When I launch Monitoring & Report Viewer and select one of the report (TACACS authorization for example) I want to filter the search with Interactive Viewer, but I can't cause all options are grayed. I've heared that some flash is needed but I've got plugins installed and nothing changed.
Can I run in in demo version? cause I've read that there is an add-on license which "Add-on licenses are available to support deployments that are larger than 500 devices (AAA clients) and to support advanced monitoring, reporting and troubleshooting functionality"

I have a cisco 2911 set up at one of my sites and it is configured with sub-interfaces as this provides a default gateway to each of the offices.I have just had a 100mb leased line put in and i have a couple of questions regarding the config.let me start by telling you how it is set up .I have 3 HP Procurve switches connected together then that connects to the Cisco and the Cisco connects to a Zywall
HP Switches > Cisco 2911 > Zywall > Internet
We are wanting to remove the Zywall and connect the Cisco to the Leased line box
HP Switches > Cisco 2911 > Leased Line > Internet
The config of the cisco is
G0/0 - is up but no cable connected as this holds the sub-interfaces
G0/1 - Connects the Zywall - 192.168.1.1 (this has firewall rules to forward traffic through)
G0/2 - Leased Line
The way i have configured the sub interfaces is with its own DHCP pool and default router, some of the offices have there own ADSL router and hold there own Internet connection and the default gateway for that is 192.168.xxx.253 and the offices that use the Cisco use default gateway of 192.168.xxx.254
Now my question is how would I move everyone onto the Leased line and get rid of the Zywall ? Would it be as simple as giving the leased line an address and put in a static route to forward all traffic through that connection ? Or am i missing a trick or 2.

I have a building with 30+ pc's, printers and cameras. I do not have a "server" setup, however I want them to be connected to the T1 line comming into the building for internet as well as file sharing, etc.Currently, I have the T1 line connecting to as Linksys E3000 wireless router. From there I have a cable connected to the wireless router (it has 4 ports also) and then going to a Netgear FS524 (24 Port 10/100 MBPS Fast Ethernet Switch) via port number 24. I then have another CAT5 cable connected to a port on this switch, extending to a D-Link DES-1024D (another 24 Port, 10/100 switch)I then have the 30+ CAT5 cable coming into all three of said devices... No then, I get Internet connection on all units, the problem is that I cannot see all of the devices.

I've seen loads of people connecting 2 routers, but they're usually connecting the routers together (as in connecting 1 router to another, which is connected to both the internet and the PC) to boost the performance of the current router, or connect more devices. What seems to be hard to find is what I want to do.
The situation is, I have a Sky Broadband Router (a specialised Sagem router from Sky Broadband ISP) in the back room of my house, and it's wireless range can't reach the front room of my house (where I want to use my wireless laptop). Moving the router is not an option, so I purchased a Belkin 300N Router and plugged it into another phone socket at the front of the house (the phone line was originally just at the front of the house, but was extended to another socket at the back of the house, the one the Sky Router is connected to).
The router is working, but seems to be clashing with the Sky Router, it can't connect unless I turn the Sky Router off, and the Sky router always overrides the Belkin one. I've seen some posts about syncing routers when they're connected, but these aren't, they're just on the same phone line, how to stop them clashing?
I got told if I changed the IP address of the Belkin Router to one similar to the Sky one, and disabled DCHP it would work, but this just messed the Belkin Router up and I had to give it a factory reset!

I just bought an ea6500 to replace my old Billion router and up to now all I've had to do is plug my phone line directly into the "phone line in" port on the back of the billion router. But I see there is no "phone line in" port on the ea6500, I don't use a modem and have used the billion router by itself for the past 6 years, is there a way to connect my phone line directly to the ea6500 somehow? My research so far indicates you can't do it via an 'Ethernet / phone line adaptor' as they are incompatable anyway.
The install guide seems to expect a Modem is being used but in my case it hasn't been and I would think a router should perform the basic functions of a modem anyway ?
My concern is that if I really need to purchase a modem then won't this potentially 'throttle' the capabilities of the ea6500 which is the reason I've bought it in the first place ?
If I do need to purchase a modem to get my ea6500 working then what specs should I be looking for ??

