Cisco :: 1310 AP No Longer Supported On WCS 7.2

After upgrading to 7.2 on my 5508 WCS, the 1310 APs will no longer join. After a call to TAC they said the 1300 and 1400 APs are no longer supported on WCS. Is there any plan to add them back as supported in future releases?I was thinking I could downgrade my backup 5508 and change the APs to autonomous. Or is there some easier way to make them autonomous?
Also, as a low cost outdoor AP, I guess I am reduced to putting 1262s in a NEMA box with outdoor antennas. The 1552s are way too expensive for the quantity I need. Is there some other inexpensive outdoor AP that will replace 1300-1400 series?

I have upgraded my WLC 5508 from 7.0 to 7.4 and the AP 1310 no longer can associate to WLC.
Seems that the AP doesn't work with WLC ver 7.4
Except changing these APs to autonomous mode, any other alternatives?
Besides, if we change them to autonomous mode, can Prime Infrastructure manage/monitor these APs?

I am trying to setup a wireless link between two locations, and be able to pass VLANs through the Wireless link.Currently I have two 1310 bridges.I followed the information at url..., but it is only passing VLAN 1 across the link. Is it possible to make a bridge using a 1242 and a 1310? I have been able to get them to associate together and it appears it will function as a bridge. I have the 12(4) 253 JA IOS for both devices. I would like to use the g antenna on the 1242 for the bridge and the a antenna for wireless clients. The configuration on the web management appears to support bridge root and non root for both devices.

i converted the C1310 to LAP using upgrade tool. but the AP is not able to join the controller i was not able to view SHA Key in upgrade tool, so i ran the "debug pm pki enable " on the controler to get it. i'm still not able to view SHA key.

Customer of mine has 20 AP AIR-BR1310G-E-K9. No controller installed. He use them as Autonomous AP.
Right now ##he wants indroduce a WLC. Due to that every single AP must be converted in LAP AP.
is this action free of charge ? Nedd I SMARTENT COVERAGE ?

I migrate 1310 APs from Autonomous to Lightweight. Migration is OK with Cisco Upgrade Tool, and AP are registered on my 2504 WLC.
Previously, a 802.1x network was broadcasted by autonomous APs, supplicants were identified on a freeradius server with MSCHAPv2/PEAP method.
But on the WLC, supplicants can't auth on Radius server.I configured a WLAN with WPA/TKIP/802.1x with my radius server in AAA tab.When clients try to authenticate, I get these messages where xxx is login:
-AAA Authentication Failure for UserName:821 User Type: WLAN USER
-AAA Authentication Failure for UserName:200 User Type: WLAN USER
-AAA Authentication Failure for UserName:209 User Type: WLAN USER
Security info on client page is:

What is strange, there are some clients which are OK in RUN State, and 50 other % which are not.

I have cisco 1310 bridge with IOS version Version 12.3(7)JA5. Sometimes bridges are disconnecting by showing the following error message.

Once it is deassossiated, ihave to manually restart the bridges. How can avoid manual restarting so it would automatically associate after some time.

Why does my D-Link WBR 1310 Router constantly need rebooting? By rebooting I mean unplugging power source for 10-15 seconds then replugging it. This problem has been going on for the last 2-3 months.

I have a WBR-1310 D-link and was in setup this morning trying to fix my password cause the old one stopped working. Somehow I changed the password and no longer have access to the settings to change it to one that I can use to log on with my other wireless devices!!! Is there a way I can reset the whole thing? I mean something that makes sense to someone who is new to wireless internetting?

When I set a static IP on my device, it works for a short time, then it won't connect again unless I do DHCP. It's like the router chooses an IP for the device, and only allows it to use that one.
The same thing happened a while ago with my desktop, I wanted to set a static IP so I could access it from another building, and the router, being the piece of crap it is, reset all the IPs, and wouldn't allow the computer to connect.D-Link WBR-1310, Hardware B1, Firmware 2.02

In bridged network environment. We have a pair of Cisco 1310 bridges configued betweeen 2 buildings the config on each is simple one as a root bridge the other as non root no spanning tree is running and source route learning is turned off. We had both on in the past. One side of the network has a link out to the internet. About 3 -4 times a day the IP address on the default gateway becomes unreachable i.e cant be pinged. Only a reboot of one or other of the bridges corrects the issue. This happens only during the day when the netwrok is in use. When this happens everything inside the network works fine and everybody can see everybody else. The ISP can see intot eh network and can ping our devices but we cannot see out of the network.

I have two 1310 bridges...one set as root and the other as non-root.For some reason they keep losing connection. I have installed 2 Cisco 1310's, connecting two buildings that are about 1000 yards apart. One access point is connected to an existing 3560 24 port switch, the other access point has a new 3560 24 port switch connected to it. Also installed 4 1240 access point in the newly connected building to the new switch. Issue is my router and existing switches can not ping any devices on the other side of the bridge. They can ping both access points that make the bridge. I consoled the new switch and could ping the existing switches and router, after doing that the other switches and router are now able to ping the new switch. Now my main issue is I have a user using a 7921 phone connected to one of the new 1242's, when he makes a call to a person in the first building they can hear him, however he can not hear them. Our call manager is in another state were I am located. I can call him and vise versa, and we can hear each other. I have went over my configs server times, and doubled check my IOS versions to make sure they are up to date. I will be glad to provide configs upon request.

I have configured a Aironet 1310 bridge as a WGB and is connected to a Aironet 1242AG AP wirelessly!A sensor(IP device) is wired into the 1310WGB. The sensor needs MULTICAST to operate!I checked the DETAILED STATUS of the RADIO and both the 1310 and 1242 are blocking multicast!The RELIABLE MULTICAST TO WGB option is enabled on the 1242AP already!

The RG-59 coax cables that come with the 1310 bridge are only 1 foot long. where I could get longer cables as the power injector is quite a distance away because there are no close power sockets. Instead of installing new power sockets near to the bridge, we wanted to simply run longer coax cables.

I have 2 campuses. I have my 5508 wireless controller working beautifully on my main campus using LDAP. (YAY!!) Now for my problem. My remote campus has 1310 bridges. I was able to successfully upgrade one of them to work with the controller, however, I can't get the other two bridges to talk to the one that I upgraded and I can't get them to upgrade, it indicates that they need to be the root. I have several small buildings on that remote campus, than need that remote bridging in order to be able to have network access.

I have a Problem with a customer WLAN. The customer has a Aeronet 1130AG AP. Now i should configure a Aironet 1130 Repater for this WLAN. I have a pair of Aironet 1310's I am needing to bridge. I have used the CLI to configure the BVI1 with the ip address and verified it. I then tried to access the GUI to configure the device via Internet Explorer and it would not provide access. I read that it had to be older versions of IE but my OS will not support older versions. I then downloaded Netsace Navigator 7.01 as indicated, but still did not get access.
Then I thought maybe if I can access the GUIvia the IPSU tool but I have Googled the Cisco IPSU and cannot find a downloadable link.
