Jun 26, 2012On previous cameras (eg: the 932L) we could enable the FTP function to send a snapshot image every xx seconds, set a base file name, and set the Overwrite file function. On the 942L, this functionality appears to have been removed from the code. How I can get the 942L to FTP the current image every xx seconds and overwrite the file on the destination? (just like the previous cameras) Perhaps there is a new way and I can't find how to do it?

I buy TL-WR843ND router to provide a better signal upstairs. Router is in wisp mode with statick ip. Everyting work good. I have routed home network with mikrotik. And everyting was setup with priority on mikrotik for each user separately. With this router every user connercted on it was hidden behind TL-WR843ND. According to the manual, when I go to edit my WAN connection, I should be able to enable/disable the SPI firewall. However, on my firmware I get no such option. My SPI firewall is always enabled.
I would like to be able to completely disable it when I'm testing so that I can ensure the firewall is not interfering with my tests.

Just installed my new 8960 and it's working fine. However, I'd like to disable admin access from wireless, and only have that available via the LAN. I can't find anything that looks like it'll do that in any of the setup pages, is it possible? All previous wireless routers I've had have been able to do this.

Oct 2, 2012The only way I could get my EA6500 to work as auto DHCP to my Roadrunner Motorola SBV5220 Surfboard cable modem was to disable IPv6 support on the router. It appears that the EA6500 attempts to issue the DHCP request for address assignment from the modem using IPv6. I could see the status of "Connecting" for IPv6 in the Diagnosis Reports and it would hang. Once I disabled IPv6, the modem assigned an IPv4 address and everything worked fine. However, am I giving up any functionality by having to do this? I bought this router and the WUMC710 Universal Media Connector for the 5GHz connectivity for streaming and just wondered if I'm impacting UMC performance or any other functions of the router by having to disable IPv6.

Sep 19, 2010I've had my DIR-615 up for several months, and it's been faultless except for one thing. I have router in front of it and only use the 615 as a switch and AP. My main router provides IPv6 access through a 6to4, using radvd to broadcast to the rest of the network.
Whatever setting I set the 615 to for IPv6, it always sends out a default route. On rare occasion, it'll interfere with the correct route from my main router (whose router preference is set to high, instead of medium). Even in local-only mode, the 615 sends out a default route. It's an E1 with the 5.00NA firmware, which I believe is the latest.
I'd really like to disable the advertisements from the 615 altogether, while keeping L2 IPv6 support on the wireless and all. I picked this router explicitly because many routers don't work with IPv6 over WiFi, but it'd be nice to get it working perfectly. If there aren't any ways to do this, is there a place that I can download the source for the firmware?

Apr 13, 2011My Dell Studio 1558, specs: Core i5 2.4Ghz, 4GB DDR3, 640GB HD, Radeon 5470 has a very weird problem. Occasionly, either once a week or twice a day the network functionality will literally dissapear. The icon still displays on the tray but when I click it nothing happens. If I try and connect to the internet it will say there's no internet connection. Also if I try and open the Network and Sharing Centre explorer stops responding and has to be restarted. If I try and shutdown the laptop it will just hang on the Shutting Down splash screen and has to be forced off. The laptop is still IN warranty however I want to fix it myself as I cannot face Dell

Jan 22, 2012Using the VRF- Lite functionality on Cisco 3750G's (WS-C3750G-24T-S), I've got a situation currently with a set of 3750's running inter- v LAN routing for around 80/90 connected sub nets (140+ gig ports). I'm looking in the coming week at creating a new VRF and enabling OSPF for that VRF while leaving the existing routing arrangements in the Default IP Routing Table.
I'm in a situation where I can't replicate the live config into a lab to test the impact / implications of enabling / creating VRF's. I know the 3750's have a very small support for VRF's (24 if I recall) but I only plan on using 2 or 3 max currently.

However I cant load any pages in mozilla firefox. Though! I can still talk to people on skype and Dolby Axon voice chat. how do i make the static IP without losing any functionality of my desktop, because it is my desktop, I use it for other things.

Jan 31, 2012Well I have been back and forth on this a while now...I have a 6513E chassis that is getting prepped for prod. I am currently testing sso functionality and I can only get it to work using the following images on both Sup Cards.

If I try any other image, smaller or bigger in size...it forces my Sup card in mod 8 to recycle " proxy request from peer ". I have tried K9 images and non K9 images. Here is an output from sh redundancy.