I've had the E3000 installed for several years and a few days ago saw my download speed drop by 80%. Trouble shooting with the Cable provider ended up with connecting directly from the PC to the modem and the speed issue was corrected. I don't see any recent changes in firmware, no new programs.

I have installed my new E4200 and it works beautifully. I have several wirelss adapters and a few wired connections through powerline adapters. I also have a second VPN router attached to the 4200.I can see the wireless connected devices with the associated IP addresses. If I plug a laptop directly into the Cisco, I can of course see it.However, I can see none of the devices attatched to the powerline devices? I have a securty cam connected via the powerline and want to know the IP address. I checked with cisco technical support via chat and they said it is impossible. I have used 2 previous routers with the same configuration and can see all devices.

The reason is i want to know the difference between the leased line and the DSL line. The whole thing behind the confusion is, We plan to have a high speed internet connection in our office. We will don't have a branch office or some thing like that. I preffered to have high speed internet in our office. I found in some website that Lease line will have high speed connectivity(Upto 10Gbps). Can i use the lease line or DSL is enough for our office. Our office contains of 82 user who will use internet.

I have ADSL router Linksys X3000, but I have an issue with it. I have configured it properly (based on internet provider's manual), repeatedly checked it, but router still says that ADSL line is down. I have also another router from Zyxel and it works perfect with same wire and configuration, so I guess the line is fine.

I I use a Linksys E3000 router. Sometimes when I look at the network map I see a device called "Unknown." It appears as though the two notebooks sometime are going through this device to access the Linksys E3000. (I've checked when both notebooks are on and I can determine what devices are connecting directly to the router and what devices are going through this unknown device.) Is there any way to determine what this unknown device is?

I have a Comcast Router pushing out IP's in the 10.1.10.X range. I want to hookup a Linksys E1000 Router so I can use its wireless & Guest access features. The Linksys is using the 192.168.1.x range. I have a cable from the comcast router running into the Internet port of the Linksys. I have tried changing the Linksys router IP to 10.1.10.x and turning off DHCP. It will not allow me to the internet nor allow the PC connected to it to connect to the PC that is attached to the Comcast Router. I cannot replace the Comcast as it is a combi router/modem.

I have a linksys router WRT54G connected to a modem supplied to me by Time Warner Cable. Just last night, for some reason my internet stopped working. After calling Time Warner Cable internet support, I found out that the modem is working. If I connect my laptop (Dell model which is running on Windows 7) directly via cable to the modem, I can connect to the internet. BUT if i connect my modem to the router, and then connect my laptop via cable or wireless to the router, I can't connect to the internet. When I open up my network window on the computer, I see that my laptop is connected to the router and the router is connected to the internet but I can't connect to the internet. I tried calling linksys customer service and my insurance ran out so yea ... On the laptop, i ran a troubleshooting program and it gave me an error stating that it failed to connect to the DNS server and I should contact the internet provider. Time Warner Cable told me that if connected to the modem directly, I could access the internet indicating that there's an error in the router.

I have a Linksys WRT54G2 V1 router that doesn't work. The lights all blink properly, but the internet connection part doesn't seem to be working. When connecting internet line directly to the computer, my internet works, but when connecting it to the router to the computer, it doesn't. I've tried resetting, unplugging for 30 minutes, etc. Putting in 192.168.1.1 brings up nothing on my web browser. Pinging it says connection timed out. My ipad is able to pick up the router signal as it shows the wifi bars on top, but when trying to use the internet, it says that it's not connected to the web.

I'm sure that the modem/router is bridged which I think it means that it is sent to pass through the port number requests. What I did was go into my Linksys router, setup the port I want to forward to my 3389 (RDP port on the specific machine). Let's say port 45000. In the past, before Windstream took over and I had DSL with a local Telco, I would just enter my IP address and port number and I was in to the machine. Example: 171.234.54.191:45000 That would be the IP address of my modem (which just passed though the requests) to the router. Now when I do the same thing I just get an error message that looks like this: It seems that the modem/router is not passing though the request to the router. This is why I didn't want their new router/modem which the HAVE to charge $120 for worse quality machine than what I already had.
