View 1 Replies View RelatedI do you not think the RV220W needs to have better E-mail support that the feature it supports at present? No SSL support at all. The only setting for authentication is: Login Plain or CRAM-MD5. Every mail server I use now, supports SSL as the default authentication and not CRAM or Plain, this makes the E-mail feature useless. View 2 Replies View RelatedI just purchased the RVS4000 v2 to replace an old Netgear FVL328 VPN router which no longer met VPN needs. Despite the poor reviews for the RVS4000, it seems as though Cisco has solved many of the issues with the firmware releases of the last few years. However, I was just reading a post by someone attempting to connect Win 7 machines via VPN tunnel and it was not supported. I'd like to know if this is still an issue, as we stopped using VPN with the former Netgear router, instead relying on teamviewer (but I'd much rather reconfigure a VPN).
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've looked over all the spec sheets and hunted around, can't seem to figure out if the RV016 or RV082 support PoE. what Cisco product would be best to inject PoE on a small business network. I have 1 RV016, and I'm looking to deploy a RV082 and WAP4410N, with the 4410 being the only device on my network that would need PoE, I'd rather not have to buy a dedicated PoE Switch or Hub just for that one device.

My understanding is that VPN tunnels on my RV042 routers will send internet traffic out the local gateway, and only send traffic thru the VPN tunnel if it is destined for the remote subnet. That is my understanding of "split tunnel".
Is that not true with the RV016?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am looking at replacing my existing Netgear Wireless router, and I am thinkg of using a RV120W.My ISP requires PPPoE (uname/pword) and my wife's company requires we have a static IP on our side for VPN connections.Does the RV120W meet these requirements? In what I have found online, I see that the unit does static IPs and PPPoE, but cant find anything that confirms it will do both at the same time.
