Jumping Cursor And Windows Opening Automatically On Laptop?

the cursor on my laptop started jumping all over on its own accord and I am struggling to gain control of it and various programs & windows are opening of their own. I assumed I had some form of Malware (I know very little about computers) so ran various removal scans and a few things were picked up but it continues to do this. My brother brought his laptop round so I could at least use the internet and after 5 mins of being connected to my internet his laptop started to do exactly the same cursor going all over and programs opening - his laptop was perfectly fine until he connected to my internet. Once he took his laptop back home on his own network it was working perfectly normal again.

When using my laptop, my mouse will at times not move. Also when typing, the curser will jump from where you are typing to other areas on the page (to the middle of other words, beginning, or where?
The other day i was on my mums laptop (ASUS X5DIJ) at her house all working fine the battery died so i plugged it in and started it up again however the charger cant have been fully connected and once back in windows the battery died again on the next boot i noticed windows said it had found the system CMOS/real time clock and had installed drivers for it. checked the driver details it says no driver files are required just like it should ever since then it connects to the network but will not connect to the internet at her house or at mine through wireless and ethernet cable although all other computers work fine windows troubleshooter says "Windows could not automatically detect this networks proxy settings"
I've tried resetting routers and laptop = no change netsh winsock reset and netsh int ipv4 reset = no change ipconfig /flushdns = no change ipconfig /registerdns = no change
Want to change DNS Server Address on PC. But when I go to change DNS address by going to Network Connections in Control Panel. Select current Local Area Connection and choose Properties, I get an error 'An Unexpected Error Occured'. Have tried resetting network again but still the same error
Trying to open my Outlook Express emails from old XP into Windows 7. Windows 7 says to verify my information which was emailed to me. However, I cannot receive email since I cannot get on to Live Mail.
A few days back I have changed the modem (don't know the previous model no) because of some issues. Since then I am not able to open most of the websites in Firefox, IE6/8, chrome, opera. If i connect with other network like reliance data card, those websites are opening, if i connect bsnl the problem will be same again. I called to customer care many times, but no use.
I've recently bought a wdtv live streamer to play all my music and videos.
Firstly, my setup. Wdtv live connected via USB3 to 1tb wd elements hdd. Also connected via rj45 to router. Laptop on same network, but wireless.
My first question concerns transfer rates. When sending any kind of media to the networked drive from my laptop, I'm only getting transfer speeds of about. 2 mb/s. I thought I would get much more than this as when the wdtv streams to my iPad, it will need faster speeds than this.
The second question is just to make my life easier. Is there any way I can set up folders on my laptop to automatically sync with a chosen folder on the networked hdd? Just to save any effort on my part really
What I want is if I import a cd using iTunes into my library, it will automatically see it and copy it across to the hdd so I can play it over the network.
As an aside, would it be easier to store my whole iTunes library just on the networked drive?
I am using windows 7 OS(32-bit) and it is creating automatically the sessions and communicating with different static ip's.I have find out by using netsat -n command
I have a 5508 WLC with CAP3502i APs connected to it. I upgreaded the code to the newest 7.2.115.1 code. I am having trouble with laptops that are not physically moving but are moving their connection from AP to AP in the same area. This is in a school and causing a problem with a testing program they are using becuse they drop 2 or 3 pings in the process. I do have the area heavily saturated with AP but that is because of the amount of clients we have connecting to them. There is 8 classrooms in a hallway with 24 laptops in each classroom. Each classroom has an 3502i ap in it. The laptop can be connected to an AP with great signal and move to another AP that still has a good signal but not as great. I don't understand why if I get 4 bars and connected at 144mps it would move to a new AP. These are Lenovo laptos and i have updated their wireless card drivers and set the roaming agressiviness to low but it still happens.
I am running Windows 7 and I use a ZyXEL ZyAIR G-220 Wireless USB adapter for internet. I had a virus called something like Cloud AV 2012 so I used Malware Bytes to remove it and it worked just fine. However, now the internet does not seem to work (there's that yellow triangle with the exclamation point) and when I try to run diagnostics, the message "Windows could not automatically detect this network's proxy settings" comes up. So far, I've tried rebooting, disabling proxies in all of my browsers, and running scans, And I also cannot system restore, because apparently windows security was turned off and there are no restore points
I'm on windows 7 btw.When I diagnose the problem it says: Windows could not automatically detect this networks proxy settings I'm connected to the internet via cable on my laptop. Yes I'm using a router. The other computers connected to the router can connect to the internet but mine can't. It also says "unidentified network - no internet access" when I click on the computer icon in the bottom right corner of the screen. until I downloaded from a music site which gave me the virus I think. Now, I'm not certain if the virus is removed or not. I tried system restore point but it won't even let me restore my computer anymore for some reason, maybe because of the virus.
I'm using my old laptop now. On my regular laptop, my internet icon has the yellow triangle and when I trouble shoot it, the message says "Windows could not automatically detect this network's proxy settings".Recently I noticed my computer was heating faster (and hotter) than usual so I ran a search again and it said no threats were found. I have ran the search twice since then and still nothing. I was advised to use ccleaner,malwarebytes, and Super Anti-Spyware. It removed one other threat but the problem was still there. I then started using combofix, but I did not like the look of it so I stopped that scan. It seemed a little sketchy. As of this morning, I'm having the internet problem. My old laptop (the one I'm on now) and my girlfriend's laptop work fine. I connected it with the Ethernet cord and that didn't change anything. I have Windows 7. I have 2 NICs in my Windows 7 PC at work.NIC #1 connects to our private network and is also how I connect to the internet. NIC #2 connects to our customer's network and does not allow internet connectivity for me.When I first boot up my Windows 7 machine I get the following info in route print:Despite the fact that I have a persistent route with metric 1 to send my internet traffic to the 172 subnet, the internet requests go to the 10 subnet. I am guessing that is because the non-persistent route to the 10 subnet has a metric of 20 vs. the 21 for the 172 subnet. I delete the route 0.0.0.0 mask 0.0.0.0 10.242.1.254 and I am able to connect to the internet again.HOWEVER, after something like 4-6 hours, (without rebooting) the bad route automatically reappears in my route table! I become aware of it because I suddenly have connectivity problems. There are no entries in the Windows Logs that seem to be related (i.e., no DHCP renewal requests.) so I do not know how or why it reappears.

