come to a bit of a block in the road on a network im building ,all is going well except i need to build a pseudowire to backup our primary L2 circuit, I labbed this with some 3745's but the kit we are using is the 1921, with the universal image how do i go about upgrading functionality to allow this [code]

I have a question regarding enforcing a QoS on Pseudo wire packets coming from a T1/CEM interface on an MWR2941. I have the TDM pseudo wire working great testing in a lab with two T1 test sets. The problem is prioritizing the T1 traffic so that on small WAN connections the T1 traffic is not dropped because of other low priority IP traffic. Currently I have tried applying policy maps to both the input CEM and output gig Ethernet interfaces. However, I am having trouble matching anything on the CEM input. I don't know if it is even possible to match packets on a CEM interface but that is the only point I can think of to put those packets in a qos-group.
Attached is an example of the config.
class-map match-any cem Traffic match mp ls experimental topmost 3 match any!
policy-map INPUT-POLICY class cem Traffic set qos-group 5 set dscp ef!

I'm looking at adding a Cisco 3750-X switch running c3750e-universalk9-mz.122-55.SE1 (IP base license) into a stack of 3750-G switches running c3750-ipbasek9-mz.122-55.SE1.bin Given that the version and feature sets are the same I don't forsee any compatibility issues. Would there be any reason why a universal image wouldn't stack correctly with other switches running the single .bin file?

whether a Cisco Router 2911 would work on images other than universal image. This is the question raised by one of our customer. He has 2811 Router where-in he has configured T1/E1 configuration, terminated to Zyxel Modem and working fine. Now he wants to replace this 2811 router with 2911 router. Since the universal image in 2911 router is not working with the present configuration in 2811 router, he wants to know, what options are there for him to configure this in 2911.

I was first playing dungeons and dragons when suddenly it began to shut down. This driver was the name was listed, and it had a yellow exclamation mark. I clicked on the update driver and selected the automatically choose, which I read may have been the wrong choice from manually. Nothing happened, so then uninstall it altogether, but finding the diver to reinstall has been challenging. OS windows vista.

We want to puchase new Cisco ISR 1921/K9 . i want to know does it support the following sample IP-SLA commands

If Cisco-921/K9 does not support the above commands , should i go for ordering Cisco-1921-SEC/K9 ?

I was found the different IOS support L2TPV3 tunnel ID, like 12.2(33)SRE is support 32bit, 12.4(15)T is support 16bit.so the 12.2(33)SRE can't xconnect/l2tpv3 to 12.4(15)T.
I found the 12.2(33)SRE Local Tunnel ID is over 65535, how about reduce it less 65535? or some other suggest to xconnect/l2tpv3 on different IOS?bcoz using same IOS series is normal. like 12.4T and 12.4T / 12.2SRE and 12.2SRE

I'm currently using DLSW to bridge a VLAN to a remote site and it works fine. I've been reading up on L2TPv3 and now I'm wondering if one is better than the other for my purposes (my hardware will support both), especially if multiple VLANS are being bridge to the remote site. We do not have an MPLS infrastructure, so that's not an option.

I'm looking to build (cheaply) some l2tpv3 tunnels across a campus network. I have a pair of 881's and I was hoping to xconnect the VLAN 1 intfcs between the two of them. "xconnect" is not a CLI option on the interface configuration, although it is for the individual Fa0-3 interfaces. Just for grins, I xconnected the l2tpv3 tunnel between each Fa3 on each router, and the tunnel comes up successfully and I can see a session established. I am routing between the WAN interfaces (Fa4) on each. However, L2 traffic is not passing between the two Fa3 interfaces. I can do it backwards, i.e. route between the Vlan1 interfaces and xconnect the Fa4 interfaces (i.e. WAN), and I can see broadcast traffic from the destination network appearing on the local interface. However, I'd really rather have the four interfaces in VLAN1 tunnelled rather than the WAN interface. I am guessing this has to do with ISL vs. 802.1q, since I'm trying to encapsulate VLAN1 as Ethernet and not as dot1q.

