Cisco WAN :: How To Connect Catalyst 2960 Switch To Zyxel ADSL Modem

I need to connect these devices:
- Some computers.
- A Cisco Catalyst 2960 switch (computers must be connected to this switch)
- A ADSL router Zyxel P-660HN-T1A with WiFi (the switch must be connected to this router)
In my company we have at least 10 computers which were connected to Internet using a WiFi connection. But now we need these computers connected to a wired line and this router has just 4 Ethernet ports which are not enough obviously. So we bought this 24-port Cisco switch to connect all the computers and I don't know how to connect it to the ADSL router and what configurations to set up in order to have access to internet in every computer connected to the switch.

Im trying to Connect a 2960-S Catalyst Switch to a 3560 Catalyst Switch. It worth pointing out im newish to switching although i know some commands and what they do This is my first time connecting 2 switches together.They are connected via a crossover cable and have green lights flashing on the connected ports When i run "show CDP neighbours it sees the new switch Unable to ping new switch...just timesout Here is the the interface on the 3650

i try to implement layer 2 qos in 2960. when i complete to configure the switch, i want to test the qos.PC1 conect to switch port 1,PC2 conect to switch port 2 . PC1 is source teminal. i use skydata.exe and FTP for the test.
when use the skydata ,the PC2 speed can reach 10mbps.when use the FTP , the PC2 only can reach 1.2mbps. why?

I can use Putty to SSH into my new switch (Directly connected to my laptop with ethernet cable), but I cant log into my switch.

It doesnt like my password, but I have only set 1 password (king) on this switch. I've configured 3 other switches with SSH and had no problem. Been trouble shooting for awhile and It'd be great if I could have a 2nd set of eyes take a peek, Also, my running config is attached.

I added Linksys RV-016 16-ports VPN Router into the connection. RV-016 supported multiple subnets.
As mentioned in [URL], D-Link DIR-615 needs to be a device which could support multiple Vlan subnets. But unluckily DIR-615 does not support multiple Vlan subnets.
Therefore I added Linksys RV-016 in the the combination of devices. As what i found in RV-016 GUI setting, it supports multiple subnets.
Purpose outline:
1. Have to create two different SSIDs.
- SSID 1 for Management (able to view all other LAN devices)
- SSID 2 for guest and staff (unable to view all other LAN devices)
2. Create two VLANs in catalyst 2960s.
3. Create two subnets in Linksys RV-016 to accept two Vlans from catalyst 2960s.
Any experience of configuring RV-016 for the mentioned purpose above?

I want to configure my switch via console cable, the switch boots up normally, and there are no configurations present on the switch. However, anything I type does not appear on the terminal client. I used several terminal clients (TeraTerm, PuTTY, HyperTerminal), all latest versions as well as different PCs. I even forced the switch to rommon mode, still, anything I type does not appear on the terminal client.
Here's the output of TeraTerm:

I Have a problem I'm trying to configure automatically my switch over ther DHCP when I start the switch it request an IP from the DHCP from here everythings is fine but it does nothing more,indeed I put on my dhcp the option 66 and 67 which is an adress of my TFTP server and a file to download and the switch seems not to understand theses options , I tried my dhcp with a cisco airport and everythings works fine the File from the TFTP is automatically downloaded into the airport...There is an option to add or am I missing something in order to make it work with my switch ?

During the boot, all seems ok. but from my terminal client, I can't have access to configuration mode.Keyboard or Terminal client is not sending commands to the switch.

I've a Shiro DSL805E Modem and to connect to multiple computers, I connected an Encore 5 Port Switch. Now I got laptop and thought of getting a wireless network, so I bought TP-Link TL-MR3420 Wireless Router and connected it to the one of the wires from the Encore Switch. But I'm unable to access the internet through TP-Link Router but the internet works fine for the computers which are directly connected to switch. how to do ip settings for TP-Link Router. But when I connect router directly to modem by bypassing switch, it works fine but not via switch. I bought a new modem (Zyxel P-660H-D1) few weeks ago and since then my internet has been alot slower than before. When i start up my computer, it isn't actually that slow at first... it starts getting slow after around 10-20 minutes. I also started getting bluescreens from time to time. My downloads aren't that much slower then before, but loading internet pages is painfully slow and online games are lagging alot. This is also happening with my xbox360, so I don't think it's my computers fault. With my old modem (Telewell EA-501) I was getting around 6Mbps, but with the new one its only around 1-2Mbps. My ping is also very high (around 400ms) and I have some packet loss. My jitter is 200ms.

My ZyXEL modem/router does not detect my ethernet cables. it has one that runs to the main computer and i have a cable connected to my xbox. the light does not turn on when i try to use the internet for my xbox and the xbox does not detect ethernet. the other port works fine for the computer.

Essentially, I have a spare desktop computer I'd like to turn into a web server, but my modem and wireless router are very difficult to work with. I installed Apache HTTP and successfully hosted a test page which can be accessed anywhere on the LAN. However, I'm having trouble setting up the server to be accessed from my external IP address.
I was supplied with a ZyXEL EQ-660R DSL modem by my ISP (CenturyLink) and bought a Netgear WGT624v3 wireless router in which to connect my laptop and spare desktop.
ZyXEL's website is not useful, and I don't think much of the problem is with the Netgear router. I've played with many settings and have tried to forward port 80 from the modem, but I've had no luck.

I am trying to allow an external website access to my http://localhost:8080. It is a trusted website.
I have a ZyXel Q1000 modem and a Trendnet TEW-452BRP router. The TRENDnet is serving a PS3, Xbox, Wii, and 2 iMacs and the ZyXel is serving the TRENDnet.
My public IP for the ZyXel is 65.xxx.xx.152 and it's IP address is 192.168.0.1 with a range of 192.168.0.2-254 My TRENDnet IP is 192.168.1.1 and a range of 192.168.1.100-199
I have setup a Virtual Server on the TRENDnet using HTTP, Protocol TCP 80/80 and LAN Server 198.168.1.109 (my iMac localhost). I have also setup Application forwarding and Port forwarding on both the modem and router (at different times, trying to resolve this).
Naturally none of those worked. I don't know if I need a Port forwarded or Application forwarding or the Virtual Server. Also don't know if either of those need to be on one or both devices.
All I do know is to access my localhost from the Internet, all I need to do is put http://65.xxx.xx.152 in the address bar of a browser outside my network, and my modem/and or router should forward the request to my iMac and my localhost:8080.
But every configuration I have tried does nothing of the sort.

I just installed a new 2960 to replace a 3550 this last weekend. All of the fiber media converters will not connect to the new switch. The converters are made by Black Box and Desa. If I plug them into the 3550 they link up immediately. If I plug them into the 2960 there is no link whatsoever. I've tried letting it auto-negotiate and tried turning off inline power on the 2960 with no luck.
