Feb 18, 2012We connected 4 wireless access points (AP541N-E-K9) to an SG300-10P switch.We want to be sure that no wireless clients can alter settings to the network by connecting to any of the networking devices. We also want that no wireless devices (except a few) can connect to computers that are on the wired network. I'm new to configuring networking devices so how to set up the switch for this.We already added all the MAC-adresses of all the wireless devices (that are allowed to use the wireless network) to the access points.

Dec 19, 2011I have a computer hooked up to the internet with a cable modem via usb cable. The ethernet part of the modem is hooked up to my xbox 360.
I don't have a wireless router or a wireless internet connection but I do have a Belkin USB Wireless Adapter and I read on the web that you can turn your computer into a wireless hotspot if your computer has a wireless card with antennae or a usb wireless adapter.
Example, I have a Nintendo USB Wireless Adapter. All I do is stick it into my computer's USB port and it becomes a hotspot that I use to connect to my Nintendo DS to the internet wirelessly. So I basically thought that my Belkin adapter would be able to do the same thing only with whatever other devices I try, not my DS.

Is this correct? I'm not sure whether the default gateway should be 192.168.0.255 (as would with normal subnets) or as I wrote down 192.168.0.126, this is the first time i've ever gotten assignments including VLANs and I havn't really gotten a solid explanation.

I have named them the same and the summary says that both are up. But when I try to go from one side to the other I am unable to Ping or resolve anything. I called Cisco but they said they are out of warranty. Cisco directed me here.

I installed the module into the router and the router recognizes the module. I can configure the ports as access or trunk ports, but I am unable to configure the channel-protocol or the channel-group for the Etherchannel. The IOS on the router is 15.1 M with the upgraded Bootloader version 12.3.

Mar 11, 2012We are deploying a new office in the building next to our main office. The main office has a Cisco ASA 5510 behind that is a Cisco 3750 stack. In the new office we are deploying a new Cisco 3750, they will be connected via fiber cable. I have sliced off VLAN 800 as a transit link /30 with an address space of 10.249.249.1-4. The new 3750 only has two VLAN's 800 and 112 (10.112.0.0/24). VLAN 112 routes are advertised to the neighboring 3750 properly as seen in the routing tables of the 3750 stack:
D 10.112.0.0/24 [90/3072] via 10.249.249.2, 00:22:24, Vlan800
Traffic passes between all local VLANS with no issue. I found in order to get packets to pass between the ASA and the new 3750 I had to add a static route to the ASA:
S 10.112.0.0 255.255.255.0 [1/0] via 10.100.0.1, inside
My question is why is EIGRP not advertising the 10.112.0.0 network to the ASA. Here are EIGRP configs on the switches
