View 4 RepliesI am trying to set up the router (881) using Cisco Configuration Professional, to allow ping reply's..I can not for the life of me figure it out.
View 4 Replies View RelatedFor the moment we have a router Lynksys RV042 , and we want to change it with an Router Cisco 891 .I have configured our new router Cisco 891 using Cisco configuration Professional because I am not an cisco expert:
I have configured : DHCP, DNS, NAT, Firewall (I have selected : Advanced , Low Security) . I have tested the new router and :
- Internet is working
- We can send Emails, Receive Emails from Outlook
- Our Web sites cand be accessed from the outside .
- File Share is working
We have 2 problems
1. Can't Access from inside the network : our public ips configured in the NAT : **.***.**.150 .
When we try : ping **.***.**.150 , we receive : Request Timed Out .When we try ping 192.168.1.2 , everything it's ok.When we try ping from outside of the network , everything it's ok.
PS : I want to mention that : if I put back the old router I can access our public IPs.
2. When I send Emails to yahoo and access View Full Header I receive : dkim=temperror (key retrieval failed)
------------------------------------------------------------------
Received-SPF: pass (domain of ********.com
designates **.***.**.150 as permitted sender)
Authentication-Results: mta1036.mail.ac4.yahoo.com from=********.com; domainkeys=pass (ok); from=********.com; dkim=temperror (key retrieval failed)
Received: from 127.0.0.1 (EHLO mail.********.com ) (**.***.**.150)
[code]....
I think our Email Server (Smarter Email) is using the ip Adress: 127.0.0.1 (Please look in the attachement) and this ip is restricted from the firewall (ccp in zone to out zone : Drop : 127.0.0.0/0.255.255.255) (generated by Advanced firewall > Low Security) .How can I set that to work ? Can I delete that row ?
Each time I try to add a new route(route add 172.24.0.0 mask 255.255.0.0 172.21.0.4). I get the following error message: The requested operation requires elevation.

Is there a driver available yet for the External Dell Wireless card (model number D1450U) yet on Microsoft Windows XP Professional x64? I guess the better question is if there is a 64bit driver available for the external card yet?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have tried installing this device on Windows 7 64bit machine. The install seems to go fine and the device works at 2.4G.
But I purchased this unit to be able to test a clients 5GHz system. There does not seem to be any place to switch from 2.4G to 5.0G.
This is an older desktop, Been utilizing the net gear to get on the Internet for months and it was working fine, shows it is connected to ssid but ip shows up as 0.0.0.0 I have other home computers hooked up and work g so I located there ip address, can I input it myself ? If so how?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI was recently given a computer from my workplace. I took this computer home, and put it in the place of my old one. The internet connection on my old computer has always been fine; all cables are connected correctly. However, this computer from work will not connect to the internet. The icon in the bottom right corner of the screen states that I am connected, but the internet browser claims that it is unable to display web pages. May the cause of this be related to any unique computer settings that a workplace may have on a computer in their network? Other computers have no problem connecting to the internet through the same, wired connection. The OS is Windows XP Professional.

It seems the problem is in the certificate, but I verified and Cisco client says it's ok. It's also the only valid certificate in MMC->Certificates->Personal.Furthermore, also using other smartcard (etokens) of other users it doesn't work.
I am trying to forward a port so i can connect to my computer because i want to stream a radio station from computer to my phone.I'm trying to forward port 88 on my Linksys WRT54G Version 6.I tried that but Boardwave audio streaming server still says it's not open! Here are some pictures: I'm using Windows XP Professional 32-Bit
Eset AntiVirus
and using Windows firewall
I cant install drivers for Windovs XP both 32-64 Professional. Original CD tells me for x64 OS is not supported, also, when trying to install only drivers it just can't find it. For x32 same problem - can't install drivers. I've got Intel DP45SG.

If their IP addresses have been changed how do I find out what their current IP adds are? We currently use static IP addressing for our network.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a new 3560G to set up a small network for a remote site. I configured the vlan and an SVI as the gateway. The switch is also the DHCP server for the LAN. I configured Gi0/2 as L3 port, connecting to the nearest neighbor. My network runs EIGRP so i advertised the routes into the EIGRP process. The switch forms EIGRP neighbors and learns all routes in the enterprise network. The problems I'm having now are: 1. The switch learns all routes in my enterprise LAN and can ping devices in the enterprise LAN, but I can’t ping any interface on the switch from the enterprise LAN. 2.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI set this up and I can ping all the gateways but never the hosts. I was hoping I could make these links between 6500's a mix of L2 and L3. Check it out. They are connected in a linear fashion R1--->R2--->R3. I can ping from R1 to R3's SVI4 gateway but I can never ping a host on that SVI4. I was hoping that I could use the port-channels between 6500's as routed links or as trunk links depending on the type of traffic....thought it would ease the migration. I suppose I could always get rid of the port-channels and just make separate L2 and L3 links between the 6500's.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI had both a Westell 7500 and a Linksys Router working fine and had my 360 setup as an extender for Windows Media Center so I could stream TV, Music, Movies, etc from my desktop to the 360. Then I switched my modem/router out with a Zyxel PH5001Z
So now today I noticed that I can no longer find my desktop through the XBox. I have adjusted my firewall settings on the modem itself, even completely disabling it. UPnP is enabled for the 360 and the device is showing under my device table. At first I wasn't able to ping any network devices but after creating an ICMPv4 Firewall rule it worked fine. I've confirmed the XBox IP Address through Network Map, the Device Table on the modem and through Network Settings on the XBox. I've diabled my modem firewall as well as Windows Firewall, completely and I still can't ping my XBox or set it up as an Extender.
I have the XBox connected wirelessly using WPA2-Personal and it's operating in 802.11g/n mode.
I am position to migrate from CatOS 6509 switch to native IOS 6509 switch. long time ago, there was some site to convert automatically based on copy and paste onto the tool, but i can not find.
Does anybody know how to convert CatOS configuration to Native IOS configuration ? It is not IOS change, but it is configuration convert.
I have a strange issue on my ASA 5510 (8.4). I can't ping or connect to the VPN clients but the VPN clients can ping/connect to any inside resources. I have checked all the NAT extemtion entries.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have webcams that need port 8081 opened and I did that, everything worked fine until my DIR655 jammed up and power cycling it and the modem 3-4 times DID not make it work: no internet access and it was definitely a DIR655 problem. So, out with the paperclip to do the big reset, causing me to lose my configuration. When "most" of it came back up with my new config (I had screen prints), all was okay EXCEPT the webcams. Addresses and ports were all configured properly, address was fixed too on the client computer rather than use DHCP. I had a DNS relocation service running (DYNDNS) for the WAN side, but that address (My IP) didn't change either. I tried EVERYTHING. Finally, I realized in all my screwing around that I had enabled UPnP in my application, something I hadn't done before, but did this time as a desperation move. UPnP had always been checked off in the router. So.....I REMOVED my port forwarding and virtual server settings (either one worked before), and voila, everything working, Is this a normal occurrence, that if you have UPnP running, that this auto configuration overrides any manual configuration?
