prompt a log in, only an error message.
I've tried restoring the browser to presettings, clearing the cache, and using chrome, and firefox.
I think i should be logging into admin gui for the router

I am using a Compaq laptop, and i have Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter attached to it.I used to be able to connect to a Printer Brother MFC-J430W via wireless and print from it.But recently, when I try to print from it, it says that the printer is offline. I tried restarting my laptop, wireless adapter, and the printer, I also try restarting the spooler service but the attempt was not successful. Try unchecking SNMP and the printer is online but I can't print from it. So, I decided to uninstall the printer and reinstall it again. This is where another problem occurs. When I try reinstalling it, my laptop seems to be unable to find the printer (I have entered the IP address of my Printer but the printer still can't be found). Oh, and by the way, other laptop seems to be able to print a document from that printer.

I have a Compaq presario CQ61 laptop running windows 7 and since my boyfriend installed a new netgear wireless router I haven't been able connect to the home wireless network. I have no problem connecting to public or private wireless networks at my house or elsewhere. Also, my boyfriend and his roommate have no problem connecting to the network on their laptops. It is a WPA encrypted network. I have also tried shutting off the firewall on my computer without any change. My laptop doesn't even recognize the network - i tried to manually add the network to my computer but it still won't come up on my list of active networks.

I have a Compaq presario CQ62 Laptop. The other day, my friend accidentally spilled water on my laptop keys. The computer works perfectly fine except for the keyboard. I tried replacing the keyboard but it did not work. Anyways, For some strange reason my wireless capability was turned off and now I have no way of turning it back on. I have searched many forums but have not found an answer.
Q: Is there any way to turn on the wireless capability i.e. using the function keys to turn on the wireless radio, WITHOUT actually using the function keys? i.e. using a command or something within the computer?

Have netgear wireless internet router from ISP and both pc and laptop have wireless internet access but are not networked together. Don't need to network the two but wish to add wireless printer so can print from each computer. Have ethernet cable connecting wireless printer to router. Will computers now communicate (seperately) with the printer for software installation and subsequent printing use?

I have an HP/Compaq laptop that is quite a few years old but has been working fine. It has stopped connecting to the internet although it will connect to my wireless network. The internet works and all other devices (my tablet, my phone, daughter's laptop, etc) all connect. The laptop started having troubles recently and would eventually connect to the internet if I rebooted a couple of times. However, I've been trying multiple times today and it still won't connect.I have Windows Vista and the repair function has not fixed it or diagnosed the error.

I have a desktop and laptop and im on my desktop which has internet...I have a wireless router that is working and its called:NETGEAR WIRELESS-N 150 ROUTER WNR1000V2. The router network comes up on my laptop when I look for avaliable networks but..I try to connect and type in the exact password for the router but says "windows cannot connect to network" On my laptop im running windows vista home premuim service pack 2. My Dell Laptop is unable to access internet through my Netgear wireless router. Other equipment (Lenovo laptop, ipad, iphone, PS3) accessing internet fine through same router. I ran the onboard Dell Wireless WLAN Card Utility. Hardware diagonistics all pass. Connection diagnostics reports:

I have a compaq Presario CQ 60 windows vista 32 bit. I cannot connect to my centurytel westell 7500. I was able to connect to the westell versalink 327W but when I upgraded to the 7500 I havnt been able to connect wirelessly. I can with the Ethernet but not wirelessly. My wifi network adapter is a atheros AR5007 802.11b/g.

My sister's Compaq Presario CQ62 Laptop, and from what she told me, she can't access the internet. When she can access, it's only with Internet Explorer.
She couldn't register Microsoft Office, use Avast, use Firefox, use Chrome, install updates, and access the iTunes store to name a few examples.
She was able to run MalwareBytes, but no infections were found.
I don't think it's the router, because my sister is also my roommate and I can access the internet just fine, as well as gaming consoles and iPods. But I don't know, maybe it is the router and I'm just not realizing it.
I'm trying to figure out the problem, but it's just not coming to me. I guess she's had this problem since October 2010. I thought it might be an IP address issue, so I reserved an IP address to her, but it appears that nothing changed.

I have a Compaq CQ60. It formerly belonged to a friend (who had no problems with it) and I restored factory settings. However it isn't connecting to my router! Well, it does connect - but it calls it "unidentified" and despite my many attempts it just won't allow me access to the internet. The two other laptops in the house are connected to it fine though. I tried connecting to my neighbour's wireless router, and it worked no problem, including the internet! I bought an ethernet cable earlier, which successfully connected my laptop to the internet. (Although it said I was connected to a homenetwork as well as my Talk Talk router, which it proceeds to call "unidentified" and is restricted to local access). However, I really need it to work wirelessly. I have not been able to use the laptop yet as the ethernet cable does not allow me to leave the router!

I've just bought a new Samsung 3 series laptop (Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit). I have two braodband lines at my home (1: Sky with standard Sky wireless router. 2: BT with Netgear wireless router). The Netgear router is primarily used for business but I also use it to connect with my old Dell laptop and my iPad. However I cant seem to connect with my new Samsung laptop to the Netgear router. I want to get rid of the Sky broadband line but neet to get the Netgear line working correctly first.If i turn the Netgear router off and then on again the laptop can see the router and picks up the wireless signal and connects for a few minutes before it drops off and then it can find it again. The laptop does similar with the Sky router except that the connection seems to last longer before it drops off and at least it can always see the Sky wireless signal for me to reconnect again.

I am working on a Compaq cq50 which I have re-formatted running Vista Home Premium.It connects fine with my LAN, and also connects wireless when I push the wireless switch...however it won't connect wireless automatically when I boot..I always have to push the button.I don't think that is normal.I went to services and stopped the auto wlan and then deleted the existing profile and then re-established the wlan services and account..

I bought my dad a Netgear N150 DGN1000 Wireless ADSL Router to replace his D-link router which kept dropping the wireless signal. My Compaq Presario V2000 (HP) using Win-xp3 will only connect to the internet using safe mode. When trying to connect in normal mode a message appears saying I cannot display webpage and what I can try is diagnose connection problems. When I click on diagnose problems it tells me that Windows cannot troubleshoot network connection because an error has occured.
