Cisco WAN :: 2950 Can Ping Outside Network From Switch But Not From Pc Connected

I've connected a dslmodem/router to a fast ethernet port(fa0/1) on a 2620 router.There is a 2950 switch connected to the other port (fa0/0).I can ping the Internet via the router but and the switch but not from a host connected to the switch.I can't reach the dslmodem from the host pc.I've configured nat(overload) on the router.
My customer has various Cisco switches but only cisco 2950 switches has the problem of ping timeout or reply time is too long(average more than 2 sec). It will cause I Network Mangement software alarm always.
I have two WS-C2950G-24-EI switches each of which were running software version 12.1(22)EA2-C2950-I6Q4L2-M. Both swtiches were viewable from Network Assistant version 5.6(3) and part of a community. I then updated the software on one of the switches to 12.1(22)EA14, and now Network Assistant will not add the new updated device to the community and gives an error of "WS-C2950G-24-EI is not supported as community member". Is the latest version (12.1(22)EA14) not supported by Network Assistant? The release notes indicate the Minimum Software Release is 12.1(22)EA4.
I have a lab setup to take my CCNA and CCNP and I'm having issues trying to get WAN connectivity back to a switch at the end of my network. My lab environment consists of 1 - 2950 switch, 1 - 2620 and 1 - 2621XM. I have 1 Ethernet connection from each router to the switch and 1 serial connection from the 2620 to the 2621XM. I have the serial interfaces in a shutdown state right now so there is no loop since I do not have Spanning tree setup on the ports on the switch yet.
Right now using the fast ethernet ports on the routers and I have no issues its when I shut down those Ethernet ports and try using the serial interfaces when I start having issues. So my network layout is Ethernet from switch port f0/4 to port f0/0 on 2620 and serial from s0/1 on the 2620 to s0/2 on the 2621XM. My 2621XM f0/1 is whats connected to the WAN and I have no issues getting to the WAN from my 2621Xm or my 2620 but when I try pinging any website or even my WAN default gateway from my switch I get nothing!
Ive also noticed that when I do a IP NAT translation (after accessing the WAN from my 2620) on my 2621XM the source IP is of my serial connection not the ip of my 2620 router? I have my default gateway on the 2620 as the the IP of my serial interface on the 2621XM and vice versa because my LAN network is 172.16.1.0 and my WAN is 172.16.9.0. I have a /31 setup between my serial connections 172.16.11.0 (s0/1) is on the 2620 and 172.16.11.1(s0/2) is on the 2621XM. I used the SDM (ver 2.5) to setup NAT to have f0/1 with Nat outside and s0/2 as Nat inside. Encapsulation is HDLC between the serial links. Ive attached the running configs of the switch and routers.
I have an Cisco 6500 CS and there is a Cisco Unified Communication Manger Server connected directly to the Core Switch.I tried to change duplex and speed ( fix and auto ) for both sides, but the same problem.
The issue i was having is when i connect to 192.168.50.* network i cannot seem to ping or connect to 192.168.51.2 (esxi host1) and 192.168.51.3 (esxi host2) and also free nas device i.e 192.168.52.2. i can only connect to these devices if i ping the 192. 168.50.1 from both the esxi hosts and also from free nas. Everything starts working if i ping from the esxihosts & Freenas device to 192.168.50.1.
f i connect to the hp procurve switch i can ping the hosts fine from the switch not when i connect to Draytek Router i.e 192.168.50.1 unless i run a ping from esxi hosts and free nas device then everything starts working.Here is my network setup for my ESXI home lab.
I have Draytek Vigor 2800 Router with ipaddress 192.168.50.1 (This Router is Downstairs and connected to DSL Line) and another Router with Firmware flushed with DD-WRT and IP address for this is 192.168.50.2. (this router is in upstairs labroom and is connected in Wireless Bridge Mode to Draytek Router Downstairs)
There is a HP Pro curve Switch 2610-24 with IPaddress of 192.168.50.3 and has VLAN's configured on this switch.The VLAN's are : VLAN10 is esxi vlan and ipaddress is 192.168.51.1 and vlan20 is storagevlan and ipaddress is 192.168.52.1 and vlan 30 is internet vlan and ipaddress is 192.168.50.3 (Switch Address).Port 24 is untagged to vlan 30 i.e internet vlan and connnected the port to dd-wrt router lan port. I have untagged ports 1 to 5 to vlan10 i.e esxivlan and connected esxi host's 1 & 2 to ports 1 and 2 respectively and connected freenas device i.e storage to port 6 which is untagged to vlan20 i.e storagevlan
IP Routing is enabled on the switch and ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 192.168.50.2 and Default gateway on the switch is 192.168.50.1.
On the Draytek router i have configured a static route for 192.168.51.0/24 and Default Gateway is 192.168.50.3 and another static route 192.168.52.0/24 and default Gateway is 192.168.50.3
in the last days i'm encountering some issue about ping on some 2950 access layer.These ones are directly connect (fiber trunk) to 4500 core switches. Ping response is very high between 200 up to 600 ms for a period about 30-40 seconds, then returns to normal valueI tried to ping every host connected to this 2950 and ping responses are normal 1ms or less.
is it possible to assign a loopback address to a typical switch port on a 2950 switch? I want to be able to have some devices connected to a switch to test access lists and VLANs.
I have been though the setup a couple of time with no luck pinging one pc to another from vlan 10 to vlan 20. I posted the running configs and some other information from my router and switch. I am relatively new to all of this so if you need me to post more information from the hardware let me know and Ill put it up. There are no firewalls in place and I know the cables are good because I switched them around to make sure. Also when I change the ip on my second machine for vlan 10 I can ping from one pc to the other but when I try the same for vlan 20 I get nothing.

