I have the WAP4410n connected to a SLM2008. I tried to change to 100Mb the port in the switch but then I lost the connectivity.
But it's a giga port and it must work as a giga port. The new firmware must resolve the problem, and not to be a work around. Or what will be the next, not to use N, only G, or only 20MHz or...
I need the WAP4410n for streaming audio and video?
I am able to stream audio from a website when i connect directly to my cable modem but when the router is connected it doesnt work. I have tried resetting the router, ping the website and get "request timed out"The firmware is up to date version 2.25 I have tried other computers that access the same network and they also cant stream the audio.I have also turned off my windows 7 firewall with no luck I can access other sites I visit and stream audio just fine so I wonder if the router may be blocking something on this website?Is there a way to allow an audio stream to come through that may be blocked by the router?
View 1 Replies View RelatedUsing as AP. Last Tuesday in the middle of a Netflix movie the video stopped. Now the wireless portion of the DAP-1522 refuses to pass any type of video. Everything else works (email, Google, Facebook, etc.). I can get to Netflix, Youtube, Yahoo, etc. .....but none of them will pass video.
Using a direct wired connection to the DAP-1522 everything works. Netflix, Youtube, etc.
Download speed checks at 17.74mbps.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've been viewing some videos streamed through the EA6500 from a Qnap 419p II NAS, and several video files are playing back extremely choppy.I can confirm that the video files play fine on the Xbox360 using a USB key and have also previously streamed these videos without any problems using a Belkin Wireless Pre-N router (that I upgraded from) streamed from the same NAS.I've attempted to configure the Media Prioritization feature, but haven't noticed any different results. I have also adjusted other various settings that haven't affected the playback in any way.
My only guess is that some of the files are encoded in a format that the router is struggling with - the video files are not HD videos, and their bitrates are generally quite low - if my old Belkin router can do it, the EA6500 shouldn't have any problems either.
When I view my DCS-932L camera in the Main Console of DViewCam, I can here the sounds in the room being viewed. But if I record the video and play it back, there is no audio on the playback. I have the microphone on the camera enableI now have sound recording, however, the audio is about 3 seconds behind the video. Is there a setting somewhere to keep them synchronized? I have checked all the video sync checkboxes I can find.

When I watch videos on streaming sites the load bar tends to go up but only so far before freezing. If you slide the button along once the umbrella spinny thing gets going then the load bar will kick back into life again for a few seconds before freezing! The problem also effects downloads. Anything that takes longer the 5 or 10 seconds will fail. This has stopped me downloading simple things such as iplayer and flash updates. I know its not a problem with my computer as it effects all the machines that pass through the house. Were currently getting Virgin wireless broadband (so I dont think its a speed issue).A tecky friend of mine thinks it might be something to do with the 'packets' of information or the channel that my router is operating on

View 3 Replies View RelatedI recently bought 3 DCS-920 to monitor my home while at the office. However I can't seem to get the damned things to stream video using the dyndns service. I linked my router to the dyndns account and host service. I portforward the ports my cameras are assigned. Up to this point its all good, I can access the cameras and their settings pages while outside. However both the Java and ActiveX options for video streaming do not work. Even within the network, using their raw IPs to view the cameras the videos stream works.But putting in the hostname and port they are assigned brings up the camera page, but no video.I can only assume the ports the video and audio run on are seperate, as when I put one camera's IP in the DMZ host on my router, it works with the DNS. Unforunately I can only do that with 1, and I'd rather not do that at all.

Cisco 871W router
2x WAP 4410N APs running 2.0.3.3
I currently have 1 AP connected to the router via copper. The AP to AP link is over 802.11. I have attached a diagram reflecting the current topology.
The AP-to-AP link will come up utilizing B/G/N mixed mode; however, the connection is basically unusable. About 30% of the traffic is dropped, while the packets that do make it have a consistently volatile latency, anywhere from 15 to 1500 ms. I have had success using G-only and B/G mixed. The link is stable (I have had the best results with B/G). The problem is, I didn't buy the 2nd 4410N to run the G protocol. I would like to connect the APs running either B/G/N (hopefully negotiating to N) or N only. I am wondering if there is a certain configuration I can utilize (perhaps using WDS repeater or bridge versus Wireless Client/Repeater?), or a firmware upgrade set for release that can make this happen for me.
I am trying to hook up a wireless projector and connect an old audio mixer to my Laptop wireless and in sync so that I can operate the projector video and audio from my laptop anywhere in the room. I am considering purchasing a Epson Powerlite 96W Projector and the optional wireless LAN module but wondered if there was a way to hook up a Epson EX7210 projector wireless as it does not accept the optional wireless LAN module. View 1 Replies View RelatedWe have a new deployment where we have 5 total 7921G wifi phones connected via 2 AP541n access points, one connected to a ESW520p switch and then to the UC540 and the other connected directly to the UC540. The wifi phones are intermittently giving no audio when calling each other, however, calls to the PSTN consistently do have 2 way audio. Is this a security issue perhaps? We are running the latest CCA software pack as this is a brand new deployment, also the AP's were upgraded to the latest firmware.

