Cisco WAN :: Century Link DSL Connecting To ISR 2921 G 0/0 Interface

All, we have a cisco ISR 2921 router. We want to connect century link dsl via PPPoe on Gigabit int 0/0. G 0/1 is configured for a switch LAN. I think I may have missed a configuration on the router as It is not passing traffic. Do I have to configure anything so that it passes traffic to G 0/1 from G 0/0? Below is the running config

How many devices can my century link modem/router handle? i have 2 iphone 4s's a Mac and 2 ps3's is this to much for it? i have a desktop pc that stays wired in.

I bought a Westell 7500 router off ebay to replace the same router provided by century link as I was trying to avoid rental fees. My computer recognizes there is a signal, but I can't get the internet to connect. Any settings I should change? The router I purchased was configured to at&t service. I have Century link. Century link won't assist me because it isn't their router.

I have internet thru Century Link (DSL). I also have a Netgear N-300 wireless router. My computer is 4 years old and is an HP with a G wireless adapter buit-in. Until yesterday, my provided internet speed was up to 7mbps. I received the same speed regardless of whether my computer was plugged in directly to the modem (1), plugged directly into the router (2), or wirelessly. We just upgraded our internet to 40mbps. Now, I get the 40 mbps when my computer is plugged into the modem or router, but wirelessly I only get about 4 mbps, 1/10th of what I get with wired.

I have a Linksys x2000 and have been using it successfully on DSL with a local ISP. I recently changed to Century Link and now I can't connect to the internet (Century Link). If I change the UserId and Password from my Century Link values back to my old ISP values, I can connect to my old ISP. Century Link tells me they have my account active with the X2000 and Century Link.

I have a cisco 2921. I have 2 networks that has its own router
192.168.1.0 network is connected to watchguard firewall 192.168.9.0 network is connected to the cisco 2921 router.
I want to connect the 2 subnet using one of the interface of the cisco router. How I can get this work? It is not connected via vpn tunnel but we want to have LAN speed when accessing resources on both network. Each network is connected to a dell switch.

I know that interface is not coming up because of "no media" below. Router#sh int gi0/1 | i media Auto Duplex, Auto Speed, media type is no media
I have tried media rj-45 and media sfp which have also not worked. The other end of this link is ethernet handoff. What is it that I have to do for the link to come up? If I change the connection to gi0/2, I think that will work because I see this for gi0/2:

This is for a short temporary time until I get cisco 3560s in place. I have a 2921 configured and it is connecting to an HP non managed non VLAN switch and I cant get any traffic to pass from my computer to the router (pings or anything). Here is brief configuration that should be enough. [code]
Here are my vlans 1-default, 2-management, 192-data, 92-voice, i believe its running rapid spanning tree protocol. Do i have to take off encapsulation on my data vlan to get it to work or make the data vlan default vlan for everything. I am lost as to why this is not working.

We have deploy a Cisco ISR 2921 to connect two ISP for internet access, Link 1 is fix public IP, link 2 is xDSL.And we configure dual link load-balance, the configure just like the famous DOC "[URL]" name:"dual internet links NATing with PBR and IP SLA". Inside network to internet is ok, and traffic was load-balance, Dual link can be redundancy. But there has some issue we don't realize.Most people interesting how the inside traffic load-balance outside, but ignore the traffic from outside issue.

I have running a Wireless LAN Controller Cisco 2006.Today my management IP its public with Internet access. I am thinking in use a private IP without internet access. I have certains Access-Points in other building, that connect to AP Manager interface using Internet . When i see the tcp connections, i look that the access-point not only have TCP connections to AP Manager interfaces, it have TCP connections to Management interface too!!!.If i shutdown the connection between Management interface and Access-Points (mantaining the connection between Access-Point and AP Manager interfaces)?

I have a ASA 5505 configured with three VLANs: Inside, Outside, and DMZ.I am running an exchange server on the Inside network and have configured NAT to allow connections to it from outside. This works fine. I can also happily connect to it using it's internal address from the inside. In the DMZ I have setup a linksys router to work as a guest wifi network. I configured the ASA to block any traffic from the DMZ to the internal network.This has been working fine for the last few weeks.Wireless users cannot access any internal resoureces, but can browse the internet etc.. etc..
My problem is that I want users to be able to connect to the wireless with smartphones, tablets etc..., if they do so, they can access the internet, but not get their email. From my (limited) understanding, the problem is that the ip address I am trying to connect to is the same ip that I am transmitting from. Is there any way to send the packets to the outside network and then loop them back to the exchange server?

I have two Catalyst 2960 Series (48 port) switches with the newest Cisco IOS installed. There is also a Cisco 2600 Series Router which I can't manage because it's ISP managed.
Now the problem is as follows. I'd like to create two VLANs, one in the IP range 192.168.0.xxx and the other in the 192.168.1.xxx. Now the router has a gateway IP address 192.168.1.1 .
Would it be possible to somehow connect these two VLANs with the router so that these 2 VLANs can't see each other but they can ofcourse both contact the router and exit on the internet?