Error: WAG320N is always disabled automatically by Windows 7 Each time power on WAG320N, it works well for a while ( 1 to 5 minutes), can also make the ADSl connection automatically. After that time, WAG320N is always disabled automatically by Windows 7. Need to manually Enable it in Windows 7, once it is manully Enabled, it work well for days.
i have a server with windows server 2003 that SQL server 2008 is installed on it.regulary server service will be stoped automativcaly and all shared folders will be unshared and i must restart server and waiting for next stop and .
sometimes my net will randomly dc and wen i trouble shoot it says "windows could automatically detect this networks proxy" and then when i go to diagnose it says "your computer appears to be correctly configured but the device or resource (dns server) is not responding.
When ever I open the lid to the laptop it takes 5-10 mins before it will automatically connect to a network. Diagnose this network does not find anything, nor provides any troubleshooting. Typically if I open the network connections center and disable the wireless, let it sit for 30 secs or so, and re-enable, it will finally connect.
I know it's not my router, as the laptop does the same thing at work, and multiple different friends house.
I've confirmed that DHCP is set to automatic connect. I've also checked Device Manager/Network adapters/ and unchecked the box "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power"

There is about 5 devices in my house that uses the same network. Two of them are Xbox's (One uses wireless, other uses wired). I've tried many times to open the NAT for the 2 Xbox's, but have never succeeded.I've read that enabling UPnP, will fix the problem; however I have tried that, and it does not work. If I want to open the NAT for just one Xbox, it will let me - I just port forwarded the required ports for the one Xbox. In my case, this isn't want I want.

