But there has some issue we don't realize. Most people interesting how the inside traffic load-balance outside, but ignore the traffic from outside issue.

Cisco WAN :: 2921 - Two Default Static Routes With Correct Load Sharing

Mar 26, 2012

I have a internet router 2921  .my isp is providing 100 mbps internet link with static public ip network .I am using a default static route to the isp wan ip .I am planning to  upgrade 100 mbps to 114 mbps .Unfortunately my isp doesnt  have gig port in their side .So they are ready to provide two 57 mbps line .Isp agreed they will route my public ip networks in  both the links .

As a result i have two 54 mbps link with same network with two wan networks .My question is whether two default static route to both wan ip will carry out the load sharing correctly ?

Eg :

172.24.66.0 255.255.255.252    -first  link  my fa0/1 172.24.66.1
172.24.66.4 255.255.255.252 -second link  my fa0/2 172.24.66.5
 ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 172.24.66.2
ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 172.24.66.6

Cisco WAN :: SRP547W Router That Supports Bonjour

Currently i have a Cisco SRP547W which works fine when we're all wired in, however we have connection issues when trying to access the server over Wi-Fi. I'm lead to believe that this could be a result of the lack of support for Bonjour within the router. What might be a solid alternative?

Cisco VPN :: 7206VXR - What Router Chassis Supports SM-VAM2+

Jun 17, 2012

I work for a non-profit agency and a donor gave us a generous donation of used Cisco equipment. One of the items is a SM-VAM2+. We tried it in a 7206VXR chassis with a NPE-G2 running 12.4(24)T6 and the router keeps barking that the SM-VAM2+ is not supported in the chassis. We have done searches on the Cisco web site and Google and there is no information regarding the SM-VAM2+ at all (all of the references are for the SA-VAM2+).

The question is if the SM-VAM2+ is supported on the 7206VXR with another version of IOS or what router supports the SM-VAM2+?

Cisco Routers :: ASA 5505 - SMB Wireless Router That Supports Full Tunneling Over L2l VPN?

Feb 7, 2012

I'm looking for a device which will allow me to forward all internet bound traffic through a L2L IPSec tunnel from branches to a central hub and internet connection.

I've recently purchased a RV120W(as a test branch device) which i've tried to get working with the ASA5505 at the central site. I can get the VPN to come up but can't manage to get the internet bound traffic through it. Reading up on the issue, it looks like full tunneling or IPsec wildcard forwarding isn't supported on the RV120W and RV220W devices [URL] The source mentions that the RV0xx series supports this feature, however one of my requirements is wireless on the device.

Any device which supports this rather than just the standard split tunneling, alternatively a workaround which will allow me to use RV120Ws at branch sites? Would an SRP521 support what i'm trying to achieve?

Cisco WAN :: Router 2921 Enough For BGP?

Oct 13, 2011

I need a router to connect to our ISP by BGP and in a future to a second ISP. Our ISP is going to provide us about 300.000 route entries by BGP. So router 2921 would be enough??? or should i go to a higher model? We are going to have 100Mbps with this ISP and probably in 3 months we'll have to double it. Also we'll need IPv6 support.I saw router performance [URL]f and it's has 480.000 PPS and 245 Mbps but for 64 bytes lenght packages. If the packets are bigger the throughput should be best I suppose... 1500 bytes about 5,5 Gbps. In the case you consider the model is sufficient, the flash or RAM should be increased?

First I'm sharing a network via bridging from my dads house. Everything works perfect. I'm using a router at my house with no problems. At his house he as a modem hooked to net gear router and the acer will not connect to internet via wifi. So I bring the thing up to my house and it connects fine via wifi. The acer will connect using a eithernet cable at his house but not wifi.

I was wondering if the acer is getting confused cause his router is hooked to a modem?I've tested and tryed everything under the sun and nothing seems to work.I know theres nothing wrong with the wifi software or hard ware in the acer cause it connects fine And surfs the web via wifi at my house but not at my dads.

Cisco Firewall :: Multicast LAN With ASA 3750 And IP BASE LAN Internal Router

I have a LAN with multiple VLANs connected through Catalyst 3750 with IP Base image. In IP Base the router only supports PIM stub multicast (no PIM multicast routing),But I have an ASA connected to the internal router and to the internet router.Asa supports PIM multicast routing and can act as PIM RP. With this configuration, is there a way to configure an internal multicast network? That is a multicast server in one internal vlan (VLAN 1)  and multicast clients in VLAN 2. Both VLANs connected to the C3750 router.

Cisco WAN :: Multicast To Unicast Through 2921 Router

Apr 15, 2013

We recently acquire a cisco 2921/K9 router  to interface 2 networks

Network 1 : 169.254.XXX.XXX/16 on GigabitEthernet0/0 interface
Network 2 : 192.168.1.XXX/24 on GigabitEthernet0/1 interface

On the network 1 side there is a multicast source (169.254.200.200 destination : 225.0.0.1) on the network 2 side there is 1 receiver which is not multicast capable(old) but i want it to receive the multicast stream for the moment we configure the ip multicast-routing and each interface each interface with ip pim sparse-dense-mode then configure the GigabitEthernet0/1 in order to join the multicast group (using ip igmp static-group 225.0.0.1) and wireshark confirm that the multicast stream on the network 2 side from 169.254.200.200 -> 225.0.0.1 of course the receiver don't the stream, but if i force a "multicast to unicast" process inside the router it shall be ok.. after many hour of internet browsing i found 2 solution :

- NAT, [URL]
- multicast service reflection (Cisco documentation)

The NAT example don't work ,what is the best way to do this task.