While I managed to connect to each router individually, I decided it was time to connect the routers together via serial; as I don't have any serial cables and need to buy some, what serial cables I need, as well as to ask whether I have the right cards in my router(s) that will allow me to do so.
I bought 3 1841 routers, and all have a 1 port serial WAN Interface Card (WIC 1-T); one router has 2 of these, and one router has a WIC-1B-S/T .. My question is, can I connect the routers with a serial cable via WIC 1-T, or do I need a 2-T

Search for 'DIR-825 timeout' only returned a half page and none were relevant.
DIR-825 2.03NA - The web interface has a ridiculously low timeout value. 60 seconds maybe?
I can't build a list of MAC addresses, e.g., before it reaches the timeout. I try to save.... and I have to log back in. And my changes are gone.
What's maddening is that it WAS working the way I wanted, with seemingly no timeout, until recently when I had to basically re-do my network.

i can't access to the router interface page at 192.168.0.1 and not from ddns account. but the internet connection working good, and i'm downloading a lot of torrents in background. i just want to check something on the router and can't access to it, until i disconnect from the power adapter and restart it. maybe he's overloaded or something? how to solve this issue?

When I log in to my router (192.168.1.1) refuses to communicate with me in IE8 or Chrome. It seems to work 'OK' with Firefox (not as smooth as it used to up until couple of weeks ago, but still works).I am getting either no response when I click on specific links under STATUS, or a very slow one. I also get no details at all.For example - I click on Wireless where you can see 'Wireless clients that are connected' and nothing appears even though there are at least 5 devices that are currently connected.

Well, I've been using my DGL 4300 as a switch, but now I need to use the wireless capabilities it has. I tried going to 192.168.0.1 but it timed out. I pushed down the reset button in the back and hold it for 15 seconds, tried the IP again and nothing but timeout. I unplugged the power cable, held down the reset for 15 seconds, plugged back the power, and still nothing. I've tried various methods, various IP's, and nothing.

After uploading dir-615 dd-wrt firmware, it did not lead me to the new page so I unplug it after 5 minutes and replug it. I tried 192.168.0.1 but it seem nothing came out. Then I found that there is no gateway ip address shown up when I use command prompt to search for the gateway ip address. what does that mean? did I clear the software in it?

The Issue:When only one PC is running or actively being used there is no issue. However, when there is moderate internet usage on a second pc the internet connection will drop (the WAN light on the router stays on as does the ethernet light on the modem) and give this pair of log entries.

Bought a new DIR-655 Rev B a few weeks ago.It's web admin interface has failed in some way. The device is still passing all user traffic in both directions, but attempts to connect to the admin interface with my web browser, from both the wired inside and the WAN outside fail. I can telnet to the actual tcp port number that it's configured for and establish a connection, but I can't get any response from it. At this point I'm expecting the only way I'm going to clear the condition is to power cycle the device when I get home from work. It is to note I have the device configured for https for the admin interface. Perhaps that's the more 'advanced' feature that's newer and is exhibiting some kind of bug, I wonder. I'm running the latest firmware available from D-Link.

getting the 825 that the NAS device is plugged in?When I connect the NAS 323 it is not recognized and Easy search utility that comes with the 323 cannot find it. Lights on the router for that port do not light up either. Worked fine with my old linksys.

On our ASA 5510 we already have one ISP link terminated on outside interface. There is correspoinding nat and global configured for outbound access to internet.
Now we need to terminate second ISP link on one of the DMZ interface to have redundancy for the primary ISP.
When primary ISP link or router is down we need to send all the traffic to secondary ISP router. How do we configure NAT and global for this condition that only when primary is down then only this NAT -Global should be used. Do we have anything like object tracking associated with the NAT-global.
So that as long as Primary RTR - object is up ASA will use the first NAT-Global pair. When primary ISP is down RTR-Object is not reachable then ASA will perform the second NAT-Global operation.
Also can we have default route pointing to Outside interface (primary ISP router) and in case of primary router failure it will point to secondary ISP. Do we have "track" in the static route commands on ASA.

I have experience too much traffic between the link L2 (Fastethernet - GigabitEthernet),, 90%. What can I do to fix that, any command? rate-limit or something?

I have a problem with System-defined Link Port Interface Utilization Poller. When I generate Interface Utilization Report, this one just displays few Interfaces (see the figure in my attachment). I checked the default poller for interface utilization and recognize that it just associate with few Interface (same as in Interface Utilization Report) instead all. I need to display the utilization of all interfaces in my report
Is Link Port Interface Utilization wrong or Is it necessary to creat user-defined poller that associate with all interfaces of devices?