I have an issue whereby my Windows 7 (Professional 32bit) Toshiba Satellite Pro laptop is losing its ability to resolve DNS when connected wirelessly to my BT Homehub (combined ADSL modem/wireless router). I have had the same laptop and Homehub for over two years and this has only started happening in the last couple of weeks. I cannot pinpoint any h/w or s/w changes that have been made and could account for this behaviour.When the issue occurs (typically after 15-30 minutes of normal internet browsing) I can no longer view web sites or ping, for example, www.google.com. I can, however, ping the Homehub and localhost by ip address. Some other non DNS-reliant services such as Skype, email etc may continue to work also.The only way I have found to reliably regain working DNS is to restart the laptop. Other attempts, such as disabling/enabling the NIC releasing/renewing IP and flushing DNS cache have no effect.
- disabling all AV/firewall software - the problem remains.
- Several restarts and finally a full factory reset of the Homehub - no joy.
- uninstalled/reinstalled the wireless NIC (Realtek RTL8191SE) and made sure I have the latest drivers.
- Removed all other devices from the network to ensure there is no IP clash.
- Laptop rolled back to a known good restore point.
I have an XP laptop on the same wireless network that does not suffer from this issue, so I know the actual connection is not at fault. I use the Windows 7 laptop on another wirelsess network (at work) and it is rock solid for 8 hours +. So, it looks to be something specific to the combination of the BT Homehub and the Win 7 laptop.Worth noting, before anyone suggests doing so, the wired NIC on the Windows 7 laptop does not work so I am unable to connect directly to the Homehub with an Ethernet cable.By default the laptop is set to obtain its DNS servers and ip address from the Homehub via DHCP � the resultant ipconfig looks like this:

I have a XP home SP3 as a server. My wired pc's all can see and connect to the server. I am now trying to add the wireless laptop running 7 Home. I can see my wired 7 Ultimate in the network window. I cannot see my server running XP.
My windows 7 wireless laptop does not see my XP desktop computers (hard wired to my router). My windows 7 wireless laptop can access the internet via the 2.4gh band of my new dual band router.
My XP desktop computers can see my windows 7 wireless laptop and access shared files.
I just upgraded to a new dual band router. The prior router was a single band and my windows 7 wireless laptop could see my XP desktop and access shared files.

I'd like to sync my laptop to my pc. My pc is connected to the inet via modem, and my laptop through the wifi device connected to the top of the modem. Is it possible to sync the two? I'd like to be able to access both my pc (& my external hard drive connected to my pc) from my laptop. From what I've read, it's not possible unless both computers are on a wireless connection. I'm using Windows XP on my pc, and Windows 7 on my laptop.
I am trying to set up a ICS on widows 7 through my laptop. My LT has 2 Adapters. One Ethernet and one wireless. I am plugging in through the Ethernet.I am to trying to set up ICS for my iPhone and iPad. When I set up the ICS my iPhone picks up the network but says it is unable to connect after typing in the pass.I have enabled sharing. I then went and turned security off. Tried connecting again and it allowed me To connect. It says I was connected but my iPhone says it is on 3G.
I want to open a certain port on my router and I know it shouldn�t be a problem, just go inside of your router settings and add the port manually. But somehow I was enough smart to forget my routers username and password, now my question is my only option a hard reset of the router and deleting all the work I put in to connecting the two computers with my router (believe me I had my share of troubles connecting them with the router) or is there a way to open the port on the router from my computer without accessing my router settings.
I openened my desktop, and now usb wireless adapter keeps dropping connection every minute for about 5 seconds?usb wireless adapter was working correctly before i oppened desktop.it doesnt have to do anything with software.is there something that i could have moved inside??