I am wanting to make my desktop wireless I have a D LINK dual band wireless router now. My laptop is wireless and works fine my desk top is hardwired to router. Thinking of moving my moden and router to TV and making my desktop wireless and hardwireing my media server I think it called ( still yet to be bought still doing home work on which one to get and how to hook up ) Thinking less signal loss be hardwired to media server. I now have AT&T DSL 1.5 MB upgrading to 6.0 MB to stream netflicks . Do you think 6 MB will steam OK? Should I Go with just a USB adapter or go to PCI internal Adapter? In reading some of the other post seems hit or miss on adapter seeing and working with routher. I was able to stream the iso to a netbook attached to the LCD tv by using VLC on the netbook. The only videos I can access on the blu ray player that are on the external hard drive are home videos I converted to DVD quality before uploading, they're not HD. I can access pictures and music on the blu ray from the external hard drive as well. I tried converting an iso to MVK but was unable to access/find it using the blu ray player.

I have been using handbrake to convert both blu-ray and DVD movies to MP4 videos with AAC audio and I have been getting strange results. If I convert a blu-ray movie to MP4 with a DTS audio track down mixed to Dolby Pro Logic II AAC then I can play the movie and I am able to fast forward and rewind. If I convert the same movie but convert the audio in any other way, AC3 pass through etc., the video will play but I will not be able to fast forward or rewind.

My mediafiles are visible and can be played, however I'm not able to get my subtitles with them. I tried srt, ssa, smi, sub formats but in vain. These subtitles are stored in the same location. If however I copy the same mediafiles and subtitles directly to another external harddisk, which I connect to another USB port on the TV I can watch these mediafiles and my subtitles are also available. So my question: what do you need to do to render your subtitles visible?
I've bought a E3000 as replacement for my Linksys WRT350N router.Just upgraded the firmware to version Ver.1.0. 04 (build 6).I use aonTV - an austria IPTV service (Multicast via UDP) - an this worked with my old WRT350N (hw version 1) consistantly well. I hardly had to reboot the router to get the multicast stream.With E3000 I checked the option that it should not filter any multicast traffic - when I reboot the router it works for some time - but after some hours it does not work anymore? I want to watch TV via my HTPC connected via GigaBit Power to the E3000.

I have a user that uses an ASA 5505 in NEM to have his/her laptop and Cisco IP Phone at home. The ASA 5505 establishes a tunnel to an ASA 5510, which is connected and speaking EIGRP to our core switch. Off of the core switch we have our CCM cluster.
The issue happens on the first call after a long period of no calls. After if happens on the first call, he/she can continue to make calls without the issue. I though it was a timeout issue, but his/her ASA configuration is the exact same. Also, he/she is using the same group policy, tunnel-group etc. as everyone else with the same setup.
This issue happens regardless if she has a PC behind the phone or not.Internal calls and external are both affected.
I am aware that most one-audio issues are RTP connectivity issues between the two endpoints. I can clearly see in the routing table of all of our routers, that the route to the subnet her phone is on has not changed for days, and she has had the issue within that amount of time.
I'm looking for a good place to start troubleshooting that doesn't require me to to a pcap. If all else fails, I will do a pcap.
trying to stream movies from the USB drive pluged into EA4500 using 3G or remotely. I got Media Server (DLNA) turned on and FTP Server setup. I also setup Dynamic DNS. I can managed to see the media server on iPhoto using WIFI connection with UpnPPeek. I'm wondering if it is possible that any iphone apps like Air Video can be able to stream movie remotely without turn on the computer?
