Where the list of changes for the latest firmware version can be found? My new DIR-655 has firmware from May 2010, and I see the latest and greatest on the DLINK website is from September. But it doesn't state what the changes are, so I'm not sure if I should upgrade or not.

On the downloads page there's a 9.0.2.ED listed as the 'latest' but then if I expand the '9' below it I get to 9.1.1.ED. Which one is the actual latest? is there any way to tell the one that is not an 'interim' version I think 9.1.1 is also listed under interim?

I am going to upgrade a number of catalyst 2960s-switcher to the latest IOS- version. The best solution for me would be if all the switches could be reloaded at the same time to shorten the maintenance-windows. So my question is: If I run the upgrade (archive down load -sw) before the maintenance-windows WITHOUT the reload-option, will then the switches continue to run without interruptions with the current IOS- version and config until I run reload manually?

•AMD Opteron Dual Core processor
•300 GB hard drive
•Four virtual machines
•Windows 2003 Standard Edition
•3 GB of RAM for the guest operating system"
I understand it will work as it "has been tested" with those specs, but the doc does not state the minimum requirements for the virtual machine. I dont want to use/find 300GB of space if I only need 20GB(as an example) to make it work.
I'm installing ACS4.2 in our lab domain and want to leverage the corporate domain for authentication. The one way trust is in place, but there is a facet that I'm not clear on in regards to the installation requirement.
I'd like to install ACS on a lab domain member server, but I'm not sure that will work. The installation docs seem to imply that a member server must be in the same domain as the authentication server, but its not very clear. if I want to use the one way trust to the Corporate Domain, am I required to install ACS on the domain controller of the Lab Domain?
When the users connect their laptop they are getting a authentication prompt but the switch is not changing the VLANs on the port after successful authentication.Below are the logs on the switch

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a WPA2/AES network with PEAP MsChapv2 authentication. I have 2 ACS servers for authentication. The problem I have is dropped clients. Both ACS servers are setup identical. The database replcation has been preformed.A series of 10 clients connects wirelessly and they are all successful. ACS server 1 is the primary and ACS server 2 is the backup. We verified that the 10 users authenticated to the primary ACS. My time out to reauth is 30 minutes on the WiSM. 10 minutes into the test we took down the Primary server. This should have had no impact on the clients. 5 minutes later the clients lost thier authentication and were dropped from the network. They were able to reconnect by shutting down thier wireless client and reconnecting. The authentications were seen on the Backup ACS server.on a test of falling back to the primary the same thing happened again to the clients.

View 6 Replies View RelatedWe are looking to upgrade our WiSMs to version 7.0.230.0, but the Cisco compatibility matrix suggests we need to upgrade WCS to the same version (it is currently on 7.0.172.0). My question is can we upgrade the WiSMs and do the WCS at a later date with no issues or do we need to do them at the same time to keep visibility of everything?
The reason I ask is that some of my clients use lobby ambassador for some of their users and they will need wireless access on the day we are due to upgrade WCS (the WiSMs are due to be upgraded and rebooted earlier that morning.