I have created a VPN connection for ASA 5512-X by using the wizards and nothing seems to be wrong on the wizards's config.I am able to connect to the network by using the VPN but unable to ping internal network.Below is my config for your reference:

I wounder if there is any way to ping the local deviceses connected to a network hosted by a Cisco 1921 router? I wan't to be able to ping the device(computer name) but currently cant do that.
In my organization we have several 2950T that conected each other. We have 4 floor with each floor have 1 sw except 4th flr have 3 sw.
Main server, apps, db ( 15 units) connected to core sw at 4th flr. Currently the problem is others devices can't connected to the server at core sw. Test ping and the network to core sw is intermittent problem. When ping 100 times only 30 reply. After 10 minutes the connection restored. Ping 100 times successful. It will not having problem again until the next day. This already happen 3 days. Any command for me to use to check if port or the switch having problem? Any log i can collect
We have installed last Network Assistant version, 5.6(3), but we can't add any switch to it.... It says always "Unsopported Device type: unknown".Our switches are all 2950, 2960 and 2970 models.
Im looking to connect up 4 new pcs to network but I don't have enough wall ports. I thought I could plug cisco 2950 switch into the port on the wall and act like a hub. The switch configuration is default and there is only one vlan. How is it that it won't connect. Does it need a crossover cable.
I need to update the software for the switch 2950 we have in our LAN. Its been 6 long years I have not looked at this switch and so now is the time since I have had some issue (ie. Outlook losing connections and once in a while email get send out AGAIN for bazzarre reason)
Anyways, I am looking here for thes software I am abit unsure which software to use via Network Assistant. This is the current status of the switch (Cisco 2950, WS-C2950T-SI, 12.1(22)EA4a - C2950 - I6Q4L2-M ). I want to understand what is the difference between C2950 EI AND SI IOS CRYPTO and web based device manager and C2950 EI AND SI IOS IMAGE AND WEB BASED DEVICE MANAGER and which one should I be using for my switch?
One of my wi-fi site having 2nos cisco 2950 switchs. in that network some D-link unmanageble swithes also there and access points also connected to cisco switchs and D-link switchs.after one or two days i am not able to connect the wi-fi, then i need to restart the access point then only wi-fi is working fine.I upgraded the latest ios also.I connected some access points to the cisco switch ports, those ports are showing crc error messages like below. Can't get cisco router and switch to see each other? When I connect the 2620 router to a 2950 switch no link lights turn on. It's the same when I connect any router to either of the two 2950 switches I have. I can connect to both switch and router from a pc using telnet and the router can connect to a regular tp-link switch. I'm a newbie when It comes to Cisco. Here's the running config for the router and switch. There Is no connection when using any of the switch ports to connect to the fa0/0 of the router. [code]
At home I have a perfectly working test setup for more than 1 year now , but yesterday we had a power down for about 10 minutes in the whole area , after this power down nothing was working in my network any longer.
My Network is has follow :
ISP(Cable Modem) on FA23 from the CISCO 2950 SWITCH (24 Ports) ROUTER (ON A STICK) on FA24 from the CISCO 2950 SWITCH And the rest of the switch is FA1=VLAN 1; FA2=VLAN 2;FA10=VLAN 10
Our home network is connected to VLAN 10 with a IP Range of 192.168.10.x /24 After this power down , I was not able to look into the SWITCH via FA1 , the FIX IP in this switch was 192.168.1.251/24, the ONLY way to get access was via the consol port !!!What a suprice when I connected my consol to the PC , I can see ROUTER_F342 , my router config is called ROUTER1841 and my switch config name is /was called SW24.So it seems that after this Power Down , the router took or received a config from my provider ?!?
I have recovered the the file in the switch + the vlan.dat and now everithing works again.
How can I avoid that this switch receive again a wrong file , I have all the needed files on the products itself and I do not use a TFTP server.
I have atached some screen shot when my switch is starting up , and it seems that the switch receive a IP address from my ISP , I do not know why, in the config file I have given it a FIX IP 192.168.1.251/24 ?!?So it seems that my ISP erase the config file and when the switch is empty ,the swich look for :
tftp://255.255.255.255/router-confg tftp://255.255.255.255/ciscortr.cfg Etc .... Until it find something.
I have tried after a complete recovery to switch off the power again for 10 minutes (ISP MODEM + SWITCH + ROUTER) and I was not able to reproduce the fault.Can it be that due to this power failure in our area that some routers or switches send or broadcast this kind of things ?
On firewall we have zone created for dmz and ip is 192.x.x.x and it is connected to 2950 switch(DMZ switch) with vlan 25..We have L3 switch on this we have created vlan 25 and connected cable from L3 with 2950 switch with vlan 25
As we have the servers on L3 and wanted to bring on dmz zone we have connected a cable.Now the problem is when i connect a pc on 2950 switch (directly on dmz switch) with access-list below we are not geeting any hist on it.
We are getting "Warning: Saving this config to nvram may corrupt any network management or security files stored at the end of nvram.” And “% Configuration buffer full, can't add command: a0/14” message. " message, when we try to save the configuraiton in one of the 2950 switch.
I'm trying to access the CMS administration page from my browser. I've already tried 192.168.0.1 and that brings up my gateway (cable modem from Time Warner).
I upgraded a Catalyst 2950 switch and there wasn't enough room so I deleted the flash. The upgraded went well using tftp. It booted up fine. The I0S version includes crypto. But, I can't access switch via web browser or CNA. Port scan shows port 80 0pen. What am I missing?

I have a cisco 2950 switch, connected with 4Mbps of internet and number of users will access the internet. There is no restraction on bandwidth limit for users, if any body use high download the remaining users are facing the slow browsing problems.
So, if i can put a bandwidth limitation for every users the problem will be solved. how to restract the bandwidth on user bases.
