I want to do something with IP SLA and started by estabilishing a baseline.
I'm trying to check history on an ASR. I tested same config on a 3845 and was forgetting the "history filter all". After this I could see history table on 3845 but still history is empty on the ASR1006. The operation started because I can see information with "show ip sla statistics".
know if i missed something or maybe this is not supported in ASR1006?

In a 6500 or 7600 a 'show module' gives a run down on all the modules in the slots, their HW and SW versions and status. But I can't find a similar command in the ASR1006.
i repalced old cisco router 2811 with new one 2921 , all works except crypto map VPNs routers can ping each other , ACLs are not applied to outbound interfaces show crypto isakmp sa is empty after i make same configuration on a new router 2921 config crypto isakmp policy 10
keys match , crypto isakmp policy is same , IOSs supoort VPN .interess traffic alse been initiated from both side and all worker in old cisco router with same configuration?
I created some acess-lists, and you can assign a logging level to this access-list. Now this ACL has a lot of hits, so i want to see whats happening. Only the log I then see is completely empty. I cannot figure out how to get some info in that log.
I think there is some global logging setting i probably need to enable in order to get anything logged at all, but i cannot figure out which.

Now the task to keep logs of all translations or binds. Need to store the information about what time, certain internal IP address using the external IP.
I've tried: ! ip nat log translations syslog ! logging trap debugging logging host xx.xx.xx.xx transport UDP port xxx no logging console (so as not to load the CPU) !
Error stopped publishing but logs do not come. I think of the huge number of translation per second, it can not send them as fast. How can this problem be solved or otherwise obtain and store information about a translations?
I'm trying to configure and DMVPN architecture with two routers ASR1006 to server a bank remote offices, one ASR in CO building and the other in CA building (CO: Operational Center; CA: Recovery Center).Each ASR have two LAN connections to internal network and two WAN links to remote office. Each WAN links belongs to differents provider.Each remote office has a router with two WAN links connected to that WAN providers.We are configuring the DMVPN considering two primary tunnels in the CO building and two failover tunnels in CA building.We made the configuration (schemas and configuration attached) but we only get two tunnels up at a time. We cannot ping from office router to four tunnels interfaces in both hubs.
We made some test disabling some tunnels and we could get communication only with two tunnels interfaces. We got communication through tunnels when we have just two.We want to have the four tunnels for high availability. We would like to know how to troubleshoot and make a design review because the examples and documentations are very limited.
why I would see packet loss when BGP comes back up.We have 2 ASR1006's both running full tables of BGP to the same upstream ISP. We load balance the 2 links to them. the ASR's have an OSPF connection between them.When one pipe goes down we see not packet loss; however, when that pipe comes back up we see packet loss until the BGP table fully loads in that router again.

We have an ASR1006 and I'm just discovering net flow aggregation cache.
I tried prefix aggregation and worked fine. But i cant get any information when checking AS aggregation. All I get is 0 in source and destionation AS. [code]

When trying to configure ERSPAN on a ASR1006, I'm not getting any traffic on the destination port. ERSPAN flavour is LOCAL SPAN, as described in:

I have problems in exporting translations of NAT from my router through NetFlow v9 ASR1006, to my server nfdump, any opensource or licensed software (collector) that I recommend.

I have configured a vlan interface on a 3750 switch. there is aprox 4Mb active traffic flowing through the interface, but when I do a "show interface vlan (vlanid)" the output show zero bits in and zero bits out. Its a typical L3 config with one IP on the vllan interface acting as the gateway for the VLAN devices. Is this a normal behaviur ? and if so is there any way to get the traffic in/out stats. The end PC/devices are connected to this switch via an L2 TRUNK and I dont have access to the L2 switch on which the actual devices connect. so cant get the real time stats of those interfaces.
Facing issue with 2960G switch , where its do not display "logging trap informational " in show running and show startup .where its showing all other levels from 0 to 5 and 7 after configuration and save commands. [code] after config getting saved , it do not shows in show runn or in show startup while for all other levels it do show the config lines .I tried the same on 12.55.SE release also but its same results . There is an ASR1006 Router in the network that serves as an Intelligent Service Gateway (ISG). Subscribers are layer 2 connected and subscriber sessions are initiated on a DHCP request. ISG is configured as a DHCP relay agent. Wi-Fi clients connect to the WLAN using Open SSID and are being redirected to a Web Portal where they enter their login info. This info is sent to RADIUS server which checks if the user is allowed to use Internet service. All the APs are connected o WLC using CAPWAP. The question is the following: there is a requirement to track from which AP a particular Wi-Fi clients is connected. In this case ISG needs somehow to obtain AP’s mac address and send it to the Radius server (probably using attribute 30 – Called-station-id). One possible way for ISG to obtain AP’s mac is via WLC. But the thing is that when WLC is configured as DHCP proxy and Option 82 is set, a wireless client does not obtain IP address via DHCP. In this particular case there two DHCP relay/proxy in the network path between client and DHCP server. Is there any other away for ISG to obtain AP’s mac address?
I'm running a cisco 891 with ios Version 15.2(4)M3 ,now I have a dialer 0 interface with fast0 and 1 as well, all is working fine.now I just read about the new sh int 'INT' history feature but when I do it I get nothing.. not a graph or anything I get just nothing as if I just hit enter.anything I need to do to enable the feature?,if I do a sho proc cpu history that works just fine but not the sh int XYZ history commands
after upgrading from Prime LMS 4.1 to 4.2 (Windows version) the "All Devices" group and all the other system defined groups are empty.
The "Inventory dashboard" shows 397 reachable devices which is correct. I can access the devices when I type the name into the search field in the upper right corner of the LMS page.
When I open a device selector (e.g. from the "Device Management" tab) all system defined groups are empty.
When I make a new user defined group with the definition "IP address contains '1'" I get a group with all devices.
We are using the ASA 5520 as Firewall and VPN gateway for remote access by employees and vendors. Is there a way to view a history of VPN user logins? We used to have (or we still have but no longer using it) th CVPN 3005. This device keeps log files of all activities. I miss having this capability in the ASA 5520.
Our enterprise uses a VPN Concentrator 3000 for our VPN access. Is there a way to view a log history of what user connected to VPN and what IP address they were assigned? It would be for 2 days ago which was over the weekend.
I have been appointed to monitor an internet networking consist of 4 computers.
1. To block some websites for all 4 computers. Example, maybe if I want to block YouTube - Broadcast Yourself. or any website. This is actually to prevent users to access any adult site.I dont want to block internet entirely. But just to block some website only.
2. To have a report for internet URL for each computer. Not a bandwidth or traffic report. I dont need that. What I want is a list of URL that the user have surf in the internet.
How can i monitor users web and URL history with monitoring utilities?i am using solarwinds orion but i don't know how can i monitor web and URL histories.does this software have this ability or not?
Privacy in the web, I have a new laptop and I want to know if my verizon router will store my browsing history if I use Incognito mode or privacy mode? Because I don't need people seeing what I was doing.
I was wondering if the ASA 5520 Firewall had the ability to view web traffic or site surfing or does this only work if I have a logging server configured for the ASA to log to? I don't use the ASA much since I'm the database administrator for my company but from time to time I'm asked when nobody else is available. I just checked the ASDM & see that the buffer clears after so many lines & I don't believe we've got a logging server.
