just found that on [URL], it stated that Cisco ASR 1000's management tool is Cisco Prime Network Analysis Module, which is same name as software that can be install in SRE of Cisco ISR G2 router for network analysis via web browser.
My question here is this mean Cisco ASR 1000 has built-in support for Cisco Prime Network Analysis Module, which has similar function as the one on Cisco ISR G2 router's SRE?
documentation on upgrading a WS-SVC-NAM-2-250S. I am looking to upgrade to 5-1-2 code if possible. I am only finding documentation for Prime version 3 NAM not version 2 that runs with 6500-SUP-720.

I installed WS-C4506-E 3 day ago. I discovered someting different module status Right at the end of the module ( WS-X4648-RJ45-E ) show red led. this is not port led i try to reset module several time. but it's same status. but this is operating now nomally I upload picture.. and this is module status and diagnostic result

View 7 Replies View RelatedMy only issue at the moment and im not sure if im doing something wrong but the wireless card is Intel® Centrino® Wireless-N 1000 and it says it can do Wireless N Connection but im not able to get it connected to the wireless N network. When i go in to view the options it gives for Wireless Mode it says B/G or just B or G. Now up top it does say 802.11N Mode and has the option for Enable and Disable and its Enabled. I have uninstalled the driver and intel software and reinstall everything a few times but no resolve. How i need to get the card to connect to the N Network?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have problem of dell wireless my notebook is VOSTRO 1000 i installed all wireless drivers and still have the problem. Wireless icon is disappear and see error message that tells like this:
"THE WIRELESS NETWORK ADAPTER COULD NOT BE ACCESSED . THIS APPLICATION MAY HAVE DIMINSHED FUCTIONALITY AS A RESULT".
I checked the NIC Properties and the Speed & Duplex only shows the following 10 half, 10 full, 100 half, 100 full and auto. There is no 1000 half and 1000 full. My old gigabit NIC on my old computer shows all, 10s, 100s, and 1000s and the auto. They tried to fix it and even changed the driver but it still is not showing the 1000s. Their option was to change the motherboard with a refurbished one and my computer was just bought just 2 months ago. The original computer had 12GB memory, I7, AMD graphics card, 460 PSU. no blue-ray, no usb 3. The new setup is 16GB memory, I7, Nvidia GeForce GT 550 Ti, Usb 3, Blue-ray, I think 800 PSU.I am running Win 7 Home Premium 64. I have a Gigabit connection from my internet service so I wanted the NIC to go that fast too. The specs shows the computer to have a Gigabit NIC but the properties is not showing the 1000s.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm currently running CiscoWorks LMS 4.0.1 on Windows 2003 under VMware and just got upgrade licensing for Prime Infrastructure 1.2. I am assuming that I will need to upgrade the current server to Prime LMS 4.2 in order to ensure that data migration to Prime Infrastructure goes well. I am planning to follow Cisco's recommendation to run Prime LMS and Prime Infrastructure in parallel for a time and migrate individual functions.
My real question is about Syslog handling. All of the managed devices are currently sending Syslog data to LMS. As a last step in the migration, is it possible to change the IP address of the Prime Infrastructure server to replace the Prime LMS server so that the Prime Infrastructure server will just start getting all the Syslog data, or do I need to go change hundreds of managed devices to point to a new address?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI am looking for a "no marketing babble" explanation of what exactly Cisco Prime Infrastructure does, that the built in 5508 Wifi administration console and Cisco Network Assitant does not do.I already use the "Cisco UC560 Configuration Assistant", the "Cisco Network Assistant" for our switches, and the "Wifi 5508 web admin console", and I am fine with that.At another site where I work, that is now going with Cisco Wifi, it is suggested that "Cisco Prime Infrastructure" be purchased.Is it important to me to have a "single pane of glass" view of the entire network? NO IT IS NOT.
All this marketing babble about having everything converged and accessible for mobile BYOD users. Yeah, that's great, but what is Cisco Prime Infrastructure actually going to do about all the mobile wifi devices coming in to the network that MUST use a web proxy to get out of our network? Many don't deal with proxy.pac correctly or don't read it at all, unless that function is explicitly turned on, by the individual device owner, in an often hidden location in their device settings. I am mainly looking at the $3000 a year price for Prime Infrastructure and going, no way, the Cisco Network Assistant and 5508 Wifi web console that are thrown in for free with the new hardware is fine with me.
I have recently installed prime lms 1.3 and added several switches to be managed. Is there at this moment a possibility to display port statistics and network statistics for the wired part of the network? I am used working with LMS, but features like the topology view, with bandwidth usage is not yet integrated in Prime Infra it seems. Is there anything to monitor the wired network in Prime Infra 1.3.

View 1 Replies View Related3 months ago, we upgraded two ASR-100 shelves from IOS-XE "asr1000rp1-adventerprisek9.02.05.00.122-33.XNE.bin" to "asr1000rp1-adventerprisek9.03.01.00.S.150-1.S.bin".Prior to the actual IOS upgrade, we had to upgrade the ROM with this package: "asr1000-rommon.150-1r.S.pkg"We now have two more ASR shelves to upgrade but I have 2 concerns and I couldn't find any answer to them:
1) Can I just use the same upgrade procedure for ASR-1000 and ASR-1002F shelves?
2) I could not find the detailed explanations of the "show platform" command output... And I'm afraid we did something wrong with our two first upgrades since I do no have 15.0(1)S mentioned in the three last lines of the output (0, R0,F0)?
