Belkin Routers :: F7D4302 - Can't Forward A Third Port
Mar 6, 2013
I have two ports forwarded on my F7D4302 router, used for security cams, trying to add a third. The router does not open the third port. I've tried several different configuration without success. Since I've already been successful with the first two, I am puzzled.

I can not fix the problem with the router. I power it up, all is GREEN, then it blinks RED, then GREEN, and finally RED. The router is terminally not connected to the Internet. How can I check if the router is BAD. I have done all the troubleshooting, examples:
connected ethernet directly to computer - no problems
attempted to fix problems via belkin software
changed channels on modem
updated firmware
etc, etc

I have a Belkin Play N300 (part number = F7D4302) wireless router, and I want to connect my (soon-to-be-pole-mounted) 12DBI omnidirectional antenna to it, the goal is better wireless access in one area of a church camp. I have a couple of U.lf - RP-SMA pigtails on the way, because of course the router doesn't have an external antenna connection.
I opened up the router case, and below is a shot of the board. There's plenty of room inside the case. The router is dual-band (2.4 and 5ghz), and uses 2 internal antennae, apparently it senses the better one and uses it as needed.
My plan is to disconnect one antenna, and connect/solder my external antenna pigtail in its place. I'm a fair hand at soldering, but very little practice de-soldering...
1. Is disconnecting / replacing one antenna the way to go, and if so, which one? Or should I leave them both connected and piggyback my external onto one of them (soldering the leads on top of existing connections), or disconnect both antennae, or does it matter?
2. Which set of wires, white or black, are used for which band - and should I connect to? I assume I'd want to hook up to the 2.4ghz, correct?
The white wires come out from the tiny Broadcom chip, I think it's marked BCM43224KMLG (dang, that's some tiny print!). This page leads me to think that these are the 5ghz antenna leads, but I'd llike to be positive before I start cutting.
The black wires appear to feed from the larger Broadcom chip marked BCM4718A1KFBG. Again, this page leads me to think that this is the 2.4ghz antenna.
3. Assuming that the black wires are the ones I want, would it be ok to cut one really close to the board end, cut the U.fl connector off of my pigtail, prep the wire / shielding, and solder the wire / shielding on top of the existing solder connection?

I am attempting to forward port 25565 on my router, and having some trouble. I've set a static IP address as both 192.168.2.10 and 192.168.2.111, and attempted a dynamic IP address. The port forwarding page via 192.168.2.1 in the browser looks like this, with the Private IP Adress changed to whatever corresponding IP address I have set (checked with cmd /ipconfig).
After testing with multiple online port checking tools, the ports remain closed.

Recently setting up a RV042G for my SOHO. Everything seems to be fine except for SSL port forwarding. I know the router's external static IP is reachable because I test it out with remote management functionality from an external IP. Port forwarding also works correctly because I have other behind the router servers in both UDP and TCP working flawlessly. PPTP VPN also works corrrectly. What I can't get it to run is an Apache server. Looks to me RV042G kind of drop all SSL or HTTP ports from the WAN side.
Configuration:
- 4 port forward rule under "Setup/forwarding" for 80/8080/443 and 8443 all to the webserver with a static IP.
- Firewall page I have Firewall, SPI, DoS enabled.
- Added a firewall rules to allow all HTTP and HTTPS traffic from WAN1 to the webserver static IP.
- Toggle Block WAN Request, HTTPS and multicast does not affect the result.
- Toggle and mapping the remote management port to other port beside 443 does not affect the result.
The same setup will works corretly under my old Netgear FVS router. Am I missing something in RV042G setup?

I cant work out how to get my Netgear DGN2200v3 to port forward.Portforward.com describes how to port forward for a Netgear DGN2200 but NOT for the DGN2200v3.The difference between the DGN2200 and the DGN2200v3 is that when I log into the router and go to port forwarding/port triggering there is no box to fill in the server IP address. It just says service name, service type, starting port, ending port.

I'm trying to setup a simple port forward in the RV 120W Router, but can't seem to get it to work.
I created a custom service called RDP for TCP port 3389-3389. I added a Port Forward to Always Allow the service RDP, from any source IP to destination IP 192.168.50.23. I have tried it with "same as incoming port" and also specified port 3389 for forward from and to.
Firewall access rule is enabled and set to Inbound, Always Allow, RDP service, Any source & destination IP, DNAT IP is 192.168.50.23.

I attached an Iomego Home Media network hard drive to my Linksys E3000 router (via ethernet cable). Before setting up the remote access on the Iomega, I forwarded the ports that it wanted (443 and 21) to the static IP of the Iomega. I checked to see that they were open using yougetsignal.com and they were both open. After setting up the remote access on the Iomega, the 443 port closed and I cant even get into the "manage storage device" page for the Iomega. Iomega uses TZo for the domain names. They tell me that the association is made between the name and my public IP address. My router is out of warranty since Sept, so Linksys wont give me the time of day. I contacted my ISP and while they block a couple of ports, 443 is not one of them.I've installed the latest firmware (1.0.04 - Build 6). Reset and rebooted numerous times, Port 443 remains closed.

Is there a way to do something similar?I can make it work for a single one via the DMZ tab with a source ip address. but there is not a way I can find to add the allow for the other two remote connections.

Until now i used a D-Link router with a DDNS account on dyndns.com. I used the ddns account for accesing the surveillance camera when i wasen't at home. The ports for the cameras are 80 and 83.I have a static ip and when i tiped the IP on broswer i was able to acces the camera with port 80 and when i tiped ip:83 i was able to acces the camera with port 83.Today i got a RV180W router made de configuration (ddns, port forwarding) but now when i type the ip address i can't see the camera, instead the router interface is loading and when i tipe ip:83 i get the message "The connection has timed out".I've tryed diferent things but i can acces the camera only by internal ip (192.168.1.x) but using the DDns address i can't acces the camera.

I feel I'm having an issue, and I'm unsure why.We own a Cisco RV042 V03 with firmware 4.0.4.02-tm.
I have successfully demonstrated that I can open and forward ports 8001 & 8081 from the WAN side to a specific IP Address on the LAN side.I performed this by going to Setup --> Forwarding, then setup Port Range Forwarding & Port Triggering.
I also changed Setup --> UPnP, then UPnP Function is set to Yes.
My issue is that we would also like to forward 11101 through 11164 in the same maner. However, when I step through the same method described above, it does not seem to work.So now I am confused how I could open the 8001 & 8081 ports, but not the higher 11101 thru 11164 ports.

I've set up both forwarding rules under Setup -> Forwarding and under the Firewall -> Access Rules.I cannot connect to my device from the outside world, however. Is there something I'm missing?

I have only recently noticed a HUGE decrease in my Utorrent speeds, so i thought i would have a gander and lo and behold.apparently the port Utorrent uses wasn't open. Now, i have tried about 10 different port numbers, made sure Utorrent is being accepted by Norton 360 Firewall, followed complicated directions to (i think) foward ports, and also follow directions to open a specific port.Nothing has worked so far, Utorrent still comes back with a port closed error.