I have a subnet (vlan 104) working great across a WAN. At site 1, Router A (3745) has the L2TPv3 tunnel configured while Router B (7204) has a routed interface on vlan 104.
The only thing router A is doing is the tunnel, so I'd like put the tunnel on Router B and eliminate Router A.
The trouble is, when I move the configs to Router B, the tunnel comes up, but the far side does not receive traffic over the tunnel.
Router B shows sending and receiving packets (per the 'sh l2tun session all' command). The far end router shows sending packets but receiving 0.
Is it a problem to have both the vlan 104's L2TPv3 xconnect interface and the vlan 104's routed inteface on the SAME router?

I share a modem and router with my building, and connect to the internet using an ethernet cable which plus right into the wall in my apartment. When I hover over the network/internet icon it tells me that I have a local connection only and can't get online. No changes were made to my computer between it working and not working - I have not installed any new software and the modem+router have not been changed.
When I try ipconfig/release is says it can't perform the operation while the media is disconnected. It also tells me that "an error occurred while releasing interface Loopback Pseudo-Interface 1: The system cannot find the fie specified".

If the supervisor supports a feature does that mean it is globally supported on a switch? Or do I need to check the compatibility of these line cards as to if they support these features?

facing issues with TP-Link TL-WA801ND while setting it up as a Universal repeater.The AP is a Linksys E3200..and I got the TP-Link to broaden my WiFi at home, I was successful in setting it up, however, after a day or two I get prompted to enter a "WPA2 Enterprise" username/password.I DID NOT setup WPA2 Enterprise, mine is WPA2 Personal...it's peculiar that it works for a bit then reverts to Enterprise.

I've been using a Belkin 54g Universal Repeater for around a year and a half to extend my wireless connection around the house but recently it's stopped working completely. The red "Searching" light is flashing constantly and it doesn't register with my computer anymore. I've tried connecting it to my main router and to my computer via ethernet to no avail.

I have a 1242 Access Point as root and a 871W Router as a non-root bridge (Diagram attached). I have a laptop connected to Fa 0 of the 871W router.
* I am able to ping from the AP to the Router and vice versa
* I am also able to ping from the router to the laptop and vice versa
* But I am not able to ping from the laptop to the AP
All bridging commands seem to be fine. Even tried adding route commands, but none seem to work.Please find the configuration below:

Contrary to the information contained in the link above, these two parts do not play well together. I purchased both and plugged them in and no go. It doesn't even light anything on the WAP. It worked fine when it was on its own 12V DC adapter but not plugged into this injector. What I don't understand is why Cisco doesn't just make a Universal power injector that is essentially a 1 port switch and is 802.3af or 802.3at compatible. Its maddening. It looks like I'm going to have to get an SD208P and waste 6 ports just to get one with the correct POE for the WAP4410.

I am trying to setup a L2tpv3 VLAN-to-VLAN tunnel.My setup has two Cisco 890 router with Cisco IOS Software version 15.0(1) M4. These routers are connected directly on FastEthernet port 8.
One linux machine is connected on FastEthernet port 0 on each router. The two linux machines are on same vlan. I am trying to establish a vlan-to-vlan tunnel between the routers and send traffic between the linux machines.
I followed the case study 11.4 from [URL] and configured the l2tp-class and pseudowire-class. However, the vlan interface configuration is different on 890 router.
I configured a vlan interface as follows.
(config)#vlan 200
(config)# interface FastEthernet 0
#shutdown
#switchport access vlan 200
(config)# interface vlan 200
I don't see the 'xconnect' command in this context. What's wrong with my configuration?

My parents took the modem from the inside of my room to use it on their WEAK computer in their room that they RARELY USE. And even though i can give them a wireless usb they say they wan't it in THEIR ROOM. so ofcourse it pissed me off that my 8 core 8 gig rig would have to resort to wireless but whatever. We have a 2wire740 box from at&t. This one to be exact. url...My question is can i use the Clear modem and plug it into the 2wire740 so that it can broadcast for me to be able to still get internet ?
