Belkin Routers :: F9k1113 V1 / AC1200 Reboots On Rdp Traffic?
Dec 24, 2012I have a f9k1113 V1 or AC 1200 wireless router. I opened RDP - remote desktop to my home pc. Everytime i try to connect from the internet to my home pc the router reboots. I never get connected. It seems when the router sees that type of traffic it reboots.

Mar 20, 2012We have an existing Cisco 2621 XM router with an ADSL interface connected to BT Broadband. Basic layout below:
Internet------ADSL on Cisco 2621 ------ Pix 506e ---- 3600 switch with inter VLAN routing to multiple VLANS
There are 5 static IP addresses. The internal FE port on the 2621 has one external assigned to it. The outside int of the PIX has another external IP assigned from the 5. The other 3 are NATd through to internal IPs via the PIX to internal servers etc.
The ADSL is being upgraded to BT Infinity. This new service comes with a separate VDSL modem and a separate BT router. Ideally I want to ignore the BT router and use the Cisco 2621 as it has 2 FE ports and I suspect I could do something using PPPOE.
So New layout would look like
Internet ----- BT VDSL modem------ Cisco 2621 ----- Pix 506e ---- 3600 switch with interVLAN routing to multiple VLANS
I think it is a bit strange the way it is setup as 2 static IPs cant be used. There is an opportunity to use a ASA 5505 which may become available.

This modem is not recognized by the router, a Belkin wireless G model, F5D7234-4 V5. After numerous attempts to restart both the modem and the router, the modem light does not turn on, nor is a wireless connection recognized by my computer, a new Macbook Pro. The router worked fine with the AT&T connection.

Jul 18, 2012I have a WRT54G working throughout our home. It has 4 hardwired ethernet connections, and several wireless connections working without any issues. Currently my Droid phone, iPad tablet and 2 laptops connect and get through to the internet via wireless connection.
Today I purchased a new TF700T Asus Infinity Tablet. I'm able to get it to connect to the router, see the network, and the router can see the Infinity Tablet (assigns an IP address), but no internet access.
what tools I can use to see where the traffic from the tablet is being blocked. The log on the router doesn't show me anything. I'm assuming there's a port or ports being blocked by the router, but no idea which ones.
Already tried hard resets and a firmware upgrade to no avail. In fact the latest firmware upgrade (4.21.5) hosed the entire network so I reverted back to 4.21.1
